Overall, it was a bright and comfortable stay close to the center with an easy check-in

Nice location, not far from the city center. The bed was comfortable, the room felt bright, and the shower was great. I also appreciated having a coffee machine. Check-in was very convenient - they even called to let me know in advance that I would need to pick up the key myself

There was no shampoo holder in the bathroom. The area around the windows is a bit low, but it didn’t really affect moving around. Also, there are a few small steps inside - fine for us, but it could be difficult for anyone with mobility issues

Hotel designed by famous architect Wiel Arets. I was in the annex with a nice view outside. Generous-sized room. Good value for the money.

Being on the ground floor, I had to keep the curtains closed to maintain privacy, as people could easily see into the room. The bathroom was very dysfunctional—mirror light badly positioned, the toilet bowl was square and uncomfortable, the shower faucet was difficult to operate, and there was no shelf for shampoo or soap. Lighting throughout was poor, with only omni-directional lights and no spotlights. The toilet door conflicted with the dining chair, and there was no sponge in the kitchen. The A/C control was hidden in the closet, and there were stains on the carpet next to the bed, making the room feel less clean.

Comfortable

The staff was very attentive and ready to provide all the necessary support. The hotel is located in the city center, close to the main points of interest. Although the room had a minimalist design, it was very comfortable. We had a very pleasant stay

A few minor issues, but generally a great place to stay.

- Comfy beds - Excellent location for seeing the city. Good restaurants and bars close by. - Nice space, well lit, high ceilings, spacious. - Good kitchen - Pool is beautiful, quiet, and easily accesible

- The 4 person room has one large bedroom with two double beds next to one another. I don't know who this is designed for but we found it a weird choice. - Decorating priorities were also puzzling: Designer toilet seats, but toilet paper just sitting on the floor. TVs fitted behind mirrors, but one bathroom with a loose pipe where a shower/washing machine had been uninstalled. Luxury taps but super cheap toaster. Balcony with four dining chairs but no table.

Loved the town , and liked the fact that the accommodation was central but didn’t like the dynamic pricing .

Needs a refurb , paintwork all chipped and walls messy. Broken door in kitchen . Mould outside in small Patio area . Net curtains stained . Mattress on bed very thin and soft . Being ripped off by dynamic pricing , Paid 3 times the amount I would have paid if there hadn’t been a concert on in the town ( which I attended and loved ) the room was only worth the £78 I would have liked to have paid not the £260 a night I paid .

Great light filled Studio Apartment, that surprised us along the access to a great open yard space. Very enjoyable in that we had no stairs to navigate. Great location where you could walk to most things.

Cute community hotel, quiet but close to everything in the city

This was a fun property in a great location of the city. We were within close walking distance of many of the tourist attractions, but not in the noisy heart of the tourist dining center. The area seems to be mostly occupied by locals, and the city here is busy at nights, but the hotel is on a quiet block, so central to everything but a great escape. The staff was happy to provide recommendations. It is across the street to a few high end restaurants including one Michelin Star restaurant (get reservations in advance). It is also close to many historic sights including the church and old city walls. As an added bonus, the hotel has a local athletic club, so during the day there were kids attending martial arts practice, I thought it was super cute and made the place feel more like a part of the community.

The front desk isn't staffed overnight. While this would normally not be an issue, but the front door is locked overnight. If for some reason you got separated or forgot your key, it would be a process to get back into the hotel. We didn't have the problem, but every night when we came back to the room I had a moment of panic worrying I left the key in the room.

Poor value for money with significant problems

The reception staff made an effort to sort out problem. In particular the reception on day 2 were most helpful. location close t0 city centre and within walkable distance 30 mins of MECC. Secure underground public carpark within 100 metres

1. Only two pillows and not able to find any more despite best efforts. first night I used my rucksack as pillow so my wife could have two. The morning receptionist made a real effort and found us two more. 2. Toilet had significant brown limescale as a result of poor cleaning. 3. Bed had mattress topper that didn't stay in place made bed very uncomfortable and gave me backache 4. No safety information including no plan of floor with clearly marked exits. In a fire this hotel would be death trap as only one way out 5. coffee machine with only two capsules on arrival - so no coffee in the morning - disappointing 6. Paint work showing its age.

Superb

Amazing facilities, modern and spacious appartment close to work. A lovely terasse and plenty of windows, modern style, comfortable bed, quiet and well lit. Plenty of storage, has a dishwasher, huge dining table, very good WiFi, would definitely stay again.

I would prefer black out curtains to increase room obscurity as sunrise is quite early in the summertime
