Cosy hotel with a character

Cosy and with a character, very spacious double room, very big and comfortable bed

Maybe a bit more facilities in the room. There was only some coffee, no tea and water boiler.

Amazing but would be perfect with real king size bed

Amazing building at the heart of the city with very lovely interior and middle garden , the room was sufficiently spacious, clean and warm , the point we didn’t enjoyed is the bad , despite the description was king size bed , it was 2 splitted beds put together temporarily that we felled down from the middle , it shouldn’t be the case at a wonderful hotel . The other point is the price difference for the weekend was almost 4-5 times the average .

Great hotel with super friendly staff, perfect for a couple of days in Maastricht

The room was very nice (Luxury) and very spacious. Beds were, I think, 200x210cm The hotel is located close to the Vrijthof with many restaurants and bars in the area. City center is around the corner and several of the old neighborhoods are just a short walk.

Temperature in the room was too high. There was an A/C but it didn't seem to work. Opening the window was not really an option due to street noise (as in people walking around after a night out)

Very beautifully decorated, stylish hotel. Everything done with great taste and with attention to detail. Staff extremely welcoming and friendly. Everything very clean and tidy.

When separating the double bed into two individual beds, they were quite slim, and I often woke up fearing that I would fall.

Sweet hotel, centrally located

It's a cosy hotel, conveniently situated in the heart of Maastricht, next to the main square the Vrijthof. The staff is welcoming and friendly. The room felt a bit like visiting my grandparents. A bit old skool.

Brilliant stay in a brilliant location. We'd definitely stay here again if visiting Maastricht.

Superb location to explore the whole of Maastricht and ideal position for our purpose. Hotel was clean and comfortable and all staff were friendly and helpful.

Whilst it din't matter to us, our bathroom was on a mezzanine floor via some very steep stairs. If you were old or had mobility issues, this would have been problematic. I think therefore, future customers should be made aware of this on booking.

Lovely place in the heart of the city

Lovely, homely, beautiful court garden, all giving off vibes of an old castle. Very peaceful and quiet while in the heart of Maastricht. We didn’t have time for breakfast but it looked delicious. And super comfortable beds.

A welcoming hotel close to the centre of the city

The owners of the hotel have gone out of their way to create a lovely ambience. There is a very pleasant courtyard garden, away from the hustle and bustle of the bars of Maastricht. Our room was in the top of the house and very quiet. The location is good, in the older, more interesting part of town. There is a great choice for breakfast.

Charming Italian boutique hotel

This is a small boutique hotel in the heart of Maastricht. The location, staff, and room were all really great. The room was big, clean, and comfortable, and had all that I needed. The little courtyard is charming.

Overall, it was a very good experience, but a few small things could be better. The pillows were not comfortable, and when asked if they had a softer one, I was told they would check, but they never got back to me. Safe and aircon were not working. There is no lift so it was a bit hard with the suitcases, but they helped.

Very disappointing for the amount they clearly feel comfortable to charge - will not visit again

Location is an absolute pleasure - garden terras also v comfortable

Staff mentioning three times (!) that you 'need' to check in before a certain time - Room was in an absolute poor state for the amount they charged, absolutely no value for money - Doors are not noise cancelling so if you are close to the hallway you will hear everyone who comes by - Breakfast a 22.50/person is extremely expensive (especially given that the rest of the city with better priced breakfast is all around you)

A lovely historic building with charm, hosted by a friendly staff.

The personnel were welcoming, friendly and helpful. They went out of their way to do their best. We were lucky enough to have nice weather and could enjoy the lovely garden.

The building is a historic building and thus, do not expect elevators. We had a junior suite and it would have been nice to have nicer bathroom amenities since it was mentioned in the description.

the location is close to the city centre and university.

money wise much to expensive. rooms are maintained but dated. the room was cold. badroom has no floor heating and radiator was cold. the double bed are two singles. super annoying. when people take a shower you hear a high frequency noise. also when people come down stairs early. Not soundproof. For the price there are better options.

Really clean and comfortable. Small hotel with almost family like atmosphere without lacking professional service. Room was well isolated and warm in winter.

This hotel is not suitable for people with mobility issues and the reception staff was rude

The hotel is not suitable for people with mobility issues. Also, the hotel reception staff was very rude, unhelpful and obnoxious, when we asked to change a room due to the health issue of making it difficult to climb very unstable and dangerous staircase to get to the bathroom which was on the mezzanine floor above the bedroom. Without even telling us at the time of the booking, they put us into an attic room on a top floor with a very unstable and extremely dangerous staircase which you had to climb to get to the bathroom on the mezzanine floor, which was on a different level from the bedroom. When we complained about the room to the reception staff pointing out that this was not brought up to our attention when making the booking over the phone and, if we had known about having to climb to the mezzanine floor to access the bathroom, we would not have booked this hotel and when we asked the reception staff to change the room due to the health issue, which made it difficult to climb very unstable stairs to get to the bathroom on the mezzanine floor, we have received a very rude, unhelpful and obnoxious response. Also, there is no lift in the main hotel building.
