Wonderful relaxing weekend in the forest, with excellent food and spa
We booked half board for two nights, so we had breakfast, together with a meal in the evening. The food was excellent. Breakfast was wonderful, so abundant - very varied, and homemade, with fresh juices, cereals, nuts, fruits, hot beverages, sparkling wine, scrambled eggs and omlettes, different sorts of cheeses and cold cuts, salmon and other fish ecc... The evening meal was just as excellent. Very good food, wine and desserts. The rooms were very clean and spacious, with a balcony, the spa was lovely. A wonderful hotel, with very friendly personnel, I certainly hope to return!!.
The electric veranda shutters in the room need some maintenance, as they do not open freely but have to be pushed up manually. One of the lampshades had an electricity connection problem, as the light bulb was not working. The pool was wonderful, but the water a little too cold. It was clean, but could have been cleaner.

Not for families, rude owner.
It is renovated (however, the style elements from the 70s are still there here and there, so looks more stylish on photos than in reality). Food was nice.
- The hotel advertises on its website (and also on the map on arrival) a kids’ playground, which simply just does not exist. Considering that the spa can be used by kids under 16 only until 3 pm (which is in reality noonish, if you count in noon naps), I asked about activities for kids. I was repeatedly told that the spa closes for kids at 3 pm. When I mentioned that it is more than clear what we cannot do, the owner lady suggested the “beach bar” (coctail bar with a dirty 2*5 meter sand strip, with wooden chairs falling apart), or we can go for hikes (with 2 and 4 years old kids not very tempting) or stay in the room. Ultimately she said that we just should not go to wellness hotels and cut off the conversation on why a playground is advertised and family rooms are available then, if this is her view in families and kids. - While we paid for halfboard, the kids were charged extra for dinner at checkout. A few hours they called back and offered to pay back the difference, which is good of course, however, never experienced such thing in European hotels before. - The pool is small (good for kids though…) and cold. - Spiderwebs and bugs here and there, the sand of the “beachclub” is really dirty though.
