Let say some stains on the wall and the smell of cigarettes on the stairs but it can also be that one person smoked and the smell is there for a while, it's quite closed area.

Easy city stay

Very nice/helpful staff. Great decor. Comfortable pillows and bed. Welcome chocolates 🙂 Green/sustainable attitude. Great location.

Poor sound proofing in the rooms- you can hear everything happening in the hallway and also a lot of noise outside from the room I was in (overlooking a courtyard where young people appeared to have f out until late)

Location, location, location!

Location was excellent. Happy hour was a nice touch and the breakfast each morning, was sufficient. The staff were very pleasant. Proximity to Markt Square and restaurants/cafes was wonderful.

I understand that weekends in July are a very busy time for the city, and hotels can charge more, but the cost paid for two rooms did not match or justify the product. At a minimum, breakfast should have been included in the price. We didn't have our rooms serviced in favour of 'planting trees', but I was then charged almost Euro 6 for a small bottle of water (that comes free in the room when its serviced)? The rooms were dark and the black walls and black furniture felt dingy.

Perfect place for a comfortable, enjoyable visit

The whole experience and stay at Mabi exceeded our expectations. Helpful and responsive reception staff. Carmela was great as her two other colleagues during our stay. The room for 4 people was spacious, with comfortable beds, and quiet. Parking was public covered space not far from the hotel. Breakfast had salmon and champagne. Loved the Happy Hour concept ! Convenient location with just few meters to the square where good restaurants and bars were located.

It was an overall pleasant stay and I recommend the hotel for its cost benefit.

I liked that it was well located near the Markt and with bar and restaurant options near by. The facility looks new and well maintained. It offers little perks like croissants and popcorn at the entrance which we enjoyed. We liked the possibility of the little cinema but did not use it (maybe if it was a play area for kids we would have used it better). The rooms are spacious and in one of the rooms there was a mini fridge that was convenient.

The sound proofing - inexistent. I could hear my baby cry from the hallway, so I imagine our neighbor rooms did not love us. We could hear conversations from the hallway and the next rooms, which we did not love either. The room service - the towels were substituted and the bed was made but the toilets were not cleaned and the floor was not vacuumed. One day even the used cup of tea was left behind with the used tea bag inside. As we stayed with a baby, the lack of care with daily hygiene made a lot of a difference in our experience. Consistency - one room had a mini fridge but the other room not. This was inconvenient as we would stay for several days and had food to keep on the fridge. Breakfast - for its cost, we would expect fresher croissant and eggs and a non-dairy milk alternative. Parking - in booking it seems like the the parking is included but it's actually booked and payed apart. The most convenient parking nearby (Bassin) is 26 euros per day and to go out of it there is a staircase. The other one (De Griend), 10min on foot across the bridge, is 15 per day after a small discount from the hotel. Organization - I mentioned 4 times in different means that I did not want a crib anymore, after the information that it would be charged. The crib was placed in, and before the first night I asked it to be removed so it would not be charged. Still the crib was left behind and I was charged. I was told i'll be refunded but I'm still waiting for the refund.

amazing location ( near everything in 2 min walk), q park around the corner , very clean, you get a welcome drink ( bubbles) , beds were super, shower is perfect and staff is super friendly

Proximity to town.

It’s an older building which has been renovated in most areas to a fair standard, however the rooms are dark and the beds fairly average for the price. While the mattress is ok, there is no headboard and the base itself is of a spare room standard. There is no fridge, iron, ironing board in the room. 2 lights didn’t work and the towels are small. I must add that the location, staff, breakfast and breakfast dinning room were of a high standard, for me it was only the rooms themselves that let it down.

Incredible experience at the Mabi Hotel

The staff was extremely kind and attentive to my needs, the decoration of the hotel was really original and the breakfast was delicious. And the location could not be better. I will definitely come back.

Convenient to city centre. Super comfy beds, great air cond. amazing staff. Happy hour wine, excellent breakfast. Even a movie room with popcorn if you have extra time. So sorry we didn’t stay longer.

Very well looked after

this is an old cinema so a lot of the decor is built around that theme, wonderful. includes a small cinema you can reserve for free and you can buy popcorn and drinks to enjoy. fabulous. 5pm wine time is a nice event at the end of each day visiting the beautiful city of Maastricht. They plant a tree for you if you forego housekeeper cleaning the room. Staff are really friendly and helpful.
