Kristine and Bernard are wonderful hosts. The breakfast was remarkable - with cakes cooked by the hostess!

Small issue but Wifi was patchy.

Quiet, great air-conditioning, seven minute walk to supermarket, cafes and restaurants. Walking distance to all attractions in the old town and the city. The best thing about it was Bernard and his wife, Christien. They were so kind and helpful. They even went so far as to help us with the difficulty that we had with a rental car - they went above and beyond. We will be back. Lola, their work experience student, was also so kind. If we could give more than 10 out of 10, we would. They went the extra mile to cook special gluten-free apple cakes and purchased a delicious gluten-free breakfast also.

Le Clos D'Hauteville is a charming period building with beautiful original features, lovely hosts and good facilities, close to the centre of Le Mans - 10 min walk. The private parking was excellent in a secluded garden area.

Nothing, the +40C temperature was a challenge but did not detract from our stay.

What a wonderful surprise this place turned out to be. The setting is absolutely beautiful, with a gorgeous garden and an atmosphere that immediately makes you feel at home. The hosts could not have been more charming or welcoming, and the food was truly exceptional. Kristine is an absolute delight. From the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely cared for and welcomed. This stop wasn't even part of our original plan—we booked it at the last minute after a change in our itinerary—but it ended up being one of the most memorable experiences of our trip.
