The only thing I would say was the thermostat was set to 13 degrees so going in January it took a while to heat up. But I do understand why

It's a lovely terrace near the centre of York and it's been really well thought out with lots of great touches. It has everything needed for a comfortable visit - a very well appointed kitchen, attractive furniture, new fittings, everything is in good condition and then there are extras such as board games or a tumble dryer both of which we needed for our stay.

Arrival and departure was easy with the keys in the key safe. The whole family was really pleased with how clean and comfortable the house was. The kitchen had everything we needed and the WiFi was great. We used the house's parking permit to park in the street outside. The historic centre plus local shops to buy food etc are within a 5-10 min walk.

Lock box was extremely difficult to open and key system was very complicated. We ended up getting locked out as a result and paid 50 pounds for entry. One of our group was unwell inside but could not hear us. The front doorbell did not work. Neighbours who helped us open the lock box said previous visitors had experienced similar difficulties. There was no shampoo, conditioner or soap in the bathroom We purchased some and left it. There was no oil or vinegar. Cutlery was in short supply. Please provide additional spoons. There were only 6 large spoons, 2 teaspoons, and no serving spoons.

The property was very clean,comfortable and spacious for us. We could leave our car and walk to good local restaurants. We enjoyed the weekend very much and the property was one of the reasons why.

The house is gorgeous, they provide everything you could need, it is comfortable and the beds are really comfy. There was ice in the freezer for us to use, cleaning supplies too. No problems at all
Parking is not included - which it says on the booking. Only on the morning of arrival was I informed that the letting company had not secured parking permits and we would have to park somewhere else which was inconvenient. They have offered to reimburse us but until they have secured permits, it should be removed from the listing. Also, the pictures do not accurately show the bedrooms - the room with the bunk beds with a double on the bottom now has a double bed instead, and the attic which is a double room is now two single beds. This can only comfortably sleep 6 people, not 7 if you plan on booking for 7. House has been renovated and is lovely, but pictures need updating

Short walk to both station & city centre, very quiet road.
Extremely clean & well equipped/furnished.
The climb to the 3rd bedroom was particularly tricky with a suitcase & it was a small double.

Location was great as only 5 minutes into Micklegate. The street was nice and quiet and the house was lovely with comfy beds and all the amenities you need. Supermarket and shops at the top of the street.
Had to call out handyman as lock into utility room broke and couldn't open door therefore couldn't get to the fridge for our food for breakfast. Had to go out for breakfast instead. Called first thing around 9am but on return at dinner still hadn't been sorted. Had to ring again and luckily came out and fixed within half an hour.

it wasn’t far from grocery store, the York city center, and places to eat. there’s ample room for 6-7 guests, nice dining area, and an outside patio.

The stairs to the loft ..I didn't feel safe when coming down them

very clean
it did not have 2 bathrooms as advertised. the loung only had seating for 3. the 3rd bedroom as in the attic, very small bed for 2 people(not double) and the stairs were dangerous as no handrail at the top. coming down was extremely steep and unsafe, not suitable for anyone older or with a disability, fire didn’t work in lounge.

La casa è luminosa, pulita e bene arredata. La cucina è ben fornita. Il riscaldamento funziona benissimo. I letti sono comodissimi. Avendo due ragazzi nel nostro gruppo hanno molto gradito i due parchi nelle vicinanze. È stato anche comodo avere negozi vicini.
Non riesco a pensare a niente che non ci è piaciuto!
