The comfortable and relaxing stay with a good facility and service.

Though the hotel building is not new, it was well-maintained. We had a comfortable stay thanks to the staff's warm hospitality. There was a good breakfast with a lot of variety, especially salad! (my favorite). My partner was very satisfied with the good facilities of the spa and gym area.

The breakfast on the second day was almost empty at 7h18 (the restaurant opens at 7h00) because of the tourist group. We wished the restaurant prepared more in advance.

Very nice location for a short or business stay.

Spacious room and comfy beds. We stayed for only one night so it fitted well. the bathroom was a bit too small for a triple room, but was well stocked with towels and amenities. Getting to the hotel was easy and the staff were friendly and helpful. The check in process was easy and straightforward. Breakfast was very good and diverse in choices.

The parking was pricy. there seem to be parking in front, but was not encouraged to use. street parking is available but didnt use it. hotel parking was EUR 21 per night. not a lot to do around the hotel by foot. the Maastricht city is about 2 km away so it fitted in nicely.

If you're going to the MECC, don't stay anywhere else.

My overall experience at the hotel was very good. The location is literally next door to the MECC. If you have any festivals at the MECC, this is the hotel to stay at. The breakfast buffet was excellent, with lots of choices, including gluten-free and dairy-free options. Everything was fresh and tasty. The room itself was clean, though a bit worn down. I purchased the welcome surprise and received a room upgrade to Superior.

I found it very difficult to fall asleep at the NH Maastricht. Despite being on the third floor, noises from outside due to the thinner windows, and the occasional person running up and down the hallway in the middle of the night (the latter of which is exactly the hotel's fault) were a definite hindrance. Additionally, the selection at Seasons Restaurant was limited, though it was tasty and affordable.

Wonderful and relaxing hotel. Away from the center of Maastricht, but not too far.

I stayed at NH Maastricht three different times in August-September 2025. I used it as a home base for two bicycle tours. The staff was very helpful in all areas of service in holding my luggage during my tours - they could not have been better! The rooms are nice and large and the breakfast is excellent. This is a very comfortable hotel and was ideal as a place to decompress at after each of the long bicycle tours. The restaurant-bar was a plus to have on location. I will return to the NH Maastricht every time when I visit this area.

The only issue I had was that the room was very warm during my first stay in mid August. This was at the end of a heat wave, thge first few days I was there were 30°C (86°F). to 35°C (95°F), so it is to be expected.

Please consider the unpleasantness

I am writing on behalf of my family regarding our recent stay at this hotel, and unfortunately, it was very disappointing. From the beginning, the staff did not take proper care of the rooms. We had to give multiple reminders just to have the towels changed and to request basic room cleaning. Even after escalating the issue to a manager, who assured us that everything would be taken care of and encouraged us to go enjoy our day, we came back to find no real improvement. The service felt reluctant, as if our requests were a burden rather than a normal part of hospitality. On top of this, we had booked an additional room for a guest, which made it even more reasonable to expect some level of care. Given all that happened, we feel a gesture of some form of acknowledgment would have been appropriate, even if we are not eagerly asking for it. Simply felt neglected, unwanted, and un-welcomed

Overall good logging food & beverage serious drawback *( only for some of us)

Overall the logging segment of the property is quite good it is a benefit to be familiar w. the property for maximum comfort provided & available at this property some pleasant professional & courteous staff members are great asset . Having to beg at Henrys for a table every night is draining

The food & beverage segment is completely absurd & inconsiderable to foreign visitors menu wise, complemented by serious evidence of service staff shortage, some really try to do their best to compensate for this fact.

All round enjoyable stay and great value for money

Very professional and helpful staff, great breakfast, wonderful amenities and super comfy bed. It was also really conveniently located to get to the town centre and I liked that bikes were available for rent.

The spa felt a bit cold and not very welcoming and the steam room, which I was looking forward to was either not working or needed a lot of time to start when I pressed the switch. The shower water pressure wasn’t good either.

Too pricey for what it offers

The room was very spacious with a very comfortable bed. The breakfast buffet had good variety, including made to order eggs. The parking was spacious and secure with direct access to the hotel.

My room was situated on the ground floor next to a meeting room, which felt awkward. The hotel restaurant was poor value for money, too expensive for the offered mediocre food quality (10 euros for a half liter beer, all entrees cost more than 24 euros). Overall, the room and offerings did not justify the extremely high cost per night.

Breakfast was great, convenient location with easy parking. Super friendly Staff at reception and did like the "self check out" store items. Appreciated the fan as our room didn't have air condition.

Bathroom could have been cleaner - "Silverfish" were crawling around and towels weren't changed on a regular basis. Not been able to open the window in the midst of a heatwave. Not been able to eat in the restaurant once in a 5 night stay. One reason we booked the hotel was that it had a restaurant as we were in the midst of a move and were looking forward to a nice meal without having to drive. In the five days we were there we weren't able to get one reservation - it seemed like the restaurant was understaffed plus the kitchen closed at 8pm (?). Definitely something to be aware of as the closest restaurants are about 10min drive.

Nice hotel if you have a meeting at MECC conference center

I was travelling for work, and the hotel is conveniently near the MECC congress center. Maastricht is small, so I could walk anywhere else in less than 20 minutes. The staff was promptly available at the reception. My room (superior) was spacious.

There was a blackout where the entire hotel was with no electricity. The emergency lights in the staircase did not work (or did not exist?). The staff seemed unprepared. No apologies from the hotel.

don’t stay in 464. ask for a better room.

the shop is self service and open all night. there is also welcome cake and fresh water. the staff were very nice but the hotel is a bit out of date and frayed /crumbling around the edges.

they put me in room 464. no air con. it was so hot. also no iron and the room was a bit crummy. felt really icky. had almost no sleep and was exhausted next day for work so I complained and got moved to a much nicer room. not sure why they would put anyone in 464. it’s horrific.
