Maastricht is a special town and this hotel is located right in the center off the busiest gathering point. The staff was fantastic, the beds were very comfortable and the breakfast was delicious.

Nice but pricey for what you get.

Breakfast was very nice as was the staff. Location is good. Room was fine. Nice rear courtyard for sitting outside in good weather.

Had to go downstairs to the reception area- no elevator to reception level from the entrance and no elevator to the floor level where our room was. Had to haul bags up and down half a flight of stairs. No restaurant or bar in the property. Room amenities just ok.

Great location. Could be better

We were in Maastricht for the Andre Rieu concert and the location couldn’t have been better. Right on the square! Room was fairly basic and somewhat spartan but the bed was comfortable.

Main complaint was the hairdryer. What decent hotel nowadays has those useless white hairdryers that are attached to the wall? I could dry my hair quicker by blowing on it myself!

Mixed feelings

Reception staff were excellent -very professional, helpful and friendly. We left cases which were taken to our room once it was ready. The location is brilliant too.

The room was lovely and clean and quirky, but I don't feel it looked like the photos and so was a little disappointed - I just don't think it worked very well for us. We also booked a meal in Safar. The waiter went on to say we had booked a pre concert meal? which I had not requested. And it would be a set price of 180 euros for 3 of us. We did not want to order that much food so chose five dishes from the menu. We ordered 3 dips which each came with a pitta. We only received 2 pittas instead of 3 and what a fuss we received.They were refusing to bring our 3rd pitta and insisted on us ordering more on the bill. The waiter then came over to explain they only give 2 pittas between 3 to avoid waste, even though this is not what the menu said. Unfortunately, the attitude spoilt our special meal but luckily Andre Rieu saved the evening as the concert was amazing.

Beautiful room, well appointed with plenty of space. The patio is a perfect place to have a drink. We wish we had planned a longer stay …

Nothing to do with the property but the “kermis” on the main square in Maastricht is awful and it’s just in front of the hotel. An eyesore and a massive source of noise, light and air pollution. Cables, generators and lots of mess in a tightly packed town centre. It’s 2025 not 1975.

Romantic, restful room right on the square within easy walk of great dining and shopping

The place is very stylish and beautiful, as the photos indicate accurately. Host was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was really wonderful, prepared to order in a charming dining room, delicious food. The funky and fun art of Mastricht square is right out the front door!

The hotel is VERY hard to find by car.... the online directions need tweaking, and GPS does not work well at all. The spa has quite limited access- great if you plan way ahead, which I was not able to do, due to language barrier on the booking website. It looked truly amazing, though.

Lovely hotel

The view of the Viertoff was exceptional ,the room was huge , shower lovely , sink different , seperate toilet . The bed very comfortable , breakfast was lovely , receptionists very helpful and pleasant . Would love to stay there again .

The only thing that was disappointing was the coffee machine was not working and no tea or coffee supplied

I highly recommend this hotel as customer service is excellent and facilities are great.

Location was ideal... right in the square although it was closed off due to André Rieu concerts ... Breakfast was delicious and bath tub sumptuous Staff were extremely helpful and accommodating

Bath robes were too small and bath towels could have been more sumptuous and larger to make the stay a solid 5* Also I found it difficult to use TV as it appeared not to be connected to internet

Expensive but great

In the city center with a great View. The room is big with a confortable bed and different types of pillows. The living room and kitchen are perfect to continue your evening when you have a toddler going to bed early or taking naps.

The curtains are not dark enough; all sunlight get through the rooms so in summer it wakes you up early. Also it was not easy for my toddler to fall asleep when not in the dark.

Holidays in the city centre

Interesting hotel in the city centre, renovated old house. Delicious breakfast and dinner and really helpful staff.

Staff is in the hotel only from 09.00 - 18.00 than someone from restaurant might help u in case of need. For business travelers not practical while u cannot do late check in or early check out. It’s true that communication can be handled via email but in case u have some specific requests this concept doesn’t work. I do recommend this hotel for holidays stay.
