a short romantic weekend in Maastricht.

Location was great as we have stayed there before. Last time we also had a junior suite which was on the top floor I believe. The breakfast was great and the staff were attentative. We will glady come back just a different room.

The room 011 smelled a bit "musty" I believe the smell came from the drain and the room was not aired out. We left the windows open for a bit but we were on the ground floor with direct access to the street. The smell was constant throughout our stay. It would be great if you could serve breakfast until 11:30. We noticed many people showing up at 11 and then being turned away. It is unfortunate because the restaurant has a great atmosphere. Also we were disappointed that the restaurant was not open for dinner any more. We really enjoyed our experience there last time.

Great location and nice boutique hotel with relaxed feel and lovely staff

No restaurant in evening but the breakfast was lovely! Patio room was comfortable with excellent shower. Safe a little small ok for passport not for a laptop or I would think a large mirrorless or SLR camera. Maastricht was lovely, good recommendations from reception staff. Very easy to get bus to and from the main station (just use bank card on and off), used 13 to get there.

Incredibly friendly, comfortable and just all round perfect.

The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. There was a great atmosphere between all the staff and guests. The bed was huge and very comfy. Breakfast was also great.

Firm over substance

The location

The room is very poorly furnished. There is no flat space to unpack baggage other than the bed and there is no luggage rack. I don't want to put my baggage out of a plane's hold on the bed. The only alternative is lay the baggage on the floor and unpack on my knees. There is virtually no useful storage space. One shelf at the top of the closet. The wall furniture should be thrown out. It takes up space and serves no purpose. The set large wooden squares holding up one small coffee maker is a waste of space. Service is very uneven. I asked for one extra hanger. I was told we don't have any. A hotel without extra hangers? My wife asked what bus to take to the central station. She got an airy wave of the hand "they all go there just go outside ". All busses don't go there as she learned. This hotel has an excess of form over substance. I travel broadly and I won't be back nor would I recommend this hotel to others.

Exceeded my expectations!

Beautiful! Even better in person than the photos - which rarely happens! Location, staff, and property all exceptional! I live in Amsterdam and this is my first visit to Maastricht. I will definitely be back and stay here again!

Absolutely excellent from the minute we arrived to the time we left.. Location is fantastic and the staff cannot do enough for you. From early morning to late evening., we were greeted with a smile. Cannot wait to return.

Location was great, walking distance to parking and walking distance many venues in the city.

The rooms had thin walls, and we heard the neighbors a little too much. Lights and mirrors in bathroom, not very convenient for applying make up.

Very big suite in a modern and fresh urban hotel

We had the largest room (Residential suite) which was gorgeous and very big. The whole look and feel of the hotel is fresh and modern, yet cosy. I asked for both the Romantic and Birthday balloons and the room looked very festive when we arrived. Breakfast is a la carte, not that many choices, but fresh, diverse and good. It is very close to the center and a 15 min walk from the station. We really enjoyed our stay

Great place for a short stay in the heart of the city.

Location of the hotel is great, as is the general design concept. Characteristic details of the original building were integrated in the new design.

Soundproofing of the room is mediocre and the housekeeping should take the effort to clean horizontal surfaces above 1m: all skirting, hinges and light fittings were covered in a thick layer of dust.
