Great place for a weekend getaway

Our stay at Chez Helene was truly delightful. The room was spotless, and although we were only there for a short weekend, we loved how convenient the location was just a 10‑minute walk and we were right in the city center. Helene is a fantastic host. She welcomed us warmly and stayed in touch throughout our stay, making everything incredibly easy and comfortable. Communication with her was effortless.

Perfect location, easy access from the street. Stylish and comfortable. Hostess easily available via phone. Very helpful neighbours who helped and offered more than expected to find a solution make our stay comfortable when we were locked out of our room. Compensation was offered by the hostess for the inconvenience we had incurred.

The shower in one of the rooms was blocked. The door to the room had a very unusual lock which unfortunately didn’t work well.

Helene is a really nice person and tries to help where she can. I felt very welcomed and had a nice short stay. Free good coffee and cozy room. Thank you very much

The heater system was a bit complicated, a how2 would be good. The windows don't have full shades. But both really no biggies.

Perfect BNB for a visit to Maastricht

The room and accomodation is lovely. I enjoyed my stay at Helenes BNB, which is not far from the city center. Ideal for André Rieu concerts. My train was late, so I wasn‘t able to check in at the time I thought, but Helene found a perfect solution. Thank you for the great time.

Location excellent and decor interesting and quirky.

Toilet in the room without door. Metal staircase in room could be hazardous during the night. Difficult to close blinds so very light in the morning.

Beautiful home really well presented with good sized room (on the top floor) in a really great location.

Extremely minor but a little hook to hang bathroom towels would have been perfect. Was a little odd that the bathroom including toilet was open… no doors.

Wij hebben een heel prettig verblijf gehad. Alles was goed verzorgd en schoon. Het was bijzonder fijn dat we al eerder konden inchecken. De gastvrouw was erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam, wat ons meteen een welkom gevoel gaf. Zeker een aanrader!

Heerlijke kamer, perfect gelegen en gastvrije ontvangst.

We werden zeer hartelijk ontvangen. De kamer is erg gezellig, met een prachtig behang met vogels en planten :-). De kamer is perfect gelegen t.o.v. het centrum en parken. Heerlijke tijd gehad :-).

Prima stek

Kamer, op de bovenste verdieping, is ruim met eigen douchecabine en wc en wastafel. Afgescheiden met spiegelwand van het zit/slaap gedeelte. Prima 2- persoons bed en comfortabele zit (slaap?) bank. Prachtig, apart behang😃 Op de gang pantry met koelkast, koffiezet apt en cups , suiker/melk en waterkoker met theezakjes. Wat bestek en servies en kookgelegenheid. Ik heb Helène niet gezien; via sms afspraken gemaakt over entree (met code) en kamer indicatie. Er was verder niemand in huis; dus heerlijk rustig! Ik kom zeker terug als ik in Maastricht moet zijn, parkeren voor de deur voor redelijke prijs. Centrale ligging. Prima stek,l👍

Omdat kamer op hoogste verdieping was, alleen klein dakraam boven bed en iets groter raam, dat alleen op kiertje open kon, omdat de luxaflex niet omhoog kon?! Gelukkig was t niet zo warm! Het is een BenB zonder breakfast, maar dat staat wel in de beschrijving! Daar heb je dan de koelkast voor😅
