Exceptionally comfortable and amazing location

We loved every moment at De Stadswal! It was right in the heart of Maastricht, had very comfortable beds, our room had everything creature comfort we needed, the hostess was lovely and made us a wonderful breakfast each day. We also appreciated the eco-friendly touches throughout.

It didn't bother us, but the next door neighbors had a pretty raucous Friday night! Not a fault of the Stadswal at all though and expected in a lively town.

Highly recommended!

My room was beautiful, cozy and bright. It was modern and well decorated. It was clean and provided with TV and Wi-Fi. The owner is absolutely amazing, kind and helpful. It is possible to pay the city taxes with PIN. I definitely recommend De Stadswal!!!

Exceptional

The breakfast was exceptionally good, our hostess even ask us in advance our preferences and we had a lot more than we expected for our breakfast. The location was great too, main squares were reached by foot in a very short time!! Our hostess was very friendly and welcoming and overall we really enjoyed staying there :)

Incredible service in this beautiful city

A little hidden, which only adds to this amazing cosy hotel. The location is exceptional, as it is located within walking distance from het "vrijthof". The service was extraordinary. Anneke really went above and beyond, contributing greatly to the incredible experience we had here. If I visit maastricht again, I will definitely come back here!

Superb

Excellent location with only 2 minutes walk to the Christmas market. Our room was very clean and comfortable. Elise (the owner) is truly one of a kind! She was so welcoming and helpful and made us feel as if we were home, as well as being ever so thoughtful and kind to our two young boys. The breakfast is really really good too 🙂 Would definitely stay here again!

Heel fijn verblijf gehad! Gastvrij en vriendelijk ontvangen. Veel nuttige info gekregen over bezienswaardigheden en waar te eten (ook als vega/vegan). De kamer (lavendel) was schoon en fijn, bed slaapt lekker. Prachtige tuin en ligging is ideaal. Bij het ontbijt ontbreekt het aan niets, er was zelfs voor plantaardige yoghurt gezorgd.
