Our experience at Aragon House was marred by a bed bug infestation. After my daughter developed itchy welts, we discovered bed bugs in our room and alerted the front desk, who confirmed the issue and moved us. Despite this, management refused a full refund, insisting we brought the bugs from Paris and blaming us for not notifying them sooner or using housekeeping. Their response was dismissive and unsympathetic. Research revealed past complaints about bed bugs and similar treatment. Although our clothing was washed, items like suitcases were not, yet the bites stopped after leaving Aragon House. A specialist later found no trace of bed bugs among our belongings. I write this as a warning: if you’re visiting Brugges, consider staying elsewhere.

Nothing was too much for the staff at this hotel. They were so helpful and polite. The hotel was spotless and really well cleaned. Breakfast was set out really nicely and there was a good range of food on offer. The hotel is located in a convenient position and it is was to walk into the centre of the city.

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. It is a quick cab ride away from the train station at about 12euro. The room was very clean and it has a mini fridge, coffee maker, and a decent blow dryer. The city center is a less than 5 minute walk. There are many restaurants nearby. The breakfast was very good with a large variety of foods. The staff was helpful in giving us suggestions and ordering cabs etc. It was a safe, clean hotel.

I can't recommend this property enough! The location was fantastic, the rooms were spacious and clean, the communication with staff was excellent. We had the family apartment, which was technically two rooms, it worked out perfectly for what we needed. Hopefully I'll make it back to Bruges one day, and I will absolutely be staying here again.

We've been to Bruges many times, but this was our first time staying at Aragon. In short, we loved it. Great location, great room, great elevator, friendly and helpful staff. We'll definitely stay here again on our next trip to beautiful Bruges.

Although the hotel at first seemed to fit the star rating and Price level it has severe issues: - You Can hear Doors in hallway on all floors being opened and closed (slams), which Wakes the light sleepers all night (this is increddible annoying). - No clean up service in the 3 nights we stayed there - sometimes a strange sewage smell in room. - No option for breakfast ( might be Corona related)

Second year of going to the Aragon still a great place to stay if you are going to Bruges, just a short walk from markt, staff are really good and friendly and speak excellent English. The rooms and beds are comfortable, breakfast is all you could want from a continental breakfast, there is also some cooked food like scrambled eggs, beans, mushrooms and sausages

Excellent stay at an outstanding hotel! My parents said the breakfast was the best hotel breakfast they have ever had and especially the coffee. If you are driving, contact the hotel as soon as you book to request a parking space, which costed 15 Euro per day. There are only a few spaces available. There is a public parking garage (Bierkoff) right next to the hotel but it was full when we arrived on a Saturday evening and I had to use a parking area 10 minutes walking distance away.
