A memorable experience

Absolutely superb in a beautiful setting with view over the river

We did not book for dinner and the welcome was indifferent but once we settled in the meal was absolutely top class , the setting absolutely beautiful, next to the river ,and the evening was a great success , ending with the Andre Rieu Christmas Concert nearby. The bar man was most accommodating on our return, later , even though he had a mammoth task and no assistance

Mixed experience

The staff were really nice, especially and breakfast. Breakfast was nice, in a room overlooking the river. It’s in a good part of town and easily accessible for everything.

The maintenance and cleaning were not good. The room was dusty and had cobwebs. Housekeeping didn’t come on our second day - no explanation - had to go and find towels ourselves. The shower wasn’t functioning correctly. We reported this and nothing happened. There is limited sound proofing on the windows - we could hear any noise outside. The breakfast room isn’t very well ventilated so the smell of the fried egg station gets everywhere. On our last day there was some sort of flood in reception. I think it’s probably expensive for what it is and needs a bit of a refresh.

Fine hotel to enjoy the city of Maastricht

The location is great- at walking distance of key sights. The staff was friendly, the room spacious and clean. Breakfast offered a broad variety.

A bit inconvenient getting in and out of the parking garage; you need to get the ticket at the desk first. The hotel has an old small lift with unclear signage.

The ice machines on each floor were broken and unusable had to go to the bar on ground floor for ice. We didn’t realise the city tax was an added extra at the end of the stay which gave us a surprise, this could have been explained to us at checkin and maybe should be added in the room rate when booking. This incurred a fee on my Mastercard which was used as a holding fee, it was however reversed but still incurred a fee.

Lovely stay. Hotel is in a great location

Staff were really friendly. Location was perfect. We really enjoyed exploring the main town then heading back over the bridge for a drink or 2 outside looking over the river.

The room never seemed to be dusted. Was clean on arrival but during our stay, housekeeping tend to not dust. The coffee cup was not changed either. I only had a drink one morning so it was no big deal but they never changed it. I also came back one day and caught a young cleaning lad smelling my perfumes lol. Luckily I didn't mind.

Nice hotel downtown Maastricht, not sure if the money charged is worth the experience.

Perfect location, walking distance to most of Maastricht's attractions. Parking on site. Staff was nice. We appreciated the really large double beds. We were a family of 3 (2 adults and one child) and we had enough space to sleep comfortably with all of us.

Sorry to say but on-site breakfast is overpriced. Because of weather and travel arrangements the last day we've been forced to have breakfast at the hotel and we have been charged 88 Euro for 2 adults and one child. We paid less for dinner the evening before. Also the facility looks a bit outdated with visible wear and tear here and there. For the class of hotel I would expect better.

First of all, it’s a beautiful city. As for the hotel, everything is at the highest level. Spacious rooms, good design, everything is clean and cozy. Beautiful view from the window. Very good staff! We arrived at 12:00 and check-in at 15:00, we were checked in upon arrival🙃everything is close, you can walk around the whole city leaving our hotel. Shops, cafes, museums are nearby

Common facilities are good but the room assigned was bad, and not worth the price.

The 'comfort' room was not good. Some of the problems: 1. Room was shown as having a bath and seating area on Booking.com description, but had neither 2. AC and circulation not good enough, got too hot - especially around the bed 3. Approach to the room was through a dingy and stuffy corridor 4. Room was on the ground floor and had floor to ceiling windows. The curtains were too flimsy to give proper privacy, some blinds would have helped.

The location of the Hotel is convenient

Our bed had clearly visible stains on the mattress (seen even from the side without lifting any sheets etc.). The way the mattress was covered by the cover gave it more of a hostel look than anything else. The check-out procedure was unbelievable slow (15 minutes at least). The window of our room was not closing properly, I could literally feel a draft reaching me while in bed. The rooms are very outdated and badly in need of an update. The fridge in the room was not stocked, a no-go for a supposedly upscale hotel.

Good location, but needs a total "make over"

we had to change our room, as the first rooms aircon was not working, the room was like a "sweat box", the second room, was in the newer part of the hotel, and was much better, sheets were very high quality, but the towels are very poor.

get a new room if you can, as the hotel is in a great location, but needs a total revamp, the staff do not really do customer service, but if you persist they will help you.

Poor hotel, dirty room and needs a revamp!

Location was excellent

Hotel is very dated and our room was dirty. Scum marks around our bath, makeup on towels, dust and general grime in the room and our bathroom bin was not emptied.
