The hotel is hidden away in the busy old town - super short walk to main landmarks. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The room was beautiful and spacious. It had everything we needed for a weekend stay. The bed was comfortable, however the pillows were too soft, but not a deal breaker.

Great hotel in a great location.

My sole concern was the use of open access toilets. Fine as I was on my own but if my wife had joined me we’d have demanded another room.

Amazing location

Parking is not with hotel it’s in nearby carpal (only 200m) but wasn’t clear to me at first. The room had a rack in it for hanging coats that fell down. The dirty mugs were not cleared and I had to ask for replacement. Beds quite bouncy and sofa bed was very noisy every time my daughter turned over in her sleep!

The staff were really friendly and accomodating, especially while my wife was ill. The hotel itself is ideally located, we like to walk so it was perfectly located for us. Breakfast was amazing, especially the touch of champagne in the mornings, my mother in law took full advantage of that. The room was lovely too, we really like the fact that we had a safe in ours, it meant our valuables were secure during our stay. Thank you so much, we look forward to staying again soon.

The ventilation in the room is quite poor, for example when we had showered the room steamed up, we didn't open the window dow because my wife was ill so maybe having another extractor fan would help the room from becoming damp etc. Other than this we had a lovely stay.

Good base for exploring Bruges- quiet and central

Beautiful hotel and room spacious and comfortable bed. Large bathroom with heated towel rails good location close to centre but very quiet (except for the guy emptying bottles into the trash early morning)

Poor maintenance and cleaning- used clothes left in bathroom. Large area of floor not vacuumed. Dust on walls and power point hanging out of wall. The hot water failed my first night and as reception phone wasn’t working had to dress and walk down to reception- the lovely lady got boiler restarted but had to wait till 11:30 for a shower

Brilliant Stay in Bruges

Very warm welcome from staff who were attentive and helpful throughout our stay. The hotel is excellently located for the centre of Bruges. Very comfortable bed and the room itself was lovely as well - the coffee machine was a welcome addition. Good selection of food at the breakfast buffet. The free cake at reception was yet another added bonus!

Nothing to speak of here other than the hot food at breakfast could have been kept warmer (this occurred each day of our stay).

Location is amazing! Just a few minutes walk to the central area of Brugge. Really safe and down a quiet street so no concerns for noise pollution (and we were facing on to street!). The staff are so friendly and helpful and the hotel is beautifully decorated. The rooms are a great size too! I would definitely recommend anyone to stay here for their time in Bruge!

The hotel staff are very friendly and welcoming, in this very centrally located Bruges hotel. The breakfast is one of the best I've experienced especially in a little boutique hotel. Would happily stay here again. The hotel car park is not suitable for large cars but there is an underground car park with lots of spaces about a 5 min walk away.

Lovely & friendly hotel in the heart of the town

Hotel Sablon was recommended to us by friends and we were really happy with the recommendation. The hotel is right in the heart of the main town, just moments walk from the shopping streets and close to the Dam Square. The staff are wonderful and the hotel has such a relaxed and welcoming vibe. They go out of their way to be helpful and informative. Our room was well appointed and comfortable and it was nice to be in the historic centre of Bruges. The bath/shower was compact and took a little bit of fiddling to get the shower to work but that’s just a European thing. I would definitely recommend staying at the Hotel Sablon.

Great location and loved the communal areas of the hotel. Staff were really friendly.

Not much of a view from our double room. We had a problem with the shower head not sitting properly in the holder. Although we mentioned this and it was resolved temporarily, it quickly fell down again.

Elegant and whimsical hotel that felt like luxury in the heart of the city!

Everything here was spectacular! We stayed here in a "panic" after having to leave another HORRIFIC hotel, so we booked it and moved in within an hour! They made us feel so welcome and comfortable after that experience. They held the restaurant open slightly later so that we could have breakfast (which was INCREDIBLE - delicious buffet including mimosas and espresso drinks, etc.! Smoothies, etc. Our kids were so excited there were even pancakes with maple syrup or other toppings). We loved the whimsical art, the lovely bar in the lobby with good drinks, where we met later that evening with our friends who also happened to be there from out of town, etc. We cannot say enough good things about this hotel. Loved the modern bathrooms, everything was clean, quiet, comfortable, and well designed. The staff couldn't have been more attentive and kind! Photo of the sculpture I'm attaching is of some of the fun art in the lobby (my friend and I may or may not have taken selfies with her trying to mimic her bubble! ;) LOL) Also a shot of the breakfast room with mimosas!

The location was very convenient to everything, yet far enough from the main market area that it was very quiet. The staff was extremely helpful with everything.

I wish we could have brought our own food and drinks to the patio area. We were asked to not drink in that area, as the attached bar area wants to sell their product instead.

Good hotel but it needs a refresh and some improvements

Staff very competent and helpful. Great location

The room was big but it needs a refresh. Some parts of the bathroom floor had different stains. There was a terrible smell of sewer. The doors and some part in wood of the room were damaged. The soundproof between the rooms is not good and practically I can ear all has been happening in the adijacent room. It is a pity because the hotel is very good and a little refresh and a small improvement may give to the room a new life.
