Excellent breakfast served in a former conservatory, this is really beautiful

Room was in a poor state and decoration was out of date. I asked for twin beds but was given a single large bed. On top the room was on the ground floor and the staff was having their break on the small terrace just next to our windows. Not so great

Interesting buildings but tired and definitely in need of some TLC.

Room was large, and was quiet, as I requested. Bathroom was also spacious and well equipped. The room was always clean.

My room was in a separate building (the hotel is basically 3 linked houses). I was not able to use my key card to access the house where reception was located and there was no phone in the room, so I could not talk to reception either early in the morning or in the evening, when the front door was closed. My room was spacious and characterful, but worn and tired. The bathroom was also nice and spacious, but there was a walk-in shower that really was too small to be a walk-in, and the floor got very wet and I twice almost fell. For safety there should either be a non-slip bathroom floor or a door on the shower.

Authentic Dutch hotel with kind staff

Nice small hotel on the riverbank, close to the old town in Maastricht. A building is an old typical Dutch monument, a bit shabby but very authentic. Location is very good. Staff is very kind and helpful

There was a lot of noise inside the builing - closing doors, people talking in the other room, traffic on the street... The bed was creaking... The stairs are very narrow and steep.

Lovely stay at a great hotel. Exceeded expectations for a last minute stay. Very clean with great and unexpected extras in our deluxe room. Great location.

We loved our rooms, - old and beautifully appointed with thoughtful comfortable inclusions.

Our room and our guest's room were charming and comfortable and we enjoyed them a lot. The location suited us very well at the edge of the Old Town and just across the bridge to Wyck, perfect. We could walk to our restaurants and taking in the atmosphere on a Sunday in the Town was a pleasure. Breakfast was only just adequate. The meusli had run out, the fruits were sparse, scrambled egg in intermitant supply, - the saviour was the very good coffee machine. The breakfast room nearest the back garden was delightful. Some were lucky to sit outside on the balmy mornings.

Nice hotel, good location closed to the city. Very good breakdance and friendly personeel. Our room was a bit basic and outdated. Probably not really a 4 star hotel.

Decent but wouldn't recommend for the price.

Standard room, outdated and not super clean. Good location though, 15 minutes walk from the train station!

Value for money was not good. It was overpriced for a standard hotel. Really thin walls so we could hear anyone talking in the hallway from our room, or doors opening and closing during the night and first thing in the morning which made it hard to sleep.

Perfect location but a bit on the pricy side

A good hotel with very friendly staff. The location is simply perfect to explore the city center and there is a private parking right next to the hotel.

The breakfast was a bit on the plain side for a hotel of this price range and the rooms could use some renovation. Overall value for money was a bit lacking.

Excellent stay, did met our expectations.

We stayed there during carnaval, but room at the street side was quiet, Very large selection for breakfast. Older building but room facilities are more then OK. Great location and easy to reach, Friendly staff.

I don,t have any negative points to report. Altough Hotel was fully booked, all services were available and more then OK.

The old school decor

In the pictures on booking they deliberately make it look like as if the Suites have a balcony but in reality apparently only 2 of the suites have them which is a clear misrepresentation. I only booked since I wanted the balcony and I would never have booked otherwise. This is a ground for a refund if you ask me!

Location is great, very easy to get to the main sights by foot. We had a corner room which was great. Breakfast staff especially friendly and helpful. Would return to this hotel.
