The owner couple was friendly and very helpful. The room view was spatacular and I got up in the early morning chilling with a coffee at a small balcony surrounded by Swiss alps. it was one of the best experiences we've ever had in Swiss.
The kitchen was a bit messy and not hygienic, which we can imagine considering so many long-stayed people use it for three meals a day. It can be improved to be cleaner.

Location was a little far from train station. But there is a bus that we can take. So ok!

Location. The staff. It was an overall wonderful place to stay we would go again.
We just found the bed kind of uncomfortable but it was not awful.

Nice place, good vibes. Located nicely near the bus stop and near a camping area. Clean and tidy. Room was nice, though spartan. No refrigerator, etc. Shared restroom on the same floor (dual toilets though), and showed in the basement. Our room was on the third floor so it was a bit of a hike to get down there.
If you are hungry after hours you are S.O.L. There is no stores open after nightfall. Also, there is no elevator which was a bummer as we had two heavy bags that we had to pull up the stairs to the 3rd floor ourselves.

It was an amazing place. We had room with balcony and view is amazing. Personal is very nice, really care about guests. Check in was very quick, all were ready for us. Rooms are clean and nice. You have sink in rooms, but toilets and bathrooms is shared and clean. Kitchen is good equipped, there is space to seat outside also. They have some games outside. And parking is also nice part of it. Views from this hostel amazing. Can hardly recommend it.
Only one bad thing that was its noise after 10. It was some people that were running in the hallway and you can hear it all in your room. It was written quietly after 22:00, but not. I think it’s good idea to have someone stay in hostel even during to night in order to avoid the noise.

The staff at this hostel made the experience such a memorable one. Johnny working there was extremely friendly and made our stay one of our favourites in Switzerland. The vibe of this hostel is one of a kind and such a nice atmosphere around the place. Not to mention the view from our room was incredible!
Nothing, can’t fault this hostel

The location was amazing. Out of a three week trip throughout Europe, this was one of my favorite stays. The staff was helpful. The kitchen and facilities were great. It was wonderful coming back to the hostel at the end of a long day.
No complaints?

The outdoor/adventure atmosphere of the property was a welcome change from the usual tourist hotels. This is a no-frills property in one of the most spectacular places I have ever visited-similar in scenic interest to Yosemite park but without some of the crowding. Probably best to visit in a "shoulder season" month and best to visit in a car as you would otherwise need to walk approx 1 km from train station to visit any other town by train. The owner Johnny is very friendly and helpful and does not hesitate to socialize with his guests.
Showers in the lower level of the building require a walk down stairs through public areas.

Friendly host and really clean place. The kitchen had everything I needed and was easy to use. It’s in a quiet area right by hiking trails.
I had a great time and was really happy with my stay

Great location right by a waterfall , slightly away from the main town which can be quite busy. Had everything I needed and wonderful views
No food on site which wasn’t a major thing but would have been nice to be able to have tea or coffee

Insane location. Just stepping out of the hostel you'll be at the foot of Lautterbrunnen valley, with a rushing river, green pastures, cows, etc. Beds were comfortable and private room is standard but clean. Staff was kind and its about a 15 minute walk to Lautterbrunnen station/downtown, so a bit off of the downtown path. The view outside the window is incredible. The shared showers are a very old school communal dorm vibe but nice modern showerhead.
One of the most nasty hostel kitchens I've ever seen, and I've seen a lot. Don't plan on cooking in here. Big industrial kitchen and flies everywhere. Also, the shared showers are in the basement (only toliets on each floor), which is a bit antiquated for a hostel but its fine. I wouldn't feel super comfortable staying here alone just because it's a bit quiet and empty at night, but with friends it was a perfect budget stay.

The location and views are outstanding. Really chilled place, great artwork in the room! Welcoming hosts, good clean facilities. Thankyou, we hope to come back.
Can’t say there was anything I didn’t like

Very friendly, big kitchen, everything needed for short stay on a lower budget. We would come again. Location very good. Parking great. Many thanks.
It was a hostel without private toilets, so the only pity was a missing toilet in the room but there were a lot od them (on every floor) and it was reflected on the lower price. We stayed only one night so it was totally manageable.

Very friendly environment room was cost and nice to sleep in .Able to cook meals which help me save abit . 2 mins walk from the bustop and 10 mins bus ride to the station . Plus not forgetting the view OMG
Everything was ok just that the price is a bit on the high side for a hostel

Location.
Chill vibes.
Hostel with yr own room.
Awesome and friendly staff.
Outdoor communal bbq
No tv or private bathroom (but that’s to be expected for a hostel).
Very thin walls - Could hear ppl taking, snoring and moving about in the next room as if they were in the same room

This place is in such a beautiful location in the Lauterbrunnen valley. Walking distance from the train station (20 mins). Staff is super nice and really helpful. It's a great place to have a base and doing day tours around the area. So many good hiking options.

The staff was very friendly, helpful and laid back. Great environment. The location was stunning along the river with a clear view of the main waterfall. New showers were great too!
It's a bit of a hike from the train station and the main town (restaurants etc) but worth it. There is a bus stop very close that you can take from the station and goes through town. Not all rooms have a view of the falls so you may want to request that.

Smells a bit funny in there from having a dog. Nothing major, would still stay again for sure.

Best hostel we stayed at in Europe. Very friendly staff, guests and dog. Shared facilities like kitchen, bathrooms and laundry were never busy. Amazing location and community of people.
Our only issue was that the kitchen wasn't cleaned every day.

Beautiful location - beautiful view from outdoor area, nearby bus stop.
I had filtered Booking.com by choosing private bathroom and this room came up. The price was great, but it really was a shared bathroom with shared showers 2 floors down in the basement. There is no air conditioning, so I had to open my window, but I was right above the outdoor party area, and there’s a lot of laughter and yelling and ping pong until at least 10:30 pm. It’s kind of like a college dormitory environment- not all bad, but be prepared for that. Decent kitchen where you can prepare food and a large fridge to store your stuff in a box with your name on it. Bowls and plates and silverware and glasses provided.

Amazing location in Lauterbrunnen! The hostel had a big garden with outdoor furniture and games, and our dog enjoyed playing there while we enjoyed the view of the mountains! The staff was super friendly and they even gave our dog a welcome gift!
It would have been handy to have a couple of outlets in the bedroom, there was only one and it was complicated to charge our phones. And as is usual with hostels, having shared toilets and showers is not as comfortable as having your own, but they were all very clean and close by so it was almost no problem.

Noisy neighbors. I couldn't join the reception to complain about them.

This hostel was great! Loved the town & location. We spent more time exploring than inside.
Not sure why but we were told on Booking.com that it was 2/room but when we arrived there were 4 beds so essentially we were forced to book 2 rooms for our group of three even though we could have fit in one & saved money.

Location was perfect and it’s right next to the river and in front of Staubbach falls. Room was a perfect view of the mountains and they have clean rooms, bathrooms and showers. Access to washer/dryers is a plus for us since we were for 5 nights. There’s a lot of recreational activities such a ping pong, pool table and football table. Great area to hangout and meet new people. Phil and Johnny were very friendly and accommodating!
Some of the stalls for the showers didn’t have hot water but can easily go to the next stall.
