Historic B&B oasis in historic Brugge city center.

This historic B&B is a perfect oasis in Brugge. It is within easy walking distance of the central square, shops and restaurants. Our bed was roomy and provided an excellent night’s sleep. There was endless hot water for showering. The breakfast dining room has a lovely atmosphere. Our host offered a tasty selection of breakfast foods including made to order eggs and choice of hot teas or coffee. One evening we relaxed in the living room with our other family members. Can highly recommend this beautiful property for your stay in Brugge!

An absolute dream.

Kristien is the most wonderful welcoming host. De Corenbloem is an absolute dream. Stunning room within the most incredible building and an incredible courtyard to enjoy in the summer! And it’s a no children location which is a fab bonus for us! It is in a fantastic location within easy reach of all the essentials and the only place I could think of staying if I come to Brugge. Lovely, historic mansion stay. Live in history!

Loved staying in a beautifully and carefully crated historical property. The host was attentive and breakfast was wonderfully and artistically prepared. Rooms have comforts added and the location is convenient to sights in the core historical area while being just far enough away to be quiet and have a gorgeous garden space. Loved the huge tub in my room!

With everything so perfect, I was a little surprised there were so many exposed wood floor areas with no carpets.

Gorgeous and peaceful stay in the heart of Bruges

We had a fantastic stay in Bruges. The house is absolutely gorgeous, from the gardens outside to the beautiful details in the room. Our hostess Kristien was wonderful. She made us feel welcome and was helpful and attentive. The breakfast was also delicious! Perfect location walking distance from the main square in Bruges. We would certainly recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful oasis.

Gorgeous old house, very grand, lovely decor and nice garden. Great location - 5 or 10 mins walk to central square but just far enough out to be quiet for sleeping. Spacious room, lovely bathroom.

Bed was very soft. Breakfast only started at 0830 - very late.

A superb stay in Brugge!

Kristien was very kind, helpful & professional- a fantastic host! Our room was beautifully decorated, bed & linens extremely comfortable, a lovely garden view & the breakfasts were delicious. She spares no detail with homemade goodies, fresh ingredients & lovely table settings. A true delight & I only wish we could have stayed longer!

An ancient building renovated with great taste and art pieces at 10-mins walk from landmarks of Bruges. Comfortable and spacious room, amazing breakfast with fresh dishes in a gorgeous dining room, lovely garden backyard, and Kristien is a great host, taking care with everything, very kind and helpful.

Grand and atmospheric

The Corenbloem is beautiful, with a fabulous peaceful garden. Our room was more like an apartment, with a lounge area, a walk-in wardrobe, a small kitchen, and its own courtyard. It's a very grand and atmospheric house, beautifully decorated and dressed, our room has hand painted walls. The location is perfect, just a few minutes' walk from the Markt

A hidden gem that exceeded every expectation

This guest house far exceeded our expectations and gave us the most wonderful 3 night stay. The rooms were spacious, beautifully designed, and immaculate, with beds so comfortable it was hard to get up in the morning. Every detail felt carefully thought through, from the high-quality towels and bedding to the lovely toiletries provided. At the back of the property is a tranquil, secluded garden - a hidden gem that offers complete calm despite the guest house being just steps from everything you’d want to see in the centre. The atmosphere throughout is one of pure relaxation. The host (and her sweet dogs) were very welcoming, and the breakfast each morning was a highlight: fresh breads, homemade yoghurt and jams, seasonal fruits, fresh juices etc. all of very high quality. The photos truly don’t capture how special this place is. We were genuinely sad to leave and felt it offered incredible value for money. We would happily return in a heartbeat.

Stunning house, in beautiful Bruges.

A beautiful house to stay at; centrally located in Bruges. Our room was on the back of the property overlooking the rear garden and was wonderful in terms of space and tranquility. Breakfast was great, with some very nice items and beautifully presented. There is also an honesty bar, with a huge selection of Belgium beers, etc. all sensibly priced. There is a great underground car park, very near by, only a four minute walk, so we were able to leave our car safely there for two nights, costing a shade over 30 euros, called P-Ezelstraat.

Beautiful property with rude staff

Location and the building , interior design garden awesome

The guy who manages the property with his wife , he asked if i need anything i told about changing the towels in a very normal manner he got suddenly mad because it is just changed if we pay extra or more than 2 days or stay something like that which is not written in booking contract ,also which is more rude is he mentions about the price i stay was too low compared to regular price , it is like i cheat booking app to choose price by myself 😂 i think he is gonna learn to answer in polite way and if he cant maybe better not to ask about something next time

This was a very wonderful experience that exceeded my expectations!

The website is 100% accurate. I’ve only stayed in a few B&Bs but this is by far the absolute best. The experience was very authentic, the bed linens and towels are truly luxurious. I’ve stayed in many 5 star, 5 diamond properties and the quality of the bed/linens are on par with a luxury hotel. The location is EXCELLENT, walkable to so many things in the city center. The house is authentic, hundred plus years old and has a very old world charm about it. We stayed in the Garden Suite (view of their garden). Wooden floors that are rough in spots, so wear the slippers they provide. Breakfast was very enjoyable, Jan thought of small things that reflected a real attention to the guests. For example: I like sparkling water and when I was getting my yogurt (homemade by the house) I came back to the table and he had it waiting for me along with coffee. Very worthwhile experience and I’d highly recommend staying if you like an Old World character B&B.

I’m used to air conditioning, which it doesn’t have but we were very lucky to have only 1 warm day that was uncomfortable. But it’s weather and not predictable.

Very well located

Even though we had 2:00 check in confirmed and made our travel plans around the check in time we were told to go elsewhere till 4:00 and scolded for not giving correct info about contact. Remarkable since they sent me an email confirming 2:00 check in. Next morning we asked for an hours grace period before we could get onto our boat and were denied. For me hospitality is key and the way it is delivered determines my experience.

Fabulous B&B

Wow! There aren’t enough positive adjectives for describing this property. From the moment you step into this restored 1700s villa, you are steeped in luxurious history. The bedroom was spacious and furnished with fabulous bed linen. A full bath with antique tub and a modern shower. The views onto the garden were stunning. Our breakfast was served on lovely china with coffee served from a silver pot. Homemade yogurt, eggs to order and a variety of fresh fruit, cheese and breads.

I honestly feel this is the best choice we ever made booking a hotel. We had the garden view room and it was amazing! The room was spacious and the view of the garden was lovely- it was open to the guests too! The large bathtub in the center of the huge bathroom was a very special treat as was the huge shower room. The breakfast was beautifully present and was very generous. Eggs were made to order, coffee or tea was in a pot at each table. There were a variety of breads and an option of having cream cheese, smoked salmon and capers! Home made jams, yogurt and freshly squeezed juices too! Who could request anything more. There was parking in a garage near by and it was an easy walk to the Market square.

Lovely B&B … my sister-in-law and I took residence for 4 nights in the first floor flat, which was a spacious set-up for two. Comfortable bed, private patio, kitchenette, walk in closet & bath. Luxurious accommodations in the heart of Brugge

This BnB was exceptional ! Francois and his wife were very accommodating and friendly ! Our accommodations were not only breathtakingly beautiful but historical with modern conveniences - the bed was luxurious and our room included our own expresso machine, robe, slippers and large rain water head in the shower along with a claw footed tub! The gardens were beautiful with a glass green house and manicured gardens. The breakfast was delicious with so much to choose from ! It was a 5 star experience !
