The property was so beautiful, wonderful welcome, spotlessly clean, perfect location within a 5 minute walk of restaurants and central square. Amazing breakfast and lovely cakes that were left for us everyday. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. We loved our open fire with plenty of logs to burn in the evening, so cosy.

Excellent B&B in central Bruges

Fantastic location with views over the canal. Our room was immaculately clean, warm and cosy. We had access to a terrace sitting beside the canal. The staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious with plenty available to keep us going when walking around Bruges. The chocolates, beer and pieces of cake that appeared on our return to the room where a nice touch The place was very quiet so didn't get disturbed by the staff or other guests, which surprised me as we were on a lower level. I would happily stay here again and am happy to recommend to others.

A very comfortable room with a terrific breakfast!

A beautiful 15th century remodeled room! You do need to climb stairs but it is well worth it! It has a separate sleeping area and a separate seating area. The toilet and sink are separate from the shower and sink. The breakfasts were amazing. Very close to all the beautiful buildings in town.

Wonderful stay.

Everything was perfect, our host and the lovely ladies that looked after us at breakfast and kept our rooms clean and tidy. It made it our best Christmas. The room was warm and high quality throughout, we felt at home.

Stunning room & stay in general! Lovely breakfast which had different things each day on offer. Our room was so perfect for Bruges with lovely little touches. Hosts were great, and can not recommend enough!

Perfect characterful accommodation

All round, the accommodation was perfect. Our room was very large with an excellent bathroom, great bed, view of the canal, a log fire and access to the terrace. We stayed here with our dog and everything was perfect for her. Breakfast was a real highlight each day and the little touches like beers on arrival and fresh cakes each day were really appreciated alongside the very friendly and helpful staff. The overall character of the B&B fits the city so well. We really couldn’t recommend this place enough and can’t imagine there is better accommodation in Brugge.

Our experience at Canal Delux was nigh-on perfect! From check-in to rooms, breakfast, location and facilities. We could’t recommend Luke and his staff (especially Peri) highly enough, they were so kind and attentive. Thank you for a lovely stay!

Heaven!

The most gorgeous, gorgeous hotel/rooms, the decor was beautiful, the bed so comfy, gorgeous linen, lovely features (fireplace! Stunning!) in the most perfect location so close to everything. Breakfast was delicious every day, with lots of different options and daily changes, all served in a beautiful orangery. Our rooms were kept perfectly clean and it was such a treat having something sweet left for us every day.

There are building works taking place opposite and work started at 7.30 every morning and it was so loud, really tricky to get anything like a lie in!

Our stay, with Peri and Anna smiling and helping us, was magical!

Peri took such good care of us for the first two days, and then Anna took over with the same kind of helpfulness for our last day. We felt so welcome at all times. Our large room was a dream with our own terrace and a larger terrace on the canal just a few steps down. Breakfasts were amazing too, and Peri brought delicious little cakes to our room every day. We were just a few minutes walk to everything important to us, and our time in Brugge was special indeed. Yes, it was the location, the room, the breakfasts, but the care and attention we received were just as important.

Lovely place in a delightful city

Lovely B&B right on the canal. Easy, short walk into town. Wonderful breakfast with a delightful hostess. Really large room with comfy bed.

The room we got was upstairs, so beware if you can't climb stairs. As always in Europe (and most hotels these days) the beds are covered with heavy duvets, which are really too hot to sleep under unless you turn the A/C down to Arctic Freeze. They tried to find us blankets to replace them, but they really don't have blankets. I expect that will change, because they really were accomodating.

A truly delightful visit.

Everything!! The room was unique and romantic and well appointed. The location was just a block or two off the square. The breakfasts were superb and the staff left little treats in our room to celebrate our anniversary. We even had access to a patio on the canal. They made it so special. Friendly, charming and so wonderful.

Charming classic cottage in the perfect location, with an exceptional staff. Five Stars!

What a beautiful, warm, comfortable Inn. Rustic class. Ambiance! Great location only minutes from the heart of old-town Brugge. The staff was wonderful. We felt so welcomed. Delicious huge breakfasts and even a special pre-packed breakfast for our early departure put the bow on the package.

Bijou Bruges at its best

A thoughtfully furnished compartment, across a garden courtyard and overlooking a canal, in which delicious little cakes sometimes appeared. Underfloor heating and extremely comfortable bed. Delicious breakfast and wonderfully friendly, very helpful staff

We’re getting old so a two storey steep spiral stair trip from bedroom to basement bathroom required concentration, but our host had warned us- and the house was so lovely, I’m not complaining!

Luxurious, relaxing with delightful food.

Quirky, clean and comfortable. Huge bathroom, comfortable bed and terrace next to the canal. Peri the house keeper was so helpful and friendly. Breakfasts were delicious and there was so much choice served with a smile by Peri. Will definitely be back.

Quaint canal stay

This was such a quaint property overlooking the canal; close to the center of town but not in the middle of the crowds. Breakfast was delicious in a cozy room. Everything struck the perfect balance of historical charm and modern luxury. Bed was so comfortable I didn't want to get out of it. The host was very helpful with restaurant recommendations.

Nothing could be improved. The stairs to our room were steep so be forewarned if you need to carry luggage up and down.

Wonderful stay in a historic house, very convenient for all the sites

It was a very special experience to stay in a 17th century cottage overlooking a small canal, with a very comfortable bed and great en suite bathroom. Good underfloor heating downstairs and air conditioning in the upstairs bedroom. We had lovely warm weather so that we did not need to light the wonderful open fire in the living room. The staff Peri and Anna were really lovely and welcoming, providing a special fresh breakfast each day. The location is perfect for all of the main sites in Bruges.

Stunning property & views in Bruges

Our room was beautiful, very conveniently situated close to the centre but in a quiet street. We overlooked the lovely canal both from our living area & upstairs bedroom, also having windows overlooking the quiet garden space. Breakfast was outstanding and they catered well to GF needs. The owner and staff were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble.

Lots of nice things to say but wouldn’t stay here again.

The location is great and it’s easy to see why they’ve gotten such good reviews as they have put much effort to make the stay as comfortable as possible. The breakfast is good.

We were forewarned about the three levels. We are good with stairs and typically choose stairs to get a good view. These stairs have no handrail going into the bottom level and could be dangerous. The only water source (faucet and bathtub) are on the bottom level so very inconvenient to get a drink of water, make coffee, go to the bathroom. Mentioned an egg allergy on arrival and no effort to accommodate. That’s not a big deal but it is unusual in a b&b. Would not stay here again and cannot recommend to others although they have put much effort. This is a difficult review.

Breakfast was exquisite. Peri was very helpful and friendly. Left us little surprise treats to come back to each evening which was a lovely touch. Enjoyed the view overlooking the canal and the breakfast walled garden was a lovely way to start the day.

We booked the 2 x double bed room, which was still lovely but doesn't have the fireplace that you see in the photos of the other rooms. So that was just a little disappointing but the room was still very sweet. One of the double beds is smaller and tucked into a recess so you have to clamber up on to it, a bit like going into a cave......my daughter loved it but might not suit older person.

Perfect comfy cottage

The cottage is super cosy. We enjoyed the terrace at the canal and the attention to detail like bottled drinking water and essentials like a knife and candles. Present staff is exceptionally helpful and friendly too. We didn’t make it to breakfast one day and the lady later knocked on the door to bring us some cake. Breakfast was also very fresh and good.

We would definitely recommend this place

A fantastic location on the canal. The room was accessed by a small enclosed garden and we had a downstairs sitting room with a fireplace, tea/coffee making facilities and a small fridge. Upstairs was an airy bedroom with bathrobes and slippers and a little basket thoughtfully stocked with toiletry items you might have forgotten. The kingsize bed was comfortable and had bedside cabinets. The ensuite was quite small but it had a very good shower and lovely towels and bathroom products. Breakfast was served in a separate building close by where there was a lovely bright and well appointed dining room. Breakfast was absolutely excellent with a great selection of fruit, yogurt, granola, bacon, eggs, small savoury bites, baked apples, freshly baked breads, coffee and tea- delicious!

Home comfort and coziness, an atmosphere of peace and quiet

It was a great stay in a great place! I am extremely demanding about cleanliness, service and various little things. But I had no complaints about this place. Most often I give a rating of - units. But this place surprised me in a good way and 10 points is a well-deserved rating. The location is worth mentioning separately. This is a wonderful, picturesque, postcard view of the canal surface, which can be enjoyed both from the window and from the terrace on the lower floor. In general, everything was very cozy and homely. With good service and high-quality, varied breakfasts (buffet).

Beautiful Bruges building very tastefully decorated, a few minutes walk from all the sights. The staff were super friendly and accommodating. Excellent breakfast.

It was an experience in itself!

Our cottage was absolutely beautiful…originally built in the 11th century. We enjoyed the fireplace, the garden and the scrumptious (as well as beautiful) breakfasts. Everyone was so pleasant and helpful. We felt appreciated and special. We had to scramble the night before we left and reroute our trip due to a strike at the airport. Tina stopped what she was doing to help us find a new way to our destination and then booked our tickets when she was trying to get to a meeting. Brugge is a must visit location and B&B Canal is definitely special.

Perfect romantic place in Bruges, go visit it!

This place is a gem … We stayed in this cozy cottage and it was a dream. From the sitting room with a fireplace that we lit up every night, the bedroom in the upper floor and the small private patio on the canal. Breakfasts heavenly prepared by Peri. Both she and Tine - such wonderful friendly hosts. Thanks for making our 30th Anniversary breakfast so special. A place to return too, I bet in winter it will be a great place to stay after visiting the Xmas markets.

We stayed 3 nights. Relaxing B&B in a canal setting less than a 10 minute walk to the main square of Bruges. Exceptional, helpful staff & nice decor. The bed and pillows were comfortable and we appreciated the drinks provided in the mini bar on arrival as well as the sweet treats left daily in our room. Breakfast consisted of home-made extras adding variety.
