Everything about this hotel is exceptional. The room, the location, the staff, the food, the beautiful garden and the atmosphere, absolutely everything. What makes it truly magical is the feeling throughout the hotel, especially in the evening. The beautiful lights, the candles glowing around the garden and the music playing throughout the property create an atmosphere that is difficult to describe. From jazz and classical music to beautiful Arabic music, every sound seems to perfectly match the surroundings and the moment. There is something special everywhere you go. The garden, the lighting, the candles, the music and the incredible attention to detail make you feel like you are living in a dream. Without a doubt, one of the most amazing and finest hotels we have ever stayed in. A truly magical and unforgettable place. We will definitely come back.

Absolutely beautiful property!! It’s a true oasis and the service was exceptional. Breakfast on the patio is a must! Our stay at The Notary was a highlight of our European trip through Paris, Amsterdam Bruges and Brussels.

Everything was wonderful! The only suggestion I would make is perhaps more room for luggage and storage for clothing in the bedrooms, rather than the excessive decor.

Very friendly reception and delicious food

Our bedroom was overcrowded with too much furniture for the size of the room . Surfaces were cluttered with ornaments and chairs were filled with too many cushions. Not enough lighting especially in bathroom. No proper bed side cabinet. The toilet seat was the oldest toilet seat I have ever encountered. A shame we were probably in the worst room as some looked less overdone, but even so it wasn’t appropriate for a hotel room.
