This was a perfectly lovely hotel, well located within Maastricht. The bed was very comfortable, and the room well appointed for my needs. I also appreciated being able to turn on the heating after a long day walking around outside in the cold. The staff was also lovely and kind.

Room was just ok. No where to put your clothes. Walls were at an angle so you could not stand up straight in the shower. Blower dryer was terrible. Bed was comfortable and staff was helpful and friendly.Would not stay here again.

The property was fun and unique and the staff was lovely. A shout out to Alexandra that made our breakfast a lovely start of each day. The Expedia listing was incorrect, there was no elevator (which I needed due to a recent knee injury) and there were no laundry machines available as was shown in Expedia. I think whoever set the expedia account up made a mistake as they were confused why I was asking for the elevator. We looked together and they saw what I was seeing...they also showed me all of the other sites they are on that doesnt show the elevator and laundry. They did what they could to get us accomodations on a lower level. Technology sometimes goes sideways but the staff and the building were lovely.

The staff are helpful and friendly. Our room was comfortable and nicely appointed. Breakfast was delicious with different foods to choose from. It’s an easy walk to the old town and quite near the beautiful river. We very much enjoyed our stay there.

Stay Away!!!!! I cannot stress this enough, this hotel is the "Unsatiable". DO NOT TRUST HOTELS.COM REVIEWS, something is terribly off . The hotel uses photos on their website from "sister hotels" as if it is their own! We arrived to this out dated awful building, front desk was hiding in a room and needed to be called out. Our "Suite" was located up 2 very narrow flights of stairs with NO ELEVATOR!!! Location 0 Stars in our opinion, Staff not friendly at all.. Worst experience of our lives, we couldn't complete our stay and had to leave after a few hours.... Do yourself a favor, DO NOT COME HERE.

The staff was awesome, breakfast was top knocked!! Our room was noisy facing the river, even with the windowsclosed. If you book a room ask for a courtyard view. No lift and we were on the top floor. Alot of European hotel are like that. Ask for a lower floor as the steps are very steep.

We had room 521 with a wonderful riverview and elevator access. Afternoon complimentary refreshments in the dining room were much appreciated. Staff were very accommodating and friendly. We highy recommend this hotel.

This was the first time that we had visited this hotel and we were not disappointed. On arrival at the Reception we were treated lime members of the family. Nothing was too much trouble for the Manger and his team of amazing staff. They all went out of their way to ensure that we had a greet three night stay. The breakfasts were really substantial and set us up for the day. The Drink and Cake in the afternoon was a nice little touch. Overall it was a great experience. Congratulations to all concerned. I would certainly recommend this lovely hotel

From the moment we arrived the staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was superb comfortable clean and Devore was splendid. The breakfast the next morning was first class as were the waiting staff. I can’t praise the staff and property enough and we will not hesitate to stay there again when we visit Maastricht again.

Our trip started really promising, we liked the view from the window, the spacious room accommodating 3 people, the furnishing, making you feel at home. The problem started after midnight when bugs started crawling over the beds, over the book that I was reading, the wall next our luggage. After quick Google search we identified them as bed bugs, something that I was not expecting from any place offering lodging, let alone with "Fabulous" reviews. We called the hotel number and were told that someone will come to help us. An hour and a half later (around 2:30 am) the receptionist arrived, he was very helpful, offered us two rooms and helped us move. We could not sleep, because we were checking around for bugs and also the rooms were very cold. At check out I notified the morning receptionist about the problem, she did not looked surprised, apologized half-heartedly, but did not offered any compensation for our inconvenience. Nobody was interested to inspect the room and verify our concerns, to us it looked like this had happened before and they were aware of the problem I asked to be reimbursed for the room cost, last week we received half of it. I am writing this review to spare future guests our unfortunate experience and to make sure that the hotel management take serious measures to eliminate the problem. We were terrified that we will bring some of the bugs with us after reading how hard it is to get rid of them. It will take me a while until I sleep in hotel again!

All in all a nice place just out of the heart of old town. It was clean and the staff was somewhat friendly. However, they made a mistake with our room (which they admitted) and made us change at 21:00. It was made more awkward by the staff waiting outside our room while we packed our things and moved. Otherwise it was a lovely hotel, I would stay there again.

Great value for money. We were very pleased with the room and the service. The room was very spacious. Unfortunately, the bed was a little soft for my liking, and we couldn't get the safe to work. Breakfast with venison, egg and bacon was a bit too rich - next time we might just take an egg. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would return if there is a vacancy.

We stayed in the quadruple room on the top floor. The room was quite big. It was hot when we stayed there and there was air conditioning in one room; however it was a bit warmer in the second room as there was no fan to circulate the air though the second room benefitted from the air conditioning as well. Beds were very comfortable and the bathroom was clean.There are no lifts in the hotel for those with difficulty walking.The location is excellent, within walking distance to everything. We would stay here again.
