Pleasant room and hotel, but with room for improvement

The room was good, it had everything I needed.

The AC was constantly not working and the sound isolation wasn’t so good. The breakfast is also very basic for the price.

Clean place, but when traveling without an international plan, nit having wifi is not good.

The receptionist was great. I also liked the free water to drink.

There was no wfifi in the rooms, wish we would have known this at the time of booking. Also didn't like that we booked a King bed room and it was 2 small beds oushed together, although I have leanred that is just a dutch thing so not a big deal.

I enjoyed a safe, comfortabel, well located midweek get away.

Location, I came by car and the deal with the nearby parking garage was great. Walking to all the sights was easy and the train station across the way was good for exploring towns nearby. I did not use breakfast but Charlie's next door was a great café. The front desk managers were kind and helpful. I traveled by myself and felt safe and comfortable.

The safe, although playful with the theme of the hotel, on the floor was a little tricky to access. A comfy chair would have been nice so you didn't have to sit on your bed in between sight seeing rounds (but that's personal, I don't like sitting on a bed with "dirty" clothes). Suggestion add fun qoutes to the second and third flight of stairs. Your quotes around the hotel and on the first flight of stairs is fun, don't stop as you go higher.

Fun and quirky!

Great location across from Maastricht train station. Very boho style, similar to Moxie. Loved the vibes! You can rent a terrarium of insects for overnight company!

We were pretty cold becaue of broken heating

Hotel has a nice location by the train station. I may have not been careful enough while searching for hotels with parking, but I did not see the information that parking has to be paid additionally. So, if you come with a car add 15€ per day for parking. Parking is not far away in a nice garage. I also rented a car and I could not reserve the parking beforehand, because I did not have the licence plate information until I got the car at the rent-a-car provider.

When I entered the room I thought they forgot to close the windows. It turned out the heating was not working for the whole building. When we checked in at the reception, the guy did not find it important to mention that detail. We went back to the reception to complain and then we got electric heater for each room. One electric heater cannot heat up the room very fast and efficiently. Because of electric heaters in each room, the first night there were also short electric blackouts as the building installation could not cope with such load. On the third day they finally fixed the heating late in the evening. I set the heating to 23˚C, because I was cold. However, every time I set it, after a short period of time it was reset to 20˚C again. This reseting was happening until we checked out. At the reception they were suprised to hear that as they thought heating was fixed. The breakfast was ok, but you have to go out and around the corner in the rain. In the winter, select a table away from the door to eat, because there is also cold. I need to emphasize we were there at the end of November, so it was pretty cold and rainy outside.

Great property but not all rooms are equal

It was easy to find, great location and clean

The bed was in a poor position in a room that was difficult to navigate with steps and a sloping roof. Other rooms might have been simple but I hit my head getting into bed and then tripped up the stairs trying to get to the toilet at night. Also, the nightclub behind the hotel means that rooms facing the interior courtyard get a free drum and bass/ dirty garage concert til midnight most nights.

Great stay for the weekend.

The location is perfect, right in front of the central station, with restaurants nearby so you have plenty of options. The room is spacious and gets natural light thanks to the large windows. Breakfast is small but has everything you need. A good option if you want to stay outside the city center but still close to shops and restaurants.

The building looks a bit worn, especially in the common areas (elevator, hallways, etc.). Overall, it's fine, but the public areas could use a bit of maintenance.

Great location, extremely nice staff.

The location was excellent. The beds were very comfortable and the shower was lovely. The rooms are well insulated from the noise outside. Breakfast was quite good and the coffee was lovely. There is always fresh water at reception and the staff are exceptionally kind and helpful.

Not much storage space in the rooms. Breakfast service was quite slow and the tables were often dirty - the people manning them did not manage to clean them between people sitting down for breakfast.

Comfortable, contemporary, and relaxing!

Great location, loved the quirkiness, reception team were superb, comfortable rooms with control over the heating/cooling (which we haven’t always had at other hotels), can see Maastricht rail station from our room window, liked the chill-out garden which is so peaceful, loved the little mottos or useful information on the walls, doors and the stairs. Rounded off with a lovely breakfast. When we come back to Maastricht, we will return to this hotel.

Perfect Place to Stay!

The location was perfect, close to everything we wanted to see and do. The staff was very helpful and assisted us a lot. I also liked the fact that we could leave our bags after check-out which helped us a lot.

I did feel that for a budget hotel, the price was a bit on the higher side of the scale, but then it is Europe, and nothing is affordable in Europe at this stage in my books.

Excellent short stay over the Belgian GP weekend after a bike touring trip.

Location of the property, right across the station. Excellent Someone always at the reception. Convenient for check-in Allowed me to take my bike inside. Peace of mind Clean and spacious room with air conditioning. Comfortable.

Nitpicking at this point: A mini fridge or kettle would have been nice.

A stylish modern hotel but cost inflated to exploit concerts.

Located opposite the station, a walk from the city centre, but many restaurants in the vicinity. Modern design was quirky and not to all tastes. Facilities good and breakfast choice fine.

My visit coincided with an Andre Rieu concert so prices had been inflated a lot and hotel was full, breakfast space not inside the hotel and inadequate for the numbers staying.

Cozy hotel, kind stuff - worth the choice

The room was small, but cozy, location excellent, a little walk from the train station, on the corner of the main street, in a nice neighbourhood. The breakfast was nice, in a separate area at the next door. The elevator is good to have, and the chill zone is a good place to sit down. Water and Popping sugar at the reception! The stuff is very friendly and helpful in the check-in and check-out. I liked the funny (and mindful) lines in the bathroom about how to save water. And I think I haven't seen such a big screen in a hotel room before.

A chair and something to have the bag to put on would be nice, even for the basic room type, I think. Of course, I could survive without it although that would have given a comfier experience.

Quite pleasant stay!

The staff was super friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable as we got an upgrade for free and extremely clean. Great location. The shower was also quite roomy.

In our initial room, there was a lot of road noise, and we could even hear people talking from outside. We addressed it to the staff, and they immediately gave us another room on the court side, where it was calm.

Very big room and bathroom. Beds are comfortable. Staff are helpful

Could not get my wheelchair to my room due to steps on every floor but it was last minute booking and the would have ensured I didn’t have this problem if they had been informed earlier.

Design of the rooms, chillout zone in the atrium.

Breakfast didn't worth it. But it was available from 7am, which comes handy when you have to start your day early. And lobby looks somewhat worse then the rest of the facility. Other then that, it was nice experience.

I liked the design. Since we needed the train, I loved the location. I liked that I could request a pillow switch, and it was well articulated. Fresh ideas on the communication and sustainability choices.

The walls were a bit thin. Late arriving neighbours could wake you up. One night from the three a ventilation machine on the roof was noisy, sleeping was challenged. The breakfast didn't include scrambled eggs.

i lost my sunglass case in my room, guess the cleaner must hv thought the designer sunglass is in it too. i only realised it when i’m about to check out and so had no time to demand to find it. also the room has a few summer bugs in it. when i arrived theres also sticky stains on the floor
