Comfortable, but disappointing because of missing TV remote, so no TV.

Cute property in great location

Location, cute, lovely inside garden, mix of modern and old fashioned

Arriving at breakfast at 9:30 much was finished and not replaced (egg/juice) and no one was around to help. Had to clear table of dirty dishes to be able to sit as a couple.

A delightful friendly hotel in an excellent location - but the stairs could be a problem for some.

This is a delightful, characterful, hotel created in an old 4-storey Dutch town house. The room we had was excellent with really good beds and an excellent bathroom. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the continental breakfast provided was very good - especially the individually cooked eggs and bacon! It is ideal as a base in the very heart of Maastricht. We spent 3 nights here and would certainly use it again.

The protected status of this buildings of this nature precludes the installation of a lift and so it is necessary to use stairs to reach the upper floors. The staff are very willing to carry luggage to and from rooms on these floors but potential visitors who have significant difficulties with stairs would be advised to check with the hotel when booking to see if a ground floor room is available.

Great little hotel in the centre of Maastricht.

The location is very central. The facility to leave baggage before check-in/after check-out is very useful. Post-booking & pre-check-in communications were timely & very clear. All the staff we encountered were friendly & helpful. The beds & pillows were comfortable. Electric kettle & capsule coffee machine. Several usable electricity sockets, inc near the beds.

The stairs are steep & narrow, and there's no lift. At the door of our room (124) there's a small but unexpected step which I think should be warned of with a sign on outside of the door - "Mind the step down!" Limited shelf space in the bathroom.

Suitable for single woman backpacker

Super cute place and quite spacious for a petite lady. It has a rustic & vintage charm with modern bathroom! 2 mins walk to a grocery store and right in the heart of the city.

There's no desk for working and it only has tiny espresso cup - so drinking tea was a hassle...

Very noisy, doors close with lots of noise and people are not careful😩. You cannot open the windows at night as you hear people in the morning having breakfast in the yard🥺. Also a bit dirty...

Okayish stay in Maastricht (great staff tho)

Great place for a couple of nights in Maastricht! Great position near the main square and the city centre. Staff was nice and friendly, the building was typical old Dutch structure with steep stairs but overall nice. The room was big and the bed was super comfortable. There was a coffee machine and a bottle of water offered in the room.

No door for the toilet (if you are traveling with a friend or a partner be ready to basically have no wc privacy), the room was cleaned daily but still a bit dusty and triggered my allergy. Last day at 8am there was no hot water in the shower.

I've stayed at the Grote Gracht before and always liked it. It is a distance from the railway station but it is very handy for the centre of the city.

The TV in my room was not working but the staff moved me to another room once it was found that the problem could not be easily sorted.

The location was great for as we were attending a concert in the square. Tha beds were very comfortable, room spotless.

We felt breakfast was pricey at 18+ euro so decided against it.

A nice stay in a lovely town.

The hotel is wonderfully situated, boasting an excellent location. The staff are delightful, always ready and willing to assist.

Despite reserving a room with two single beds, an unforeseen change led to me receiving a room with a large double bed. This was a significant detail as the original reservation was intended to accommodate individual sleeping arrangements. Additionally, there was a minor hiccup during my stay when the safe malfunctioned, requiring assistance from the hotel staff to recover my secured belongings.

nice hotel short of staff

nice location, spacious room, nicely decorated

it was very noisy couldn’t get the airco to work, so had to open windows street noise was bothersome until quite late breakfast wasn’t served until after 8 am. but we had to be at work at 8:30, traveling 30 minutes when I complained the recipient said she would discuss it the manager called me after 15 min in my room and:”I understand you want have a very early breakfast” i said: “No, 7:30 is not early.” he replied: well I don’t have enough staff, so can you come and have breakfast at our other location. a 10 minute walk with our luggage… the breakfast was ok, by the way last but not least my colleague complained that his mattress had a big ‘hole’ in the middle, probably overaged? so all together this was not the best experience

Brilliant location from which to explore Maastricht. Hire a bike if you can too!

Didn't have breakfast but the room was very clean the bed was really comfortable and the location was perfect. Right in the centre of town but very quiet. There was no issue parking my borrowed bike in the pretty courtyard and staff were friendly relaxed polite and helpful

Would have like english teabags and a kettle as well as the very good coffee!

Location. Staff were wonderful. Comfortable bed, we faced the garden so quiet at night. Great shower pressure and lots of hot water. Central enough for us to explore the beautiful city of Maastricht. Loved the decor. It is very much a boutique hotel

The room had a "stale" smell about it. The shower when first used had an odor from the drain, but went away after first use.

The central location, it’s in the middle of the centre. We had a room at the back, so no noise from the outside. The room was a good size.

When we arrived we asked for parking for our car. The answer was that he didn’t know because he was new. We had two single beds against eachother, that moved apart very quickly. We requested the next day if they could be tied together. The answer was that they couldn’t glue a single bed to another. So we ended up fixing it ourselves with a TV cable. The shower was leaking. Inside the hotel you hear a lot of noise from in the hotel, from other guests, cleaning crew.

Not what I had expected. The pictures of the place look very nice but unfortunately in reality it wasn't charming. It's a sad hotel with poor maintenance of the bed and the overall feeling wasn't pleasant.

The headboard of the bed if all ripped up. The feeling of the place wasn't that welcoming. I would expect less but the pictures seems so charming. So it is deceiving.

The location is perfect. The room has a lot of charm, is spacious and accommodated.

The room was very cold. the heater were not really working. Also the windows do not have thick curtains, so the room is not fully darkened to sleep. The double bed was made out of 2 single beds, but they kept separating when sleeping

The location is perfect. The staff were very friendly. The bed was very comfortable.

The table in the room had a foot missing so was unusable. The toilet walls were a bit dirty and could do with a fresh coat of paint.
