Pleasure stay in Maastricht

We was only one night in Maastricht, our room was nice with welcome drinks. The room was filled with small useful things that are sometimes needed for everyday life ( different cups, wine glasses,bottle opener, kitchen towels, napkins, different tee option, coffee cups and different sweets and etc…) - personally, to me, this all means that the room was prepared with care! Thanks a lot for this! Breakfast was served in the room, sooo rich breakfast with different options! Wooow…big respect for this! Host is very nice and friendly, was really pleasure to stay there. Location is very close to the city center.

Absolutely wonderful place to stay in Maastricht. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable and Karin has included every possible amenity. The breakfast in particular was simply amazing and better than many breakfast buffets at well known international chain hotels. Could not recommend this place more.

Small private very friendly and clean accommodation 10 minutes by walk from the center of Maastricht. We were happy with all that so the following is just for your information: 1. Narrow stairs with steep rise; 2. Breakfast in the room; 3. Public parking 150 m on the street. But: 1. Manageable even with bigger luggage; 2. Super "tailor-made" breakfast; 3. Euro 6,80 per day (summer 2023). Clear recommendation.

A Home Away from Home in Maastricht

Het Harlekijntje is a special place. The atmosphere is one of peace, quiet and warmth. The owners make new guests feel truly at home. Breakfast was a richly varied array catered to my requests and served in my room on a rolling trolley. I don't think I've ever stayed in a cleaner hotel room. Welcome includes a map of Maastricht and recommendations for restaurants. Once welcomed, guests are free to come and go as if at home. I can't recommend Het Harlekijntje too highly.

The walk into the center of town was a bit of a stretch in iffy weather, but the upside was staying in a quiet side street rather than in a busy commercial area full of cafes and shops. There is an excellent cafe as well as a bakery near Het Harlekijntje.

Second floor. You need to take a small steep stairs. For me was fine, I did not have any luggage with me. However, if you have a lot of luggage it might be uncomfortable.

great location, you are just a short walk from all the nice places in the city center. big room, with a nice little sitting area on the window and bed is very comfy. sympathetic couple running the bnb & breakfast is opulent and excellent

Excellent option for a couple on a city trip

This is a family-run B&B in the centre of Maastricht. The house is located in a quiet street within walking distance from Vrijthof, the hosts are wonderfully friendly and helpful, they speak both English and German and really make you feel welcome. The smallish, but nicely furnished room overlooked the backyard and was very quiet, and the bed was very comfortable, we had a good night's sleep. The bathroom is modern, well fitted and spotlessly clean. They offer a rich and yummy breakfast, nothing missing there. Parking places available across the street for a very moderate price.

The stairs are a bit steep, you need to be careful when it's dark - a common disadvantage of old houses.

A Jewel just blocks from the Heart of Historic Maastricht

Just a few short blocks from the historic center of town. A very comfortable room with good-sized adjoining bathroom. Great hosts, serving a more than ample (and varied) breakfast. It’s a jewel, at a very affordable price.

A warm and hospitable home-away-from-home with a marvelously generous and tasty breakfast!

Breakfast was exceptional and overly generous! The room was better than being at home (and my home is also very comfortable and homey). The bed was ideal, made it difficult to want to get out of it:) Best of all was the superb hospitality and warmth of our hosts and going above-and-beyond their call of duty to help my out with various matters! I highly recommend this one-of-a-kind hotel!!!

Perfect, thank you again!

The location was very good, set in a quiet area, close to a lovely park and only a 20 minute walk from the city center. Parking was available nearby. Our room was perfect, just the right size with all essentials provided. It had a good, comfortable bed, an excellent en suite with bath and separate walk in shower. Our inclusive breakfast, which was served in our room, was amazing! It was provided on a trolley, delivered to your door and gave us so much choice, we certainly didn't go hungry! Our hosts, Jan and Karin, were just lovely, they made us feel like part of their family and were courteous and helpful throughout the whole of our 3 night stay. We would certainly stay with them again if we were to return to Maastricht. Thank you again Jan and Karin!

Very pleasant stay, good value for money

Located very close to the center, friendly stuff, good service and attention to details, clean room and nice breakfast included. We would stay here again.

The toilet is a bit small (that was not a big problem for us). The breakfast was very generous, though there were not much healthy options for us (like low fat/no sugar and whole grain products), but this is very individual. Anyway, it was a very good place for its price.
