Lovely old small hotel with an individual service and lovely interior.

This is a small hotel above a very nice restaurant. The room I had was on the top floor and it was large and quiet. Traditional wood decoration. Breakfasts were lovely. The location could not be faulted - less than 2 minutes from a delightful town centre full of bars and restaurants.

The stairs in this older property are quite steep and if there was a lift I did not see it. Not a problem for me but a consideration for older people visiting the hotel. The other consideration for those staying in Maastricht for a congress is that this is a 40 minute walk from the congress centre without an easy public transport option. The weathter was lovely for my stay but it is not always like this in Maastricht!

Amazing!

The (attached) restaurant Le Petit Bonheur is amazing, great food with perfect service and a beautiful atmosphere and internal garden to dine in and have breakfast. The rooms are unique and very comfortable, wonderful use of the building's unique historical features and new/modern elements.

Actually nothing, really. Perhaps just a tip: the bathroom was perfectly clean, yet could do with an upgrade like you did with the rooms.

Wonderful, I would be delighted to stay here again!

We had a wonderful stay, the staff were so lovely and helpful and welcoming, the breakfast was fantastic (truly I looked forward to this every morning), the beds were comfortable and the location was excellent - close to some very nice restaurants and bakeries but also tucked away enough that it was quiet at night & in the morning. The dining area was so relaxing and pleasant to be in, the courtyard is really lovely.

Nice hotel at prime historic location - friendly service - value for money

Hotel is situated at nice old part of Maastricht, in a beautiful ancient building. The welcome and service was hospitable and very friendly. Room was well equipped, clean and all well working.

Unfortunately it was a bit noisy till 23.15 o’clock due to (happy) guests at their open courtyard restaurant.After they left all was peaceful.

Cozy and central hotel

Very nice and cozy hotel with friendly staff. Located in the city center of Maastricht with (almost) everything at walking distance.

There was some noise from the street and the hallway of the hotel (which was expected given the age of the building), but they provided ear buds in the room which helped me sleep well.

A good, comfortable and reasonably priced hotel in a quiet part of Maastricht.

Excellent location in the old part of Maastricht, within a short walking distance of the centre. Very friendly and helpful staff, decent breakfast, high quality restaurant for an evening meal.

Beds too soft for us, but that's personal preference.

A wonderful place to stay in Maastricht.

We had a lovely large room. It had a comfortable place to sit and relax. The bed was huge and perfect for a good nights sleep. Breakfast was really good, lots of options. The staff was very friendly and made you feel at home. We had dinner in their restaurant which was beautifully decorated. The dinner was a real gourmet treat with delicious food. The waiters were very friendly, efficient and professional.

Enjoyable central stay in Maastricht.

Reception staff were very friendly and helpful. Location was central - few minutes walk to major attractions. Room was clean and large comfortable bed. Provision of earplugs!!

The room was on the small side and the shower in the bath was a little slippery. It was also a bit noisy - hence the earplugs! We would have liked some nicer coffee making facilities.

The hotel was very nice. Nice amenities, clean, except for the floor. When you walk in your socks they get dirty after 5 steps, so remember to have your shoes on. Very warm room, beautiful old staircase. Restaurant in the hotel although we didn't eat there but seems like a good option, very beautiful. Great location. 5 minutes to all highlights of the city.

Noise inside the hotel. After 11 people talking loudly on the corridor, seems like they are first time in the hotel. Loud outside when people are saying goodbyes leaving the restaurant. Mattress was very uncomfortable to me, very soft but with the dent/hole in the middle, must have served for a quite a few years already. With very big cushions it felt like my spine wanted to break. Maybe it was just me because my other 3 companions slept splendidly.

Choose and enjoy your stay!!!

Briefly, the location of the hotel is really good. We were able to walk around without spending too much time. Meanwhile, the stuff was so friendly and they showed a great hospitality. When it comes to the room, it was as it's mentioned in the webpage and so clean and equipped with the hairdryer, towels and necessary things in order to have shower. At the same time, there is water boiler with cups and coffee/tea. Overall, it was really nice experience.

I don't really remember something as a point that I didn't like at all.
