Great place - would come again

Nice, family owned hotel (per the owner, for three generations), completely refurbished. The staff was incredibly nice and welcoming. Great breakfasts. Garden available with animals to watch (was it doe?), can be great for children. Wonderful retreat from city rush - though close to the seaside or Brugge. Would come again.

Quiet location; Large room; Large selection of drinks (honor system); Very friendly staff; Very clean; Easy parking, ... Special note: I arrived later than originally planned, while the reception was closed. The hotel had prepared a written note for me explaining everything I needed to know and, most of all, they did so in the language used where I live. First time ever that I see that - esp. in Belgium, with its history of language "wars". :-)

Perfect

It was perfect, super kids friendly and we really felt at home. The staff is super nice and room very clean and spacious, very comfortable beds! Highly recommended for families with little kids, we will probably go back very soon for a comfortable little break!

excellent having the pool outside the room and the kitchen facilities were an added bonus, the room was basic, but comfortable and the welcome was very warm and friendly. this is a great place for families

a kettle in the room would help with larger cups for tea etc, having to fully dress every time to get a coffee/ tea was inconvenient and also only a coffee machine available in the kitchen, so we had to fill the cup 3 times with enough hot water for a tea

Amazing hotel. Great facilities. Family friendly.

We loved absolutely everything about this place. Our 1 year old had the best time, exploring, swimming, visiting the animals and playing with the toys. The hotel and rooms are very clean and neat. Lovely staff members and delicious breakfast. We will definitely be back! Thank you

Modern & basic, yet with style. Very well kept with very friendly owners; excellent soap products, simple but good breakfast with healthy stuff - perfect for a night stay-over. Continuous access to good coffee machine; honesty bar concept at very reasonable prices

The room is confortable and spacious with a large balcony. You can tell the hotel used to be quite nice. 10 minute drive to Knokke-Heist.The staff is extremely friendly and the breakfast is basic but good.

The hotel has passed it's hayday. Some renovation or at least refreshing is needed.

Theraputic stay

loved the animals on site, so relaxing and therapeutic. very quiet and relaxing, had a good rest at night and lovely breakfast in the morning. very friendly staff and the host, welcoming atmosphere, nice view from the balcony.

may be some new towels could be great, as ours were falling apart in bits when dried ourselves.

Basic but fair

The hotel atmosphere is very relaxed and cozy. The stuff is very kind and helpful. There are many attractions for the children: a farm with animals (deers, bunnies etc.), a big trampoline, a big garden, toys and puzzles available. Breakfast was fair, there is a bit of everything. The room was very big and it accomodated our family of 4 and they even provided a baby cot.

The overall facility is dated. I didn't like the bathroom: the knob of the sink was broken, the bath had no glass or curtain so showering was very cumbersome. The toilet was separated by the bathroom and it was a real cubicle.

Breakfast was not special but ok. New pan for backing the eggs is necessairy.

Bed was old and needs to be replaced, overall the room needs to be refreched. Room was not cleaned proper, hair in the shower.

Room was filthy, the whole room smelled of sewerage. Went to draw the curtains and found an old pair of tights on the floor, this hotel was the worst i have ever booked through booking.com and it should be removed off your site, the images on your site resemble nothing to what they are, disgusting

perfect relaxing and calming. we were very well looked after

the access to the pool and sauna was a lovely aspect. the animal in the grounds was really calming. the location was also great. the owners really looked after us and organised vegan food for breakfast!

Wonderful place

Staff was incredible kind with us. The room is wonderful and it has an exit directly on a big green with some farm animals, my child was deligthed with this big fiels of grass jutws besides the terrace. The staff in the restaurant was also incredibly kind and they prepared what we asked specially for our child. The service is wonderful. We will repeat for sure.

Good position, very close to the sea side and city. Breakfast - decent. Room - pretty ok, pretty thin walls, clean room. Quite position, clean and nice pool, nice little animals, rabbits, dears, perfect for kids.

A little dated. Poor pillows on the beds and lack of duvets. Photos of room do not reflect all rooms. Bare wires in cupboards , loose plug sockets. Cracked shower tiles and stained.

Friendly staff, spacious room, nice view, quiet place. Trust in the guests ("take anything from the bar, just sign up and pay in the morning").

Some of the equipment needs replacement, small changes, like coffee maker, not super important.

Een ontzettende leuke relaxte plek voor ouders met kleine kindjes of op doorreis .

De eigenaren waren echt super vriendelijk en het was ontzettend schoon. Onze hond mocht overal komen , ook in de ontbijt ruimte , wat erg fijn was. Kamer was ruim en er zat een verdieping op voor onze zoon . In de zomer kan je buiten zitten in de gezellige tuin vol met lampjes en gezelligheid. Er is een zwembad en een speeltuin voor de kleintjes.

Er zit helaas geen douche deur/gordijn dus er kwam best veel water buiten de douchebak terecht.
