Good value for money

Basic, clean room and comfortable bed, good bathroom. Great location when using trains, trams and buses, which are all literally across the road. Pleasant staff

It needs more colour. Except for the Reception/ Lounge area, where there's a nice little bright red Fiat, the decor is dark timber and beige/ grey walls. In comparison with other colourful lois hotels, this one is dull. Breakfast bar items need to be replenished more frequently.

LOVELY HOTEL & OUTSTANDING STAFF

I LOVE this hotel! I was put into a terrible situation by AirBnb and had to get an emergency hotel late in the evening. I couldn't get a taxi (I don't speak French) so I phoned the staff and they organised a taxi for me. The decor of the hotel was gorgeous and even had a vintage Fiat 500 in the lobby. I got a beautiful room with air-con (this was during the heatwave) and had a delicious dinner from the bar. Lovely shower and bed. Breakfast the next morning was outstanding. I got a late checkout and the staff very kindly allowed me to stay in the dining room rather than go outside in the 40 degree heat. AirBnb staff were TERRIBLE and did not sort out my new accommodation in time so I had to stay another night in a hotel. Unfortunately Ibis Centre was fully booked out by this time but the staff made a reservation and organised a taxi to another Ibis hotel. I will never forget how while I was being treated like garbage by AirBnb I was looked after and received absolutely outstanding customer service by the fabulous staff here. I want to especially thank Barbara, Lou and Dylan for helping me in such a stressful situation and making my stay so incredible. You really went above and beyond and I'll never forget it - thank you!

Breakfast was excellent and good value. Location fine but had a bit of a walk to restaurants.

The pillows were too thin however the bed was very comfortable.
