Fantastic we will definitely be back

The room was beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. The host was friendly and helpful. The location was just out of the centre which was great for us just a 10 minute walk to the square. The breakfast was amazing without doubt the best continental breakfast I’ve ever had. We would definitely return and recommend to friends. Check in was very easy

The only thing I could think of is that the pillows on the bed are a bit small for me and towels for the amazing shower also are a bit smalll

Perfection!

If you want to spend time in the most beautiful space this is it. The room was so gorgeous I almost didn’t want to leave. And the breakfast…wow! I’ve never had a more delicious breakfast in my life.

Location is wonderful but (at no fault of the hotel) there are not places to eat close to them. So not a dislike…just something for those staying to keep in mind.

Beautiful stay but could do better

Absolutely beautiful property. The room was a great size and lovely decor.

The check-in time is 4pm which we were notified of after booking and checkout time is very early at 10am. Further more, if you want to leave your luggage on arrival you need to ask in advance and it’s not guaranteed they will agree. Thankfully the property agreed to hold luggage prior to check in. When checking out we asked if we could leave our luggage, the host abruptly said no. Loved staying at the hotel but the lack of flexibility is a put off. Would have rated the B&B at 10 if it wasn’t for this.

An exceptional townhouse style boutique hotel. Perfect for getaway.

Fabulous hotel room with beautiful decor. Breakfast was on a different scale it was incredible. What’s a lovely surprise and how well presented.

Bathroom toiletries were a little sparse. Would have expected the basics such as body lotion and shower cap. Also, there was only one pillow on the bed for each.

The best place that i have ever stayed in.

This is a MUST stay when in Bruges. The owner Elsy is so helpful and accommodating. The whole property is absolutely immaculate & clean. The breakfast is amazing, what an experience. I cannot recommend this place more. Worth every penny. I will be returning.

A wonderful stay and made very welcome when we arrived and throughout our stay

Very clean and well presented. The amount of breakfast options was excellent, if anything, too much but was all delicious.

disappointing

the room is beautiful and the breakfast is lovely

We would like to begin by saying how EXCITED we were to book this stay. The room is amazing and high tech, but the room was set for heat only and it was a warm night which meant we needed to cool down our room, instead we were only able to heat the room. Hours later while lying in a fancy bed sweating, we were sad very sad. tried sleeping with the window open but the location is on a Main Street with the brightest of street lights and very loud location. finally got a message at 2am from the proprietor that they switched the controls to air conditioning in the middle of the night for us, so we woke up freezing since we didn’t know they had done this. Also, we had travel delayed on our arrival and very bad weather as we commuted to the property, we kept the proprietor aware of our situation and we were told if we arrive after 6:15 we would be charged an additional 75 euro on an already over-priced room. lastly, the location is on the very outskirts of where you want to be. the rainy weather made this walk longer than one would like. Sadly, we would it recommend staying here. We were very excited when we’re booked the reservation, but we’re very disappointed with our stay. Forgot to mention that the staircase up to the rooms is so very steep and difficult and NO ONE offers to carry up your bags, and when we were checking out we hoped to store our luggage at the hotel while we toured around and we were told NO that is NOT possible since she did not know if she would be back later to let us in to pick up our luggage. If you wanted to be treated poorly, this is the place to stay. We felt as though we were there to please and cater to her.

Absolutely Perfect!

Stunning hotel!!!!!!!!! Beautifully decorated hotel. Time and care has been taken with attention given to every detail. Easy access to the centre of Bruges but sitting just outside so easy to get in and out. Everything was superbly organised. The room was simply perfect from the design all the way to the comfort of it. Our host was very welcoming and helpful and breakfast was amazing. Thanks for a fantastic stay :)

"Fawlty Towers" experience in Bruges

Very tastefully renovated building, great attention to details, comfortable beds, high quality materials. (we did not have breakfast, so cannot comment on it).

We booked this hotel for 1 night to relax and de-stress after a very stressful couple of weeks. We paid € 278 for our stay in a "presidential" suite, expecting that for that price we would receive a premium service. Unfortunately this did not happen. -> Check-in time is strictly between 4 PM and 6 PM. Prior to our arrival we received a very peculiar message from the hotel: "in case of check-in between 6 PM and 7 PM a supplement of € 75 would be charged, in case of check-in between 7 PM and 8 PM a supplement of € 150. No check-in is possible after 8 PM." This was not a problem for us, but can be for other guests, who would need to align their agenda with that of the hotel. -> Hotel is located on the internal ring road of Brugge, and that's what you see through the windows. -> It takes a good 20-30 min walk to get to the central square of Brugge. Because of the road works it is not the most exciting of walks. -> WiFi did not work. We tried several times scanning QR code provided in the room, but had to give up at the end. The staff disappeared after checking us in. -> In the morning I felt sick and needed some water. My partner took a bottle of sparkling water from the "honesty bar" on our floor. The drinks from the bar were to be recorded on a form, which would be left in the room after departure. We did this assuming that the credit card with which the room was paid would be charged for the water. At the time of check-out we were not asked whether there were any extras. However, hotel contacted Booking.com with a "damage claim" for € 2,5 next day after our departure. -> Drinks that you see on the photos of the lounge area are for "decoration" only. -> Eating in the room is forbidden for "hygiene" reason, therefore no fridge and no water in the room.

The beds were slightly harder than we prefer, room was a bit stuffy and was on the street side so unable to keep windows open. Not a fan of Nespresso machines but understand that others may like them.

Loved the vibe it gave for me and my partner

My partner and I spent 3 nights here and it was a very romantic experience. Exactly as shown in the photos, the room had an amazing design. There was a lot of space in the bathroom and the bed was very comfortable. Compared to more formal gestures from standard accommodations, the lady who helped us felt more like a personal gesture, which we appreciated.

It was a little far from the main area, so we would have to walk about 30 minutes every day, which wasn't a problem for me personally, but can be an issue for others. The air conditioning isn't very powerful, especially in the summer. The absence of a kettle, as well as a fridge, was not a major concern, but we did need one for a specific reason.
