The staff were very friendly
The ski room is a long way away. The hotel did not appear to be geared up for skiing The hotel was disorganised generally. We felt that the hotel was very heavily oriented to a conference rather than individual guests. The only lift was terrible and was overly used by staff. The menu at the restaurant was limited

Very friendly and helpful staff
Oustanding service
Fully renovated charming vintage hotel
Stunning view towards Jungfrau
Excellent location for Männlichen and Kleine Scheidegg
Big groups at dinner: very noisy
Breakfast buffet choice rather disappointig for a 5 * hotel, no egg station, but they charge you 7 CHF for an egg benedict
There is only a plunge pool, not suitable for swimming

A lovely traditional hotel, helpful staff in a great location. My room had a fantastic view.
Nothing- except the cost. But it is Wengen, to be expected.

I really loved our room view, we had a great view of the mountains which made the stay lovely.
The breakfast was good, good choices.
The check-in was different to what I am used to. They welcomed us in the lounge area and gave us a welcome tea.
I would have loved a bit of guidance of what to do around if you don't ski, the yoga classes and facilities. Overall it was a great stay.
Thank you!

The service was impeccable. Great staff - very friendly and attentive. The rooms were also beautiful.
My room being in a separate building to the spa. It would have been fine in summer but not in -10 degrees. It would also be great if the pool was warmer, especially given the weather was freezing.

We loved staying in Beaumier Belvedere from the beginning to the end of our stay. The staff was really attentive and kind and made us feel completely at home. We wished we could have stayed a few days extra. The hotel is conventiently located near the village centre and it only takes a few minutes to walk down to the cable car. Moreover, the Spa facilities were amazing and the food at the Belvedere stands out (particularly when compared with the restaurants in the village).
A minor point, but the temperature in the room was a bit difficult to regulate.

A fantastic hotel in an amazing location- all the staff were super friendly and warm while providing the highest level of customer service- the activities such as the snow shoe walk ( Andrew the guide was excellent) and the Mixology class were brilliant and certainly well worth doing!
Nothing!

Beautifully refurbished hotel! Love the indoor and outdoor pools, the views were incredible along with the spa. We had the superior jungfrau room which was cozy. The staff provided a lovely chocolate cake as part of our welcom gift! We got our room before noon!
The room we had was a superior jungfrau room, however the views were just average compared to the amazing views on the other side of the property, we had to crane our neck through the side window to get a better view. The room was a bit small too, lastly the wet and dry parts of the bathroom were only separated by a shower curtain and as a result we had to be mindful of how we showered

The fact it was wonderfully old fashioned
The bathroom had a bath like a skid pan. There was nowhere to put anything and the extractor never turned off

It offered the perfect getaway! Already upon arrival, it felt personal, but luxurious. They had my room ready, although it was still early morning, and I was given an upgrade because the hotel wasn't full. The newly opened facilities are perfect, it balances historic building with modern taste. I would come back in an instance.

We had a beautiful stay at the Grand Hotel Belvedere. The team kindly picked us up from the train station and dropped us for our return trip. The room had a stunning view of Jungfrau and was a beautiful outlook in a very quiet but central area. The spa was a very welcome and beautifully designed space that really added to our stay, making it ultra-relaxing. The breakfast buffet had a good selection of hot foods, pastries and fresh yogurts and museli etc, the restaurant and bar food were also very delicious.
Can't fault the staff or the facilities at all, we had a wonderful time and all the staff were so friendly and eager to help with suggestions for activities. This was the perfect way to end our overseas trip before heading back home, relaxed and refreshed! We'll definitely be returning here in the future, and will be looking at staying at other Beaumier Hotels in the future!
Generally the price was quite high for food and drinks (higher than other places in Switzerland), but we can't fault the quality at all - everything was delicious.
One evening during our stay we had booked dinner in the restaurant while a large group had an event on and was quite noisy, ruining the ambiance of the dining room. Though, the staff were very accomodating and allowed us to dine in the bar instead which was a much nicer atmosphere away from the crowd.

The views are beautiful once the front desk staff agrees to place you in a room worthy of the category you paid for. The food at the restaurant was very good. The pools (small plunge pools) are pleasant.
The rooms are very simple, as expected from the photos, nothing grand, bare bones of a 5 star standard added during a tight renovation on a probably 3 star structure. The pools are plunge pools, very small. The front desk staff seems to work against the customers, I booked a deluxe jungfrau view, they had half a dozen rooms of the category available, they placed me on the first floor in the annex building, with a view of the roof and trees, in front of the elevator, when I had specifically asked for a high floor quiet room, I was also woken up at 8am by music. After I requested to change, the manager came the next day to confirm they’d change my room to a 4th floor one, that didn’t happen, I was put on the 3rd but it was good enough, the views were beautiful. On my last day, after a 3 night stay, I asked for a late checkout, the lady told me the best she could do was a complementary checkout at 12 as other guests were coming in, there were still 6 rooms of the category available on booking.com On the first night I called asking if I’d be able to order some food after the restaurant kitchen closed and was told yes, upon arrival I was told the only thing available was a cheese toastie, they told me they’d bring it to my room, I was charged 53 francs for bread with cheese and a slice of lemon cake. This hotel is the definition of properties checking boxes to obtain a 5 star rating but really do not deserve it.

We really enjoyed the brutalist style pool, the view from the pool and the room were fantastic, and staff were very friendly.
The only problem we had was the lack of AC, as opening the window isn’t really possible due to the church bell ringing every hour all night.

The hotel offers stunning views and exceptional service. The staff was warm and accomodating. Breakfast was great, and the wellness area is impressive. My daughter loved the pools.
The attic room itself was quite small and awkwardly laid out. Large wooden beams cut through the space, forcing us to duck when moving around. Some furniture also made the room feel cramped, and the shower placement in the bath was unusual and inconvenient. While beautifully decorated and charming overall, the room simply didn't reflect the comfort or practicality you'd expect at this price point from a 5-star hotel. The location is high up the hill, but the hotel's drivers were incredibly helpful and made transport easy.

Breakfast was great with freshly squeezed juice options and everything else. Ronny was really helpful for pick and drop to the station. Entire staff was very helpful over all.
Room sizes for the price point were not so good compared to other properties in the region.

This was probably the best hotel experience i've ever had. From the location, facilities, food, staff, rooms etc everything was perfect. This was one of the best trips i've been on, and this hotel was one of the reason why it was so great.
I have no complaints. However, I do wish the rooms had air conditioning. I do understand that this area doesn't get warm enough for AC most of the year, I did get a little warm at night in August and I had to have the windows wide open throughout the night and a few bugs got inside.

Hi liked most of the staff and the spa.
I had a very unfortunate situation where I went for a massage and a day later they noticed that an oil was missing from the room. At the end of my stay, during check-out, they wanted to charge me 248 francs for this missing oil. During the 3 days we were there, the entire staff knew about this situation and never came to talk to us – it was a very humiliating experience, where everyone looked at my family and thought we were stealing things. I do not recommend this hotel. The rooms also don’t have air conditioning and the breakfast is not varied. The passage from the spa to the rooms becomes very uncomfortable because you have to go through the cold between buildings.

The views were spectacular.

Stunning views, great location, unreal breakfast, comfy bed (though very warm in the room).
We were excited about using the cold plunge, however it wasn't finished. Likewise, it feels like half of the facilities are still being built, and there's no communication about this from the property beforehand. The sauna is finished, but it's been built so poorly that there's a giant gap in the door, so it doesn't get hot at all. The gym is absolutely tiny and a huge squeeze with 4 people in the room.

Beautiful hotel with gorgeous little details, even the staff was beautifully dressed (instead of dark clothes, a light chic casual smart outfit). Outdoor pool came with a nice view and very warm water. Staff was friendly and we truly enjoyed our stay.
Everything was great but I was just surprised the breakfast buffet didn’t offer waffles or pancakes.

Stunning views of the Jungfrau. Beautiful rooms and well designed quality fitments making the room very comfortable. Breakfast was great and the staff were exceptional. Nothing was too much trouble. Spa was wonderful and the lounge areas were very comfortable to spend time relaxing and a great selection of books to pass the time reading. Fabulous location. will definitely return to this hotel.
I couldn't name one thing that i didn't like about the hotel or the stay.

What an exquisite beautifully renovated hotel in Wengen. The building is true to its character and history but the interior design in public areas and the rooms, is gorgeous. Excellent facilities and staff that makes you feel like royalty. We stayed in a mountain view room, everything is incredibly well thought-out. The food was excellent - high quality breakfast and we had dinner in the bar/lounge and we can confirm that they serve a sensational cheeseburger!
No negatives.

good view and spa.
noise of construction outside, could not even open the window. Did not refund 1 day of stay as promised. The propertry for that price per night should be more customer friendly.

Younge and passionate staff. Historical treasure freely restored. Beautiful mountain view from the main restaurant and bar.
Ongoing construction to finish territory around hotel.

Loved everything! The scenery from the terrace is breathtaking and sitting out on the terrace with their signature spritz was beyond all my expectations. The staff were amazing and so friendly.
The view from our window wasn’t the best view and next to a road where people were loud at times. That would be my only comment.

Nothing it was probably the best hotel experience I’ve ever had.

The location is beautiful. Easy access to Wengen train station and lots of scenery in the surrounding areas. The pick up service is very convenient.
The garden is unfinished and is full of soil and does not look very nice. On one day the steps in this part were closed off due to works taking place so we had to walk through the wet mud to get to the main building. We were in the back building and so had a bit of a trek to the main building for breakfast. Our bedroom had the previous occupant’s dirty clothes left in the bathroom. The breakfast options had limited hot food options and breakfast was often hectic - we had to ask for plates, glasses, more eggs etc as there weren’t any out on several of the mornings we were there. The bathroom was not fully clean when we arrived. We wanted to go for a swim but it was off putting because there was construction crew working right next to the pool and so we didn’t get a chance during our whole stay. It looks like there will be construction there for a while.
We went to the Waldrand restaurant on Sunday night for dinner and the service was bad. We had to wait over an hour for the food and many guests in tables next to us left or complained due to the long wait. We also heard a member of wait staff shouting and swearing at the kitchen staff which was not pleasant. The tiramisu was awful and tasted sour and old.
Overall the stay was ok and the location was definitely nice but I don’t think it was worth the huge amount of money and definitely didn’t seem like 5* material.

Amazing hotel, everything is still so new and the staff are full of energy and helped wherever they could! Lovely touch with a pregnancy pillow in the room and some nonalcoholic wine to help us celebrate our honeymoon.

Beautiful view of the mountains and the valley below. The hotel’s woodwork and decor were beautiful. The rooms were very comfortable and had all the amenities one would need. The staff were incredibly nice and shared information about the area as well as themselves. Several spoke Spanish which was nice for my wife and I.
Nothing.
