Excellent for Christmas Marker adventure

It's a small town, and this hotel is located just outside the center with all the Christmas markets. We found that to be better than being in the middle of the chaos. This hotel is located right across the street from the train station as well. The rooms were a decent size, but the showers were a bit too small for someone standing at just over 190cm (6'2).

Great location opposite the train station

Friendly staff, great location near town centre and across from the railway station. Lots of choice at breakfast, ranging from eggs, salads, cereals, cheese and an unbelievable amount of cakes. Loved the free Vin Chaud for Christmas, the welcome cookies and filtered water in the lounge area.

Room was on the small side but we knew that when booking.

Great hotel with outstanding breakfast and location

Great location right by the station and easy walk to Petit France and old town. The breakfast was outstanding- so many lovely cakes and breads and lovely quiche - everything homemade. Staff very friendly. Lovely breakfast room. The bathroom was very very small but shower - once in was spacious and powerful but this didn’t bother us and we would definitely recommend.

We highly recommend this 4-star with great breakfast across from The Central Train Station.

This 4 star lived up to its high rating. The room and service were very good and comfortable. The breakfast was outstanding. The service personnel were wonderful and the location is brilliant especially as we took several day trips by train. We are veteran travelers and would happily stay here again.

The bathroom was very small and poorly designed. We kept banging into the walls and knocking down fixtures. It's a shames that the owners failed to do better with this feature of the property. I would have gladly sacrificed a few cubic centimeters of room space for a bit more bathroom space.

The bathroom was tiny and no real shelf space. My friend and I had separate rooms and the bathroom was tiny in her room too although she did have shelf space the bathroom door could have been better placed opening out..

Great hotel close to the station

The room was a very comfortable size for two people, and the shower had excellent water pressure. It’s very handy being just across from the train station, and it wasn’t loud at night. We enjoyed renting bikes from the front desk and riding them to a nearby park.

No major issues. It’s a bit of a walk to the main centre of town and petite France, but a great spot nonetheless.

Beautiful boutique hotel, just across from the station and a short stroll from Petite France. The rooms are small, but beautifully designed and comfortable. And the breakfast is amazing, with high quality, homemade, organic treats. You won't want to leave!

The rooms and the bathroom are well designed, but small. A larger person might struggle with the small shower, but otherwise they're beautifully executed and comfortable to sleep in.

Cool hotel in Strasbourg

Cool hotel, with the nicest staff. Breakfast was plentiful and a lovely selection. In a great location for transport, as its is across a square from train station, where you can also pick up trams and buses.

Wow!!! Lovely, modern boutique hotel with ECO ethos. Very friendly and helpful staff members who all took the time to speak to us. A very quiet, understated, modern vibe about the place. Close to train station and a short walk to everything else. Our room on the 3rd floor overlooked the station and had a lovely balcony. The room was modern and was a good size for a double. Super-comfy large bed. The air-con was AMAZING in 32°+ heat. Compact and bijou shower room with large double sized powerful shower.Amazing shower products too. Lovely public areas...bar, library, outdoor patio. All beautifully and tastefully decorated. The whole hotel was clean and well looked after. Breakfast was wonderful with all locally sourced and made in-house products. Lovely choice in the buffet. Gorgeous table settings and tableware. Still and sparkling water available on tap.

Perfect for train travelers

Well thought out, extremely helpful staff, location close to train station, comfortable bed, kettle provided in room, unlimited filtered water available on ground floor.

The only things I didn’t like were that the shower cabinet could only open about 45 cm (because of its position between the toilet and the basin) and the cardboard cups provided gave an unpleasant taste to water and hot drinks.

The breakfast is outstanding and the staffs are so beyond my expectation. They spoke very good English and so kind to give advice about Strasbourgh. It is impressive to got a bottle of Alsace wine and snacks as Christmas gift. Will come back next time definitely.

Excellent atmosphere, comfortable, very clean, super friendly staff

21 degrees in the bedroom and you can't regulate the temperature. In the end I had to ask for an electric heater.

Wouldn’t recommend it

Their attempts to seem modern and fresh. The property indeed didn’t look old, which was very nice. The location was good because the hotel is very close to the railway station. The breakfast was good and the quality of food was nice.

Here’s the list: 1. The size of the room and, especially, the bathroom — they are super tiny! The shower cabin is really more like a small wardrobe — I couldn’t relax in there because my elbows and head were in constant danger. 2. The colors — the room was all black and looked quite depressing. There was not enough light. 3. The staff. While checking in we were not told that before we come in the breakfast room in the morning it was compulsory to wait for someone to tell them the room number. When we went downstairs to have breakfast, we didn’t see anyone in front of the room and went straight to a free table, took the plates, chose some food, put the plates on the table we chose and went back to get some more food. When we got back to the table, one of the employees (no idea what her name is) literally scolded us for not respecting the procedure, took our plates from the table, made us wait until she prepares another table because ours was for some reason assigned to someone else.. that was utterly embarrassing and, I’m sure, I’d unacceptable. We were literally made to feel like we were criminals or something. But we didn’t know anything, and there was nobody to meet us and ask for the room number — if they were all busy, it’s not our problem, it only means that the hotel is understaffed.

Great location right next to Strasbourg train station. I had a nice view. Nice check out time of 12 PM. Will hold luggage, but I didn’t need it. Bed was extremely comfortable. Shower was hot and got hot quickly. It included a luggage stand.

The bathroom was small especially for American standards. I had trouble opening the door (opens to bathroom) while standing in front of sink/shower.

The breakfast is beautifully presented and with many choices of local sweet cakes. According to a super friendly staff (my bad not asked for his name) who greets us every morning at breakfast, all groceries used are eco and sourced locally. Nice touch with the water machine in the lobby to refill still and sparkling water at any time. The bathroom is on the smal sidel but well organized and very clean.

The location is very convenient if you travel by train. Otherwise it's always messy in the neighborhood where a train station is located...

I desire to bring my other daughters to stay at the Tandem Hotel to explore.

The hotel is convenient to the train and within walking distance to Strasbourg city center. I was alone and enjoyed my stay immensely. The staff was warm, accommodating and welcoming. The breakfast was so beautifully presented and delicious. I truly was at home away from home. Many thanks to the staff. The warmth was greatly appreciated and a gift.
