Expected a room in better condition.

Location, quiet room, good bathroom and clean. Nice surprise to have our own private outside space.

Poor lighting, air conditioning didn't heat the room well. Had to ask for a blanket, room needs an update. WiFi was poor.

4 night Christmas break in Maastricht.

Nice big room. Quiet as it was on the fourth floor. Excellent, varied breakfast. Great location if arriving by train! Not in the centre of town but a pleasant 15 minute walk.

Bar staff a little undertrained perhaps. A wait on occasion for service. Lift a little 'unpredictable' on occasion during busy periods. Air con fans were noisy when used and might be an issue for a light sleeper in the summer. We didn't use them really.

It served its purpose

Location is very convenient. Pool is nice. Staff were very helpful.

The hair dryer for a four star hotel was terrible. Robes should be provided for swimming. Initially we were given a room with a very steep internal staircase. This was changed with no problem, but guests should be warned of this in advance. We would be wary of booking again in case this was the only type of room we could have.

Location was great for access to trains and buses. 10 minutes walk from the town centre for shops and restaurants. Breakfast food selection good with hot and cold options.

Highly recommended

Great location in Wyck — just steps from the train station and surrounded by restaurants, lovely streets full of boutiques, cafés and shops. Easy to walk anywhere in the city. Staff were very attentive and polite, and everything was clean and comfortable. We visited for André Rieu’s concert and the Christmas market, and this hotel was the perfect base — close to everything we needed.

Pleasant but overpriced for value

Great location, right in front of the train station! Very friendly and helpful staff.

The hotel building and amenities were relatively old, breakfast was very limited, the standard room has 2 single beds stuck to one another and its uncomfortable for 2 people to sleep since there is a gap in the middle of the mattresses.

It was very quite. The sounds insulation was great. The room was big enough, very clean and neat. The hotel is in front of the train station, very convenient.

The hotel is in need of refurbishment. And according to the information on Booking.com, there was supposed to be a refrigerator in the room, but that was not the case (well, there was a refrigerator, but in the type of room we booked, it could not be used).

Good short stay

Staff helpful and friendly. Location was perfect for me being opposite the bus & train station and it was a good base for the sites I wanted to visit.

I may have drawn a short straw with the room as I was positioned next to generators of some sort outside that were noisy (i always wear earplugs, so not so much an issue for me at night). There was no place to hook the towels - looked like there was something before for that purpose but had been removed and not replaced. Had to hang towels over the shower curtain bar. Room was quite dark.

A great place to stay when you've traveled a long way to come to the Andre Rieu concert

The location is excellent, right opposite the train and bus stations, and the city center is a pleasant 10-minute walk away, there are a lot of restaurants and shops nearby. Large comfortable rooms, comfortable beds and pillows, all the necessary amenities in the bathroom. I really liked that there was a coffee machine and a seating area in the room. It's good that the restaurant is open until late at night.

Nothing special, but the air conditioning was a bit weak, it couldn't cool the room enough in the afternoon, but at night we opened the windows and it was very pleasant.

Recommendable location and hotel.

Standard rooms needs to be updated - especially the mattress; bathtub and hairdryer are old fashioned and should be changed to a shower and a modern one which fulfills the expectations of ladies today. Location and bar is great!

It was quiet in my room at the back of the hotel, and with the heating off and windows open it was a comfortable night.

The overall impression is that the hotel is dated and tired for the price. The internet was slow. The information about hotel services was difficult to access. The lifts failed one night, so it was a trek up to the fourth floor.

Good value for money

The room was spacious and had air conditioning, the bed was comfortable and large. The bathroom was spacious and clean. It also had a small desk to get some work done and a little table with two chairs to sit with your partner.

The TV did not have any way for me to hook up an HDMI cable which I often do to watch series.

Very good after a bad start!

Room comfortable, good selection of breakfast choices. Location just a short walk from historic centre.

We arrived late after a long journey and two hours in a traffic jam. When attempting to open the door to our room, a man was already in there, who obviously should not have been. He tried to show us to another room. Reception were very apologetic and found us another room, but we could have done without the hassle after a very long day.

Pleasant

Breakfast selection is pretty good. The bedroom is spacious and the seating on the window is very nice. The staff are very friendly and helpful.

The mattress and the pillows could use a little upgrade, especially the pillows which are way too small. The room is also not very soundproof in relation to the other room, all night we hear doors banging that we assume from the bathroom doors (as ours also accidentally got shut close loudly one time).

Lovely hotel, but make sure they take care of it when you book an extra night!

beautiful building, nice rooms, friendly staff

The 2 matresses in the bed kept moving so you constantly ended up inbetween them. other than that, i booked an extra night and the staff member assured me she would take care of it. the next dat i got a call that our stuff was still in the room and we were supposed to leave eventhough i booked an extra night. Apparently something went wrong and i ended up paying about 30€ extra for the extra night eventhough they messed up my booking for an extra night.
