Our second visit to the Hitel Silberhorn and yet again our stay was covert comfortable.

In fitness room because of its size its over equipped if you guys Can Remove 1 Dammy Bike 1 step machine and 1Workout Tower it’ll be perfect for multiple guests to workout comfortably With to much Equipment now more then 2 people it was a crowd

The location was great - right across from the little train station which was very helpful for an early morning departure. We had a balcony overlooking the town with a stunning view of the Alps. We had a free breakfast both mornings but since we left the last day before the buffet opened they sent us off with a bag of sandwiches and fruit for the train ride. They also gave us a coupon to use in the restaurant at street level and a discount on the Mannlichen cable car.

Only complaint was the tub/shower which was a little difficult getting in and out of. Handrail would have been helpful as well as a shower curtain rather than a partial piece of glass.

Good location

Location. Handy to many alpine places. Room was a good size and was clean. Had a safe and provided a fan if too hot. Nice balcony with view of mountain. Breakfast was good. Has a wellness centre that you can use, can't comment on sauna as did not use but did use the gym, small but adequate. There is a pool table and comfy seating area near the dinning room.

The headboard in my room was torn up. I took photo and showed staff as for one did not want to be blamed for this and two to express this is not what you expect in a 4 star hotel! They did say I could look at a different room the next day after 12pm but I had things to do so was not waiting around for that, also was told that the only other rooms were the unrenovated ones, if this is the standard of the renovated room, didn't want to go backward so didn't change room. Also the powerboard was damaged with wires showing so I didn't use it.

A wonderful stay - we would be happy to return to Hotel Silberhorn on our next visit to Wengen

We stayed at Hotel Silberhorn for two nights during our vacation in Switzerland, and it turned out to be an excellent choice. The hotel is located right next to the Wengen train station, which makes arriving and getting around very convenient, especially if you’re traveling with luggage. Having a Coop supermarket right next door was also a big plus for quick essentials. The staff were warm and professional throughout our stay. A special mention to Ms. Delilah, who went above and beyond in assisting us with our queries about local sightseeing. She gave us helpful advice on the best times to visit attractions and the most convenient ways to reach them, which really enriched our experience. Our room was clean, cosy, and well-maintained, with all the essentials for a comfortable stay. The highlight was definitely the balcony, which offered a beautiful view of the surrounding mountains. Watching the Männlichen cable car right from the balcony was an unexpected and delightful bonus. Overall, the combination of the hotel’s prime location, welcoming staff, and comfortable rooms made our stay truly enjoyable. We would highly recommend Hotel Silberhorn to anyone visiting Wengen.

As vegetarians, we found the breakfast options a little limited. We understand this may not be the main preference for most guests, but thought it worth mentioning.

Relaxing and peaceful stay. Had all that I needed.

Fantastic breakfast. Location is beautiful with a view of the glacial peaks and waterfalls. One thing to bear in mind is cars are not allowed so you have to park at Lauterbrunnen and take the train up and down. Staff are very helpful and courteous. Spa at the hotel was good. Other facilities available at request were good too. Spacious rooms. Balcony looking out onto the Mountain peaks was perfect for relaxing with a cuppa.

Beautiful view, cozy stay

The view from our balcony was magnificent. We would've loved to just chill on the balcony and soak it all in if we had more time. We do wish we had more time in Wengen in general. And the hotel has a very convenient location to explore it - right next to the train station and the main street. Breakfast is great.

LOUD all night long with people walking the streets. Need to fix kitchen sink as it sprays all never place. Fridge is half frozen on back wall. Not many towels, charge extra for any products beside hand soap squirt bottle. No bars of soap, no shampoo, no shower gel.

Good place but noisy when you need to open the windows. You feel like you are out with all the town.

I liked the layout of the place and the space we had.

With the lack of air conditioning and the windows needing to be opened it was very loud out in the town which I wasn't expecting. Also had to sleep with the shades wide open to get air in. It was extra warm, but I would reconsider staying here in the summer because of the noise when you are trying to sleep (especially when the sun sets around 10pm). With the windows closed it might have been fine but we didn't have that option it was so hot.

Great hotel - busy location.

The apartment was modern, clean, and well equipped. We loved the balcony and comfortable rooms.

Being located directly in front of the train station was difficult for me because of the constant noise of people congregating. Mountain views were great, but the train station marred the beauty. I would have preferred a quieter hotel away from the Main Street. I was surprised that there was not a single full length mirror given the tons of empty wall space.
