A perfect, comfy base for a beautiful mountain adventure.

Beautiful hotel located right next to Lauterbrunnen train station and cable car. Stunning mountain views, spacious and comfortable room, friendly staff, delicious breakfast, tasty traditional Swiss restaurant and easy access to great skiing for my family. We loved it!

We truly enjoyed our stay at Silberhorn! The location was perfect! We easily walked there from the train station. The staff was over the top friendly! The breakfast was top notch! The room was very nice. The view from our balcony was breathtaking! See photos of the view from our balcony. Can’t say enough good about our stay!

Very Pleasant Hotel in the heart of Lauterbrunnen.

Rooms were nice. Staff very friendly. Breakfast was good. Location is excellent for Lauterbrunnen. Can walk to the train station.

We had requested rooms near each other, but we were put in an annex out behind the main building. Not a big deal honestly, but had to haul our luggage up 2 flights of stairs with no lift. sorta inconvenient is all. Everything else was great.

A wonderful stay with amazing views, friendly staff, and perfect Swiss charm.

I stayed in room 23 on the night of 11–12 September. The hotel was very clean, neat, and well maintained. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, making us feel very welcome. The location is outstanding, right in the heart of Lauterbrunnen, and just a short walk from the train station. The highlight was the balcony of room 23 – the view of the valley and waterfalls was absolutely breathtaking. Breakfast was also excellent with a nice variety.

The hotel is beautiful with breathtaking views! I wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy it. The inhouse restaurant also served lovely meals. Also very conveniently located a minute walk from the train station.

Lovely hotel with great facilities. Enjoyed our stay

The room was well presented and I liked the split level (for the first few days). We had a balcony and were able to sit outside and view the hills. The breakfast was good and the coffee machine was a nice bonus. We really enjoyed our stay here. Staff were friendly and happy to help. The hotel is in a great location too. Right at the start of the valley so you don’t have to drive through the crazy crowds to get to the hotel. That really is a huge bonus.

The coffee machine ran out of milk regularly and wasn’t replaced The split level was fun for a few days but after 5 days climbing down the stairs to go the toilet at night I got over it.

An excellent one week stay at the Hotel Silberhorn

My wife and I recently stayed for a week in a standard double room. The room was very nice. Roomy enough and had a nice size balcony to set out on. The included breakfast included hot and cold items including scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon and pancakes There was also an nice selection of fresh breads, cold cuts, cereals and local cheeses. We also had dinner at the restaurant on a couple of nights and found the food to be very good and the prices reasonable for the area. The Silberhorn is also in an excellent location in Lauterbrunnen. A five minute walk from the train station and the local coop grocery is even closer.

The view to waterfall from hotel restaurant is excellent. Passenger lift is provided in the hotel. The buffet breakfast is great. Some rooms with balcony can see the waterfall. The scenic view of church, waterfall, river and train between Lauterbrunnen and Wengen are attractive to tourist.

The stay was wonderful, however it would be a better booking process if you took payment at the time of booking through Booking.com . I had my credit card hacked after I thought I had paid for the room in advance and changed the credit card details in the meantime, however the credit card when payment was due prior to arrival would not process because of obvious reasons. The threat of cancelling the booking was unfounded until my new details were to hand.
