Lovely hotel, great room, friendly staff, fabulous location, good value compared to other hotels of similar quality. We were able to check in on arrival.
Pillows were too small and too hard. Annoying AI chat bot communications - far too wordy. Strange that the reception desk staff go off duty at 1500, which is exactly when check in opens - though it was fine for us.

Location great
Hotel very minimalist and just white everywhere .no soft furnishings, paintings etc.. There is no lift and the stairs are lethal. Steep and short and carpet threadbare.
So quiet and even felt I had to dry my hair behind a closed door in the toilet! Out of respect for Nextdoor visitors. Had tv on low level so could hardly hear it as knew other people could hear it!
You can literally hear everything in your neighbours
room.
Nobody on site during the night so felt just left on our own.
Children in reception area crying or shouting waiting for their swimming lessons. Moody mums and felt we shouldn’t be there,
It’s more a gym/swimming pool with a few rooms.there’s no bar or food facilities. You can buy a packet of crisps and maybe a bottle of coke. No warmth in the place whatsoever
