Good value for money and good location

The room was big enough and the bed comfy. The bathroom was ok. The location was very close to the centre and you could walk around anytime and return to the room for a while and back out. The room view was not i was expected but still was nice.

The breakfast was basic. Except boiled eggs nothing else was warm.

Most enjoyable. Would return but book room with lift, check the parking and take a kettle!

Comfortable, quirky, very welcoming and helpful staff. The rooms were sparsely furnished but adequate. No tea making facilities but this may be a British thing!

The lift advertised did not serve all rooms - hence two flights up for an old couple was less than perfect! Parking was advertised on your website but after paying a non returnable fee for accommodation we discovered that it was fully booked. However after contacting the hotel the problem was resolved. Tweaking your website should solve this problem.

The location of the property is great for a walk to the centre it took us about 5 minutes. The breakfast had a good selection but didn’t start till 8 am. The parking was very handy right next door but didn’t start till cost 20 euros.

The bar wasn’t open when we got back after a long day sight seeing and there was no where to get a cold drink. The bed was very soft and the place is very quiet which at 9pm is very unusual. We were on the top floor in the attic and even though the weather was cooler the room was very warm and I didn’t sleep too well.

Not worth the price

Bed was ok.

Bathroom was not very inviting as seen on the pictures. For the money I payed I would have expected more. We had a lot of dead mosquitoes on the walls. Also a bunch of alive ones because the window was open right next to the river.

Location is great, good choice and quality for breakfast. Bed large and comfortable in the first room we were in.

Persistent loud squealing from the plumbing which I very much doubt is a new problem. Staff not particularly helpful although they did move us to a smaller room with smaller bed after two nights.

A bit pricey for what you get

Hotel was in a great location and the staff were very welcoming and friendly. Bathroom was clean and modern.

Booked a canal view room but actually got a skylight that you needed to poke your head out of to see anything. The hotel offered us a change of room after the first night. However overall I found the hotel a bit too minimalist and not very comfortable. No tea and coffee facilities in the rooms (apparently free access to the coffee machine downstairs 24/7) but who wants to get dressed just to come down to the lobby first thing just to get your morning coffee? Breakfast was continental style but at 15euros I thought expensive for some croissants and cheese and ham and a boiled egg.

Lovely stay and great location

Location is superb- really close to the centre of Bruges but still quiet. We had a large room with a lovely bathroom. When we checked in, the lady at reception was very friendly and helpful.

Highly recommended

Perfect location, pretty canal, quiet street but very easy reach of market square, restaurants, bars and shopping. Comfortable bed and room with relaxing view. Heavy blackout curtains, full length mirror, plenty of decent hangers. Very friendly and helpful staff. Lovely old and interesting building. Bar and plenty of nice places to sit to enjoy a drink, inside and outside spaces.

Nice continental breakfast but would have liked some pastries on offer with this. Breakfast coffee and machine not nice but perhaps just not my taste. Decor in room very nice and minimalist but some peeling paint over bed. Swich for main light by door only. Hairdryer old and sticky, impractical and needs replacing. No kettle in room.

A strange odour within the bathroom which did not go. Explanation was due to the canals and when it rains the smell comes back into the bathroom.

Breakfast was good. Very diverce. Distance to the city centre was great, about a 5 minute walk. Room was clean.

view was nog so great, saw the garage/dump. There was no parking spot for us. 4 people, 2 rooms with 1 car were not prioriticed over 2 people with 1 car, which is strange in my opinion.

A day before I inform the hotel that we need to leave at 7:30 and if they can arrange something for us due to the fact that breakfast start at 08:00. They were not flexible at all. So we pay for something we didn’t get it. Hotel inside its charming but very old, rooms was nice. For sure it doesn’t reflect the same pictures as on the site. I will not choose it again.
