Quirky room, comfy beds, attentive communication and good location. Everywhere we wanted to go to was within an easily walkable distance

Esther is very nice and friendly host. The place is calm, fully equiped, with everything you need for your comfort. Thank you for the nice coffee and tea, we felt like "home" :-)

The room was lovely and spacious, in a nice and reasonably quiet area.
The owners were very friendly and helpful!
Good cafe for breakfast was close by.
Although the following experience itself was unpleasant - a very smelly shower curtain - it became evident only after it got wet so the owners couldn't have realised it whilst it was dry, before the shower was actually used. They changed the shower curtain, cleaned it all up and also offered a breakfast on them. So all in all, given how well and quickly they solved the issue, I have still written it under the positives.
I hadn't realised when I booked that the bathroom/toilet is open (without a door) - it wasn't an issue as I was on my own but I would appreciate privacy if I was sharing a room.
I didn't like the smelly shower curtain but as discussed above, the solution to the problem was quick and good!
