Excellently located near the city center, the hotel has everything you need for a short stay in Strasbourg. The hotel is located close to Petite France, and there are coffee places and restaurants nearby. Train station is only 10 minutes walking. The room was big enough for one person, with a comfy bed and the bathroom was recently renovated - although a bit stuffy. Heating and hot water were running all day. The staff was friendly and helpful.
Although breakfast provided was good, with delicious bread and fresh pastries, a bit of variety is to be recommended.

Great location, exceptional friendly staffs, value for money
Breakfast could have a little bit more variety, and great location comes with traffic noise in the early morning

The location was great. A five-minute walk was true enough, although luggage can prove difficult during the wintertime. We were fortunate to have our own balcony.
The check in time was really strict.

The location was great, walking distance to all the places we wanted to visit. The staff was super friendly and helpful as well.
There could have been more options for breakfast maybe

Location was right at Petite France. Very walkable to everything. The staff was very helpful and pleasant. Room was clean.
Very minimalistic and tight. If you have excess or large luggage not the place for you. No drawers for clothing or wardrobe closet. No safe for valuables, or refrigerators. Plastic chair in the room. Nothing was comfortable after lots of walking.

Location was great.

Very good location, walking distance to everything in the centre. Very clean, modest but sufficient breakfast, decent size of rooms. Purified wated available in the lobby with bottles in the rooms to be filled in.
Pillows are not comfortable. No air conditioning in the rooms (just a fan) - those were very hot days in Strasbourg so sleeping was difficult (even with open window and fan on).

Good location close to public transport and Petite France restaurant and attractions at our door step
Helpful staff, clean and tidy room. Nice breakfast
It was hot, no fan or air conditioning, we had to keep the window open and at night it was extremely noisy

The hotel was in a good location, only a short walk from the beautiful Strasbourg old town and equally short walk from the train station for travel/day trips.
The hotel staff didn't say a word after checking us in, it would have been nice for them to at least say hello when we walk past reception multiple times every day, to make us feel welcome.
Our room had a mould problem in the bathroom that had clearly been painted over to cover up, and it left a really strong bad smell from the entirety of the stay, so we had to keep the windows open to vent the room all day every day.
When we arrived in our room, the leaflets in the welcome pack had clearly had a child scribble all over them, and the water bottle was not filled up. The leaflet info for the TV channels was not up to date.
We were on the fourth floor of the hotel and the elevator broke on the first morning of our stay, meaning we had to walk up and down a narrow old spiral staircase that was exhausting- at least that was fixed later that day.
There was a drinks-making station crammed into the side of the reception with a kettle and some teabags available, but for some reason the hot drinks machine that is used every breakfast with nicer coffees and hot chocolates is not available for use during the day/in the evenings, which meant you were left with worse quality hot drinks.
Over all, considering we had paid hundreds of euros for just a short stay, we were disappointed with the hotel and it's clear the staff/management do not care about providing quality service.

Close to attraction points. Good breakfast
Credit card payment did not work. Receptionist could not send link for payment right away. External construction was ongoing. Noisy due to city tramway.

Breakfast and hotel location.
There was scaffolding for maintenance work on the exterior of the hotel building and we could not use the balcony, it was very dirty and left under construction. It should have been stated during the reservation that there was maintenance work. If we had known this, we would have booked another hotel.

The room was wonderfully clean and we had a view of a canal and church. Shopping and restaurants were within a reasonable walking distance and breakfast was absolutely wonderful. Everything I remember a European continental breakfasts should be. Just an FYI the only reason we took a taxi to the hotel from the train station was because it was pouring rain. When we left we walked and it was an easy 8 minute walk with luggage.

Location is excellent, rooms are spacious enough , bathroom is nice and with everything you need, and breakfast is nice with diversity with excellent coffee and freshly squeezed juice .
No air condition and no refrigerator in the room.

The petit dejeuner was quite satisfactory, with some surprising flourishes, especially the orange press and coffee machine. The room was far too warm when we entered, but with the windows open it became cool enough for sleep. Unfortunately, open windows meant lots of street noise.
Without a portable a/c unit, I would avoid booking a west-facing unit any later in the summer.

I booked the room for someone else and had to ask the hotel some questions. My questions were answered immediately .
The person who stayed in the hotel was very happy with the accommodation and said that for its class the hotel is a 10. The room was small as described, but just enough for a person who is there to explore the city and not to spend much time inside. The breakfast was plenty and tasty , including freshly pressed orange juice ( often not offered in other hotels) The person at the reception was friendly and helpful. The location was very convenient to access main attractions in the city by foot.

location, very close to the train station.
The breakfast is excellent! There is a machine to make fresh oranges juice from real oranges! there is even an egg boiler machine that you can boil the egg to your own style!
the lady front staff is awesome! She helped me with everything that I asked, from where to get stamps to restaurant recommendation!
no water bottle inside the room.
the heating is a bit weak

Excellent location, next to the canal. Very close to both the centre and the train station. Staff was friendly and helpful. When I needed to contact the hotel before arrival, they replied my msg immediately. The reception was open 7/24. Breakfast was very nice, cheeses and the fresh orange juice was great. Our room was on the first floor with full glazing. I liked having lots of sunlight both in the rooms and in the brekfast area. It was also great that we could fill our water bottles in the common area. For me, the best part was that the rooms were warm enough during February. The city was a bit cold in the evenings and it felt great to turn back to our warm hotel, which was not the case in some other hotels we stayed previously.
I wish there was some kind of storage/wardrobe in the rooms other than the open one. And the cleaning of the breakfast plates and knives could have been better. Also the coffee could be better.

Convenient accommodation option in the city center. Meets all basic requirements for a short comfortable stay.
9.0 / 10.0
Thé location, size of the room, friendliness and breakfast.
Missed little things like tissues, lotion, bottled water in the room.
5.0 / 10.0
The rooms did not have air conditioning. I was expecting air conditioning as Booking.com stated that the room came with air conditioning therefore I feel short-changed. It was extremely warm so I had to sleep with the window open and even that didn't improve the situation.
Location of hotel was good - close to the centre and transport links (main train station and tram lines).
Breakfast was okay - box standard.
Staff were competent however not that friendly.
No air conditioning in room esp when you advertised the room as having air conditioning on Bookkng.com.
Bed (mattress) was not that comfortable including the pillows. The hotel should at least invest in proper pillows that provide adequate support and comfort for the head.
