Magic in central Bruges

Fantastic location, couldn't really be better. A couple of minutes from the Grote Markt but in a quiet side street. So much food provided (cheese, meat, eggs, bread, yogurts, fruit, coffee, tea ...) The house was beautifully kept, so historic and characterful, and particularly lovely with Christmas tree and fairy lights everywhere. There was plenty of room for our family of 5, with a really cool, big room at the top of the house complete with sofa and huge TV; then another double room on the middle floor. We loved the little sitting room on the ground floor, and of course the huge kitchen. It was too cold to use the cute little enclosed patio, but that's a lovely touch. Finally, it was great to meet Igor and Anna - such lovely and gracious hosts.

There didn't seem to be a hairdryer (unless we just couldn't find it!). There is one shower room, plus two toilets, which was absolutely fine, but may be an issue for some large groups.

Very cute house in central area with wonderul self-served breakfast.

very cute place, as pictured. Wonderful apartment and attentive owners. Very close to square without too much street noise. Had a WII nintendo upstairs for the kids to play which was a big hit and fun.

The Booking.com descriptions states it is a served breakfast with pictures of cooked meals - this is NOT the case. The hosts are generous however with stocking the fridge with a variety of breakfast options like meats/chesses/yogurts/crepes/eggs for your self-service. Was also suprised to find a 10 euro laundry charge for the washer, which we found unusual and excessive as we had never had a laundry charge before anywhere with an in-unit laundry. Neither of these problems would have felt bad to us, except the ad seemed misleading on this website. Overall great place, and would happily stay again.

Group trip to Bruges

We had a lovely time at Old Bruges B&B. The accommodation was perfect for a group and we felt we had enough space not to be on top of eachother. We loved the self-serve breakfast, it had something for everyone and Igor and Anna catered for the vegan of the group too. The accommodation was so central, about 5 mins from the main square.

Absolutely wonderful beautiful Bruges

Everything! The comfy beds and clean bedrooms, the cool shower, all the food prepped for us, country kitchen, kids loved the Wii and the gorgeous homely feel. The best, best location in Bruge and we had so much fun shopping, sightseeing, bike riding , walking and doing a chocolate making workshop. So much fun and we didn’t want to leave even after 3 nights. Highly recommend. Great for a family.

Fantastic historic gem off a quiet side street in the heart of Bruges

A beautiful, three story, authentic old home in the heart of Bruges. Just a few hundred yards from the main market, but on a quiet side street so you wouldn’t know. Igor and Anna provided more food than we could begin to eat for breakfast. They were fantastic hosts. We loved eating in their little covered outdoor courtyard. Just a wonderful property!

A perfect place to stay in the center of Bruges!

We had a very pleasant stay in Bruges. The host was friendly and welcoming, the fridge was generously stocked, and there were plenty of games, comics, and a Wii to keep the kids entertained. I myself enjoyed a couple of hours of Tintin too! And what a perfect location—on a quiet street, but near the main square. My third time in Bruges and by far the best!

Amazing location, charming house!

The location can’t be beat. In 1 minute you can reach restaurants, stores, squares. The house was large enough for my family of 6. The breakfast was absolutely fantastic, Igor provided everything you could think of and more! The house had a lot of charm, was clean, and had plenty of towels, etc.

We had such an enjoyable stay at this property! When we arrived, Anna (the owner) welcomed us immediately. She was so kind, helpful, and patient as she answered all of our questions. She also prepared breakfast foods for us, including charcuterie platters, fruit, yogurt, bread, and eggs, which she left nicely set up in the kitchen. The beds were clean and tidily set up, along with a set of a face towel, body towel, and washcloth placed on each bed. More than enough amenities were provided as well in the shower and bathroom. There were many games for children to play on the top floor to stay occupied. This BNB was also very close to the town center, making it a fast walk to all of the activities. We also appreciated Anna’s recommendations, which she left on a bulletin board in the kitchen. Overall, we had an amazing stay due to the cleanliness, food, and Anna’s hospitality.

Fantastic stay in an updated house in great location to walk Bruges

Igor tailored our walking tour as requested for small kids (not too much walking) on the evening of our arrival. Breakfast foods were great: cold meats, cheeses, fresh bread, fruit and cereals all ready to eat. The unit also had eggs, bacon and sausage with pans and a great gas stove to cook hot food. We had Nespresso pods for coffee and tea also available. All of central Bruges is within short walking distance as you're right in the heart of town. Plenty of restaurants and sightseeing nearby. We even stopped back at the house during the day for short breaks/snacks mid-day. Rooms/beds were comfy. Shower was very nice (spacious rainfall-style with good temperature/pressure). Kitchen has very good appliances and adequate cookware.

These notes are NOT negatives, but things to be aware of: This is not a full service B&B. You have the house to yourselves with platters prepared and plenty of options to prepare yourselves breakfast. Cleanup is simple with the dishwasher. The garage down the street will fit most cars - but not our large American minivan. We were easily able to park in a city car park just a few minutes walk away.

A fabulous place to stay in Bruges

Igor and Anna’s house is beautifully furnished and couldn’t be better located. The beds were very comfortable. The breakfasts were delicious and thoughtfully adapted to our diet. We really appreciated the Christmas tree and decorations which made it an extra-special Christmas stay.

A beautiful property in the heart of Bruges. Igor and Anna were there to greet us an to answer any questions we had. The breakfast they left for us was exceptional.

One night in Bruge

Great, stylish kitchen with everything you need for breakfast and even cooking, if u prefered this, especially the sink looks really cool and fits well into the design of the apartment. We were 7 people and the apartment offered plenty of space for sleeping. There are two toilets, a great shower and the blankets smelled very good, also the beds are very comfortable. The hosts even allowed us to deposit our luggage already before the actual check-in time, so we could already start exploring the city, which we much appreciated

Above and Beyond- can only recommend this place!

We were a group of 6 friends who attended a wedding in Brugge. Its difficult to find a place that accommodates that many people. This place felt more like a home then an apartment. The hosts were the loveliest people and welcomed us with such kindness! The cheese and meat board they prepared was above and beyond. Can’t recommend this place enough- a truly beautiful holiday home.

Great location and charm

Amazing location. Friendly, helpful hosts. Spacious and charming with games for kids (all ages) and many other amenities we didn’t use! Plentiful breakfast selection. Parking available (super tight for a Tiguan but doable).

Second set of steps narrow. We almost had a few falls. In retrospect, we’d ask for lower, fluffier pillows, decaf coffee/tea, and local pastries/waffles for breakfast instead of loaves of bread. :)
