Great location, warm and cosy two nights.

Location was excellent. Short walk into the city centre and a stones through to local shops. Easy parking too.

There was a smell coming from the drains in the ensuite but once the shower was turned on it disappeared.

Lovely clean cosy house in great location

Lovely, cosy house in a quiet location within walking distance to the town. Excellent detailed instructions provided and parking permit arranged for us prior to arrival. Spotlessly clean and had everything we needed for our stay. The kids especially loved the attic bedroom. We had a lovely break here and would stay again.

Only slight issues were the main mattress was a bit firm and the grippers on the stairs are sharp.

Perfect location and stay for our family .

Location of the house was excellent . 10/15 minute walk to the centre . And lovely cafes near by to stop on the way . Spotless 3 bedroom property, perfect for our family of 5. Very comfortable place to stay whilst stoping over in York - much better than a hotel when with family as can relax in the living area . Tv with all the usual necessities for children . Underfloor heating in the kitchen was very comfortable. Parking close by . Furnished very well and very well equipped in the kitchen. Washing machine was a bonus but beautifully presented house all round . We would recommend this to friends .

Nothing - only thing that would’ve been helpful would be a high chair that could be stored away , as feeding a baby is tricky on a knee.

Everything, superbly furnished and decorated. Located within easy walk of York centre. Price should be increased, one of the most comfortable stays. Will always return to this beautiful house.

Only one minor complaint TV not user friendly unable to program. Oldies couldn't watch coronation Street.

A beautiful house, very well presented with everything you need for a stay in York.

The house was spotless, lovely furniture and fittings. Everything you need for your stay. Beautiful. Only a 15/20 minute walk to the centre.

We stayed on the hottest day ever recorded in this country. The house was extremely hot when we arrived and we could have done with fans in the rooms. Obviously it was unprecedented weather so I appreciate that they probably are not always needed. It’s a shame you have to wait until 4pm to get into the property, we were going to a graduation at the university so it would have been nice to drop everything off and freshen up first.

Outstanding property, super location

The house was just lovely. Very clean and spacious. Located very close to the city centre, 15 mins walk, which was perfect with having two teenage children who could go out and explore together. Lovely quiet street with parking close by. The property was very well equipped and the beds were very comfortable. The welcome box contained some essentials and lots of sweet treats-thank you!

Excellent option to stay in York!

The location is excellent and the house is very well endowed. It is refurbished, very well maintened and perfectly clean for our arrival.

Maybe the only things I could say, the radiator of one of the rooms and its bathroom is not working very well and we had like be able to open the window. Not big problems but it would be the only non-great.

We really enjoyed our stay and would happily return and recommend to family and friends.

Location was very good for walking into York. House was situated in a good area. Underfloor heating in the kitchen was soooo good. Thoughtful Christmas treats were left which was a pleasant surprise. Overall, clean and comfortable and very good family accommodation.

Parking was for one car and at the bottom of the street. It was a little bit challenging dropping older family members and bags off at the house. The parking was also a “first come first served basis”, so sometimes took awhile finding a parking space…it would have been handy to know this at the time of booking. A second front door key would have been helpful so that separate family members could come and go. The en-suite bathroom was a tad stinky …possibly just drainage issues from not being used regularly, leaving the fan on and the bedroom window open helped.

It's was a lovely place,, had a few flys in back kitchen for a few days that was not nice,, and had a bit of a battle to get £200 deposit back, without any reason,, but Bea sorted it in the end

Perfect place to see our offspring after nearly two years! Pricey but worth every penny.

The location was carefully chosen as we didn't want to stay in a busy noisy area. It was better than we hoped for, a lovely quiet road. It was a lovely walk into York, in fact there were several good ways in. We had a good selection of shops, takeaways etc just around the corner from the cottage. We needed three bedrooms and that put the price up quite a bit. The owners really had thought of everything, a washer dryer and an airer which I didn't find at first. We loved the outdoor space provided, we made good use of it! In a quiet way!

Beer glasses would be nice and a spare front door key in case guests want to do different things. We were fine, but larger groups might find another key useful. I realise there is access via the the back gate/door, but it is much easier to find the front door.

Perfect get away in a quiet residential area which was close to city centre

Everything was well thought out and made to feel like a home away from home. It was super clean, cosy and spacious. I would highly recommend. Thanks for making our stay perfect!
