Great for value

Booked here because of the location. 5mins walk from the train station, 10mins walk to the old town. Worth the money, suitable for solo travelers. Downstairs are all the food places.

Convenient hotel near Strasbourg railway station

Very convenient for the railway station and just a short walk into the centre. Real loose leaf tea was available at breakfast and a pot to make it in!

No waste bin in the room, just a small one in the bathroom. The body wash in the shower was too high for me to reach comfortably - we aren’t all six feet tall! Door stop on the bathroom floor right in front of the washbasin - a hazard for stubbing toes! Plastic mattress topper made sleeping uncomfortably hot.

Good for a night but compared to ibis styles I have stayed in before it wasn’t great

Breakfast was good and also the availability of coffee and tea at evening hours. Great to have access to a fruit bowl and fresh popcorn/ snacks.

The room was very small and almost impossible to walk into or turnaround In front of the door in the corridor were paintings stored and the cleaning wagon It seemed like all things were hidden away in that part of the hotel The bed was not really comfortable

The property was well maintained, close to the station and offered great complimentary amenities such as cold water, tea & coffee and small snacks. There was even aircon in the room which is usually unheard of in Europe! The breakfast was fantastic and the staff were very polite and welcoming.

Everything was great. Only little improvement would be to have a hook in the bathroom to hang the hand towel. Other than that, we loved everything.

We loved the location of the property, within walking distance of the train station and all amenities. The breakfast selection was great, the candies, popcorn, tea and coffee that you could help yourself to all day long was a fantastic and fun little addition. For what you got, it was a great price.

The smell of our room, the carpet smelt really bad and was full of stains, but we looked past that, sprayed a bit of deodorant around the room and opened up the window. It definitely needs replacing very soon. The bed was clean and comfy and the bathroom was clean. Our kettle didn’t work in the socket that it was plugged into, but we changed sockets. The fridge and safe were great to have in the room.

Hotel under renovation

Hotel is close to train station Room was clean

We wanted to have a lie-in but we were woken up by builders. They had decided to renovate the adjacent rooms at 8am! So noisy! we went for breakfast and came back to relax in room before our train but were disturbed by people wanting our room cleared (despite it being 9:30 and check-out at 12:00!). We told the receptionist we were not happy and they just responded ‘we are under renovation’. We had not been told prior to our stay, nor when we arrived that there would be renovation. The room is not very functional - nowhere to hang towels, no shower curtain to stop shower getting water everywhere etc…
