Great breakfast, friendly staff, very close to train and ski lift and rental, as well as restaurants.
The shower is outdated and requires some renovation. At least, there should be a hook, so you can have your hands free while showering.

We had such a incredible time spending at Regina Hotel. The staff treated us exceptionally. The hotel brings an atmosphere that comes along with tradition and history. It feels that every piece of decoration has a story behind it. I can’t wait to come back.

This hotel had the most beautiful views I’ve ever seen in my life. The location is absolutely prime, with gorgeous balconies that make it easy to take it all in. Even the elevator was such a cool and unique experience, adding to the overall charm of the stay. Truly unforgettable!

The view from the balcony is really good. I have a chance to dine in the restaurant for dinner. The lamb chop takes tender and juicy.
The elevator is a bit old and slow.Sometimes I couldn’t tell if it is arrive or not.

The Hotel offers a more traditional stay with some very old features which add to the unique nature of the Regina Hotel.
Overall a very disappointing stay due to a number of reasons listed below:
- the room was serviced despite us leaving the note to say it did not require a service - a major breach of hotel policy
- leaking shower
- interconnected room - thin doors and walls meant noise levels were quite high
- lack of options for vegans for breakfast. Staff were also not very well-trained and service generally seemed very slow
- Hotel Manager did address our concerns verbally but did little to compensate the issues we experienced

Hotel Regina is perfectly located in the charming town of Wengen, offering breathtaking mountain views. The staff were exceptionally kind and even upgraded our room beyond expectations, making our stay truly memorable.

Everything about the hotel was incredible, you could tell it was the crown jewel in the town, definitely an experience. The hotel was a beautiful refurbished hotel from 1900. Will come back for sure!

Atmosphere from a bygone era: We loved the lobby, lounge, bar, dining and other common areas. Historical furniture, period decor. Lovely front lawn. Took us back in history!
Staff: so wonderful, thoughtful, friendly, and helpful in every possible way. We do appreciated how they took care of us.
View and balcony from our room: so nice to relax in private with coffee or drink.
Rooms are a bit tired, could use a refresh. But everything was very clean.

The infrastructure needs to be improved a little bit.

The beds-comfortable.
Overpriced, decaying hotels like these are precisely why so many travellers now choose apartments.
The bathroom fittings were visibly old: the shower fixture broke on the first day (though repaired promptly), the toilet tank wouldn’t refill unless the flush button was pressed multiple times at five-minute intervals, the cabinet was cracked and there were chipped tiles.
There were no proper blackout curtains in the room, just a sheer and a flimsy cream one. Sunlight poured in at 6 a.m. When we mentioned it, the receptionist promised to “find a solution” but never returned. Eventually, we gave up complaining, as it simply took too long to speak to anyone. The reception is tucked into a narrow alcove, and with just one person manning the desk, queues formed awkwardly in the hallway. On one occasion, we waited over eight minutes just to be acknowledged.
The breakfast was similarly underwhelming, though the location was a grand hall with a very sticky wooden floor. The bread was stale there were no croissants and the toaster was so slow most guests gave up. The waffles looked burnt and dumped on a tray. Yoghurts were served in chipped earthen cups.

Great breakfast, excellent views and service
The bath tub was a bit hard to get in and out of and triggered back pain. It was slippery but they supplied a mat when we requested one.

The staff was wonderfully helpful and friendly. The room was quiet and comfortable. The view from our balcony was unbelievably beautiful. We enjoyed sitting there with a glass of wine. Breakfast was great. Many things to choose from. New loved our stay

The breakfast was good. The toaster used are of ancient technology and getting a toast is difficult
The hotel assists transport of luggage but has no
Provision to transport guests from station. The entrance to hotel is a strep incline and for guests who have physical difficulty it is a big challenge. U saw several hotels transporting in appropriate vans or jeeps. I highlighted this to the manager. If it is raining then walk from station to hotel is very unsatisfactory

Everything was wonderful. Lovely classic grand hotel with beautiful gardens & spectacular views. We had a balcony & it was a delight to sit out each morning & evening & just soak it in. Extensive choices for breakfast. Very comfortable bed & pillows. Staff were helpful & acommodating.

Staff were really friendly and helpful with giving us information on how to get around.. really lovely.. gave us a free upgrade for our honeymoon too. unfortunately the property is on the old vintage side needing of an upgrade
Would be better if the breakfast was served hot.. scrambled eggs were always on the cold or slightly warm side as it was heated by a small candle.. would prefer if the food selection was better too.
There was not much facilities at the hotel, no pool or sauna..and have to drag luggage’s up a hill to get there

We loved our stay at the Hotel Regina, a beautiful hotel full of historic character, and updated to modern standards. Perfect location near the station. Florian and the whole team looked after us very well. The view of the Jungfrau from our balcony was breath taking. We never tired of it. The room was spacious and very clean with everything we needed. Breakfast was delicious, great poached eggs! Thank you. We’ll be back.

The old world feel of the hotel was a plus for us. Harkens back to a time when travel was opulent. The folks here were outstanding. The breakfast in the dining room was special. Proximity to train station was a plus. The view from our room was amazing.
The climb uphill to the hotel. They would help with luggage and even transported us down to station on departure. The daily walk from and back to hotel was a bit of a chore.
