Quiet location off the beaten track. Excellent restaurant and good breakfast.
Would be nice to have a fridge in the room considering the hot weather this summer.

The location and grounds were very attractive with well maintained gardens and lawn running down to the lake. A very picturesque setting. With good weather we were able to sit out on the patio for dinner in the restaurant enjoying the scenery. The evening meal was good and staff attentive. Breakfast the next morning was also very good. Plenty of parking in the hotel car park out in the front close to the entrance.
Not much. A wobbly plug socket but reception noted this for maintenance to sort out.

The location and setting of the hotel is excellent. The restaurant is also always very good. The cocktail mixer (Leah) was superb.
The rooms are really tired. I was given a 3 bed family room. Firstly the door handle for the fire door on the corridor came off in my hand. The room was old and tired. The WC light was temperamental going on and off all the time. I was ultimately given two double rooms, but whilst they were more modern, the lights turned on by themselves in the night.
