Its a short walk to the city centre but its so quaint and lovely to overlook the waterways. Quiet at night and was overall a great stay!

We stayed at this hotel for 2nights. It is in great surroundings of historical buildings with lovely walk along canal just a few minutes away from the central of the city. After our arrival we could have our " relax drink" in lounge / small bar area. All Staff is friendly,helpful. Reception is 24/7 ...if you can't see anyone give them a minute as they might dealing with different host or serving in bar area. Breakfast is server in basement of the building with original features of the building and with wariety option to choose ...hot,cold or sweet. Highly recommended...best place we had in our Easter weekend stay across Belgium.

Lovely hotel overall, in a quiet location but close to the city centre. The bed was comfortable, breakfast offer nice and there’s a cosy internal garden. A structure limitation is the very thin walls.

Nice old hotel & updated room with a good location for walking into old town. Friendly & helpful staff. Interested old building with bare timber running throughout. Criticisms are: thin walls allow noise & conversations to easily bleed through. There were loose roof tiles (their assessment) that clanked and clunked all night. annoying and jarring. Would stay again though.
