Sadly this Hotel did not meet our expectations other then the convenience of location. Lovely first

The location

Very cold room on arrival. A very odd situation, we misplaced 100 euros in cash in our room and when we asked the staff at reception they gave us the cash with absolutely no explanation as to why it was ever removed from our room in the first place. The room was very small and claustrophobic with an awkward ceiling that caused us to bump our heads on more then one occasion. Our breakfast on both mornings was cold and their were hardly any other guests in sight so not much of an atmosphere. We won’t be returning unfortunately

Perfect few days in Bruge

The Hotel Navarra was amazing! Building itself was beautiful. Centrally situated to all bars and restaurants. Has its own car park. Our room was fabulous. Bed very comfortable and slept well. Breakfast was great lots of choice. Jazz Bar was very good and the bar men were very nice and informative of all the drinks they serve.

Everything esp the bar area ! The bartender, he was superb !! Personally remembered us from previous visits and was super friendly and attentive . Best Irish coffee ever!

Very nice hotel and location, staff somewhat lacking

Location was excellent. Hotel very nice. Room itself was small but nice. Only real problem was it was a somewhat tight fit to get 2 suitcases to fit on the floor. Hotel has an elevator and parking, rooms are air conditioned. Has a nice breakfast available for a fee.

Front desk staff polite but seemed to offer as little as possible. Felt like I had to keep asking questions to get info that most hotel staff offer routinely, ie marking a map (that I had to ask for) with the location of the hotel, giving breakfast location and hours, telling us we needed a token (only available at same front desk) to get out of the parking lot.

Lovely stay right at the heart of Bruges!

The location was perfect, right in town and just a five minute walk from the main square. Despite being in the middle of town there was no noise to be heard overnight which was great! The staff were very friendly and housekeeping did a great job every day we were there as well. Good size room, we didn’t use the sauna or pool but we did pop down and have a look and they were very nice as well.

If I’m being picky then the room is ever so slightly dated, but not enough to be a detriment. The lift is also very small but we never had to share it with anyone else during our stay, so it wasn’t a real issue

A very enjoyable stay overall. We would use the Hotel Navarra again if we ever we return to Brugge.

The location is excellent with just a three minute walk into the Market in the centre of Brugge. The hotel staff were friendly, polite and helpful. Our room was a reasonable size and the bathroom had a spacious walk-in shower. The bed was comfortable and the A/C was easy to control. The bar manager was very welcoming and there was a lovely garden to sit in with your drink in the late afternoon sunshine. The breakfast seemed slightly over-priced at 25 euros each, but there was a very good selection and we spent as much eating elsewhere for breakfast at cafes/restaurants around The Market.

One minor thing but worth mentioning. There was a very low cross-beam in our room on the third floor which you could easily catch your head on if you weren't concentrating going in or out of the bathroom.

This is the second time we have stayed at this hotel, 2 minute walk from the main square. The staff are lovely, nice to come back to the piano bar after a day exploring Brugge. The breakfast is great.

Fantastic hotel near the centre

The hotel is in easy walking distance of the main square. A lovely clean and comfortable hotel. The bed was one of the best I have experienced in the world of hotels. The staff were friendly and informative. The room was a good size as was the bathroom. When returning to bruge we will definitely return to hotel navarra.

Spacious Bruges hotel. Close to the historic sites

Loved the charming personality of the Hotel. A great location near Markt Square - we found a great Indian restaurant, coffee place, chocolates, and more and less than a five minute walk. The room was comfortable and spacious. There was a pool and workout room in the lower level The pool is an indoor grotto style pool. it was nice. The water was cool after a warm day walking around.

As with many older European hotel properties, there are often a few stairs that you have to navigate between the elevator and your room, and Hotel Navarra had six steps on the second floor between the elevator and our room. I say this, not as a criticism, but just a heads up for those who are older and can’t do stairs- as a reminder to ask questions before you book. The same was true for the pool and workout room rooms. You had to go down a flight of stone steps from the lobby. It would’ve been great to have an elevator.
