POSITIVE : kitchen fully equipped, big fridge, comfy bed/pillows, good shower pressure and size, separate light in shower cubicle. NEGATIVE : we were given a room with a faulty toilet that splashed after every flush. After wiping up the mess on the seat and floor, we quickly used up the ONE roll of toilet paper we had for our TWO night stay. I went to reception to inform of this. I was told that this issue was recorded on the computer. When I said “and yet you still put us in a room with this issue?” She blatantly just said “yes” and gave me another roll of toilet paper, a tea towel and small towel to dry the toilet each time. Stunned, I went back to the room. By the time I decided to complain, it was too late to talk to management. The next morning I went to make a complaint and got a room without an issue. No offer of discount for first night. More negatives - towels were a shade of dirty white and smallest ever had. There was no hair dryer. Couch was hard as a rock. We had to take the rubbish out ourselves, to the other side of the car park, or else! Really???? We had to do the dishes, or else! This place is called a RESORT! I don’t think so! For the price, it’s not worth it and it’s definitely NOT a resort. We will never stay here again and certainly do not recommend it.

The place was great but the staff and the rules were not. First one bathroom had no toilet paper and the other less than half a roll. I asked for some and they acted as if I was lying and gave me 1 roll and said when I was out I had to go buy some. That is not a “resort” normality. They also charge you a cleaning fee at check in but require you take out the trash (okay), load the dishwasher (fine), but then say wash and unload dishwasher before you leave at 11. Considering that the washer takes 3 hrs to complete you need to get up before 7 to have time for breakfast and cleaning…and eat or drink nothing else. Again NOT “resort” norms.

Expecting a 1 bedroom apartment - getting a house. Very nice living room with views over the Golf course - and it seem even to Belgium. Kitchen very well equipped with everything but salt and pepper. The beds were super for those who appreciate very soft beds as was the jacuzzi and sauna. Unfortunately the sauna was needed during the nights as we only were offered summer quilts. The fancy hotel lowered the temperature during the night to 16C and we were freezing big time. The next night we took additional quilts from one of the other 3 bedrooms to keep warm. Why the bedrooms have to be warm during the day and cold during the nights is a big mystery. No matter what - very positive- and one of the best places ever stayed at!!!

On the whole very good especially the resort itself. Our appartment lacked comfort items ie lack of hairdryer. reasonable size towels - not rags. Decent pillows. Taxi Shuttle very good

Loved the area and the facilities. Property needs better towels, pillows and more toilet paper, soap and shower gel. Also a welcome pack that includes nespresso pods, tea bags would have been a nice touch.

This is my second time staying at Dormio. We love it here. My only critique is that the furniture is all very hard and uncomfortable but the place is wonderful, the people are friendly and helpful and the rooms are clean and modern. Sometimes the main outdoor area is noisy late in the evening if people are out dining/drinking so rooms facing this area may encounter this.

We went during the week and felt like all the staff there (when we could find them) didn’t really want to be there. Our place was nice, but missing some amenities. The laundry facility was not good.

Hey, There are a few thing that we want to give negative feedback. 1) The house was full of silverfish bugs!! 2) The house wasn't cleaned well enough and the dishes were dirty. First thing we needed to do was to fill the dishwasher and put it on. 3) One of the upstairs chairs broke immeadly when one of us sat on it. 4) Uptairs bathrooms toilet's flushing was leaking. 5) The heating system wasn't working well. Downstairs foor was super cold. (The last day was ok) We went to complain about it but in the end nobody came to look at it. 6) For 6 people you get 2 toilet paper rolls and 3 dishwashing pills, 1 super small hand soap for 2 toalets, a tiny botle of shampoo and bodywash. If these basic things are not included you should tell it beforehand.

We like the area and surrounding environment. The food was good. However, we had difficulty with the stairs to the bedrooms and smoke from outdoors when we opened the windows. I have some health problems. We had to check out early due to the safety concern. The security officer nicely worked with us to identify problems. The resort manager generously informed us to refund the remaining night based on the unexpected experience we had. We are waiting to hear from Expedia personnel after working with the resort manager.

The hotel is nice and neat. But the apartment floorplan is poorly designed. The toilet is not in the bathroom. The shower closet has leaks and each time after shower you will flood the bathroom. They also don't offer much amenities. You only get one roll of toilet paper (more like half roll) and you will have to buy more your own. They don't offer any tissue box.

The resort is located on the outskirts of Maastricht. It is only a 10 minute bike ride to the city centre, where there is free valet parking. The apartments and homes are luxurious and comfortable, and the main square (Het Wilhelmus) has all the facilities you need during a short or even longer stay (bicycle rental, bakery, childcare, pub, restaurants). The resort is dog friendly and has a swimming pool and a spa.

Apartment was spacious with a great balcony. Would have liked an oven, only combi microwave/grill. Convenient location on outskirts of city, can walk to city centre in 30-40 mins( or cycle in less)

The hot weather we faced during the stay emerged horrible kinds and number of insects inside the house, deep every day cleaning inside and outside the house is needed.

The only down side was the state of the table on the balcony. The previous occupants had melted the top of the table by placing something very hot on it. This was reported to reception but nothing was done. Suggestion will be a welcome pack as we get with Diamond resorts.

I booked a 3 bedroom, floor plan was good. But upon arrival, noticed there were hair everywhere on the bed and staircase, dead bugs and mosquitoes laying on staircases. Cleaning crew came fairly quickly to clean, however cleaning crew had bad BO leaving the apartment smelling fowl. There were no amenities (shampoo etc) provided in the second bathroom. In the night, silver fishes were crawling everywhere on the walls. We love having a sauna in the apartment. That was our fav and the indoor pool was very nice. Sheets were soft.

The pool wasn't available the night we stayed, which was very disappointing since that's one of the reasons I chose the hotel. The bathrooms had leftover items from other occupants left behind on the back of the counter and the sheets had scuffs/stain marks on them. It was quiet and easy to get to but I was disappointed overall.

stay was ok. only lot’s of other loud groups of guests till 3 o’clock in the night sitting outside, drinking and chatting. and one drunk guest broke the fire alarm in the middle of the night and as a result we needed to stand outside between 1 and 3 to get the alarm fixed.

The property is cute and well kept but the holiday homes are not well equipped for anything longer than a weekend. We spent 10 days there, kitchen missing a lot of items to be able to cook, no extra trash bags. We would like to be set up for at least few days. Bathroom doesn’t have hair dryer and home doesn’t have iron and board (we needed for work clothes), we went to the front desk and for 3-4 days none available eventually they called me and said hair dryer was available but we never got an iron. When you leave it felt like we had to clean up the place for them with all the rules. The place wasn’t so clean we found shoes in the closet and socks under the bed… the towels were old and rough. Front desk gave me the receipt for hotels.com showing their lower rate compared to what I paid, and I asked to a couple of people to just print me my receipt of what I paid directly to them and not what I paid to hotels.com and they were unable to. The restaurant doesn’t have menu in English, but the staff is very friendly and tries to help. Internet is horrible, we had a router in the home and we reset it and worked a bit better. But it’s an open internet no password. Internet only works on main level of home doesn’t work upstairs. Overall the place is cute and peaceful but I think an apartment/ homes rental somewhere else gives you more of a a home feeing for a long stay.

Nice little resort near Maastricht. Apartment was nice and cozy. However, missing a hairdryer and there were none available at the reception. A luxury resort without a hairdryer is inconvenient and unexpected. Moreover, the cooking pots were all dirty with burned food. I had to wash them all.
