We were moved to the Maraboe Hotel as Golden Tree Hotel cancelled us

Very quiet, disappointing breakfast, cups in our room weren’t washed up, no new towels, staff were not friendly. The sauna entrance area was very dirty, locked and cost extra to use .

We would recommend this hotel for sure. Good price, great location, clean and good breakfast.

Lovely hotel, nicely decorated, great location, tasty breakfast, friendly staff, hot shower, fairly priced.

Room was too hot, cleaner kept turning radiators up! Pillows not comfortable, would recommend changing them or providing softer alternatives.

Can definitely do better!

The property looks nice from the outside and as you make your way into the property it was very nicely decorated. The location is perfectly located in relation to the city centre and right next to a huge high quality underground parking which costs (€16.50 per 24 hrs). The staff were friendly and breakfast pretty good. Property very warm.

The room was much smaller than I expected and very little space for clothes and luggage...the lights were intermittent (a loose connection I think) walls thin and can hear the neighbouring guests. In general the room felt a bit old and worn. Lots of notices saying no eating in the room and no fridge for keeping drinks/water cold. Toiletries very poor. Kettle and cups available...with coffee and tea but no sugar, milk or spoons/stirrers.

Decent 3 star, but bad value for money at december rates.

Breakfast was pretty basic but okay. Breakfast area was nice and quiet. The room was also spacious.

They knew we would come by car 2 months in advance and didnt reserve a parking spot in their garage for us. Led to much logistical hassle. Also, they had us prepay the whole stay in advance.

Christmas Market in Bruges

Everything was perfect. Location was great, just a 10 minute walk to the centre of Bruges. The Hotel is lovely,with many original features and our room was spotless and looked like it had been newly renovated. The breakfast room was very pleasant, as was the breakfast, with a good selection of continental items. Staff were helpful and efficient.

Amazing staff and a perfect location with surprisingly large rooms.

The room was quite large, which made it feel comfortable and relaxing. The location was perfect—just a short walk to the city center and major attractions. The price was excellent for the area, and the staff were unbelievably kind and helpful throughout my stay.

The bed could have been more comfortable. A better mattress would have made the experience even better. Still worth the stay.

Nice hotel, located close to train station and walkable to central Bruges

European breakfast was offered, good variety of breakfast items. Hot items were not available. Room was comfortable, except pillows were long pieces of rectangular foam stuffed in a decorative pillow. I couldn't use the pillows. Location of the hotel was just on the outskirts to the central part of Bruges.

The internet was weak and would freeze up viewing a short video. Pillows were 'cut rectangular foam' put in a decorative pillow case. They look attractive, but not to be used for resting, sleeping with.

great location, small and personal hotel, service oriented personnel

The location of the hotel in Brugges was very close to the city center, there were shops for groceries nearby as well as bars and restaurants. For people with dogs there was a park around the canal 250 meters away.

Although we had announced that we had a gluten intolerance through booking, somehow that didn’t get written down for our first breakfast there, however, the employee tried to help as as quick as possible. The pillows on the bed were not meant for sleeping, the sleeping pillows were in the wardrobe, which we only discovered the day we were leaving.

Great location just a five minute walk into Brugge old town. The staff at the hotel tell were very friendly and helpful the hotel was nice and the facilities great.

Excellent location and family run hotel

Family of 4 staying in 2 rooms. Easy walk from station 10-15 mins. Good breakfast ( continental ) - plenty of cold choice plus eggs. Easy walk into centre, some excellent restaurants and bars a few mins walk away and a bit quieter than main square centre. Rooms clean and tidy. Only point to note is there is no air con, but there are fans provided. We did not use the gym but it is very well equipped.

Convenient location, but noisy and hot in summer.

Good location, close to the historic centre. We were happy to be able to park in one of the hotel garages, but at a cost! Dog friendly.

The room was extremely small and in a heatwave like a sauna. Also very noisy at night as it was directly on a main road and drivers seemed to race their cars throughout the night.

The square pillows. Window is right by the small back road so we couldn't leave the window slightly open. The road is only used by locals and we only encountered/saw 1 vehicle use it.

The Staffs are friendly and helpful. The location is about 10 mins away from the bus station and is a couple of mins away from the central market. There are many restaurants near the hotel 😊 The room is cleaned everyday.

Very clean, quiet charming place!

Cozy gabled room and quiet and we slept great there! RIght on the main square so was perfect for market day - it was right outside the front door! Also a short walk from train station, no need for cab or bus or taxi unless you are challenged physically

Great value for money!

Great value for money on the edge of the old town. Really comfortable beds, big bathroom, and enough room for the three of us. Probably the best continental breakfast we've ever had - plenty of choice and delicious pastries! Good check-in with clear access information, WiFi, etc. Amanda was really helpful and accommodating. There is also space for storing luggage for a few hours once you've checked out, which was really nice.

In our room, the shower needs a new seal/door, as water ends up all over the floor and doesn't drain very well. Also, while there were tea and coffee making facilities, there were no stir sticks or sugar/sugar substitutes to make it with.
