Great location, spoilt by poor staffing levels and very very tired over all. Disorganised!

Asked for twin bed, but the shelfs on the wall made it hard to change from double to twin. Breakfast was excellent. The spa was great.

Location. Food was quite good for the price.

Allowed a voucher in exchange for half board dinner in main restaurant but this was only €15 and had to be used in the hotel’s Pasta and More restaurant where it barely bought a starter. Very mean.

Fantastic location with a great spa

The location is excellent. A good ski room a bit outdated though. The room was big and clean. The spa was really good with a nice size pool. staff were friendly

The fitness centre needs some work. a double or king bed would add some thing to the room didnt like two single beds together. the breakfast was minimal

This fantastic hotel is located right next to the train station and across from the gondola up to the slopes - it couldn't have been in a better location. We paid extra for a view and it was definitely worth it! what a view! What a hotel! The staff went above and beyond. The rooms were super clean and the spa was lovely! A great way to finish the day. I would recommend!

The sauna and steam room are naked - which is of course the proper way to do it, so not a criticism but I was too body conscious to try them. There was enough in the spa without them to keep me entertained, a great out door jacuzzi and pool.

Nice simple hotel! Spa is nice with stunning views!

There is one photo depicting a children's play corner on booking.com which we were looking for only to be told it doesn't exist (anymore). If it doesn't exist then it should not be displayed anymore I think. They had nice board games though!

Great place

Great views and location. We were given a beautiful room with an incredible view. The hotel is very complete and didn’t seem crowded. Breakfast if very good and has a spa (massages, pool, sauna, jacuzzi on the terrace outside with view on the mountains)

The only issue: I would advise to restrict the access of little kids to the spa. It was honestly very annoying to have kids playing around in the relaxation area.

Better than staying at Grindelwald or Lauterbrunnen

The hotel location DOES NOT MAKE ANY SENSE.. it is ridiculously so close to the station with such a great view and vantage points to the Mountains…. And of course, THE OUTDOOR JACUZZI is an amazing touch !!

The Gym is a bit of a joke… I think you need to upgradenit at least with a treadmill and one good pull/push equipment.

Stay someplace else.

Booking.COM once again made a cock up of my booking. I always book a room with a balcony but when we reached the hotel I was told no balcony even though I paid nearly 400 euro a night for the room. My friend who had the same room I booked paid less for her room by nearly 100 euro a night. This is the third time this year that booking.com has made a mess of my bookings and I am still waiting to be refunded for the mess that happened in Nantes. It is no point complaining to them as they just ignore you after you hang up. The reception in this hotel did see sense and give us the room we ordered if booking.com want to change my bookings they should tell me in advance.

Everything if you can find the sockets in the room try looking under the bedside locker mind you kneeling on the ground as a 72 year old to access a socket is not idea actually it is a very bad idea. Only one socket in sight so not very helpful also the Swiss sockets are different than any other country in Europe and the hotel might rent you one if you are lucky.

Terrific would stay again

We loved the location especially to the train station The hotel has everything a traveler needs. Asked to have the bedding changed and was not a problem at all Hotel reception staff were welcoming and friendly Breakfast was great with a good variety of foods The fruit was really good The restaurant was lovely had a lovely pasta meal

Just one thing I would comment about was the woman in charge of the breakfast room should be more polite and welcoming I understand that dealing with travelers can be challenging but in the position she is in she needs to friendlier with a smile. On our first morning I asked her where something was and she snapped very loudly at me which wasn’t a nice way to be spoken to

Perfect sized room, absolutely stunning views. Amazing spa, sauna, jacuzzi & pool. Staff are incredible, polite & courteous. They all went above and beyond to make it a great stay. Lovely variety of items for breakfast. Have dinner in their restaurant at least once. Delicious choices, great wines & a strong ambience. A truly incredible experience.

The hotel was awesome. Super close to the train station, great facilities, the room was nice and the views were amazing. The staff was very helpful and took the time to always explain things to you. There was coffee in the room which was great and it was super close to everything. Very much recommend.

I would say these are just little aesthetic things that didn't really change the comfort of the stay. For example, in the pool, there was some vents above the pool that were extremely damaged. It was such an odd thing for such a beautiful hotel.

We loved everything about it! The quiet location with a marvelous view of Jungfrau. And their swimming/therapy pool is absolutely amazing. The staff were so friendly & helpful. We definitely plan to stay here whenever we’re in Switzerland!

The location cannot be beat and the view from our balcony was the very best view in the world.

The village sound really carrieis and unfortunately during one of our nights the band in the square played until almost midnight and you could hear it very clearly.

They did not accommodate any of our preferences. The beds were hard and 2 single beds were put together to one double, bathroom full of mould, very small rooms, the spa staff was not available for booking during the stay.

Breathtaking views and a convenient location, but cleanliness and service needs improvement

The location couldn't be better—just opposite to the train station. My room had a spacious balcony with a spectacular view overlooking the valley, with the Jungfrau mountain as a stunning background. The breakfast was excellent, and the swimming pool along with other facilities truly added to the overall experience. The staff at the reception were amazing, very friendly and always there to help.

While the location and views were lovely, cleanliness was a concern during our stay. The toilet in the bathroom had a leak, which I reported, but unfortunately, it was never fixed. Although it didn’t directly affect us, it resulted in unnecessary water wastage and should have been addressed after the complaint. The cleaning staff did a good job after our first night, but subsequent cleanings were not up to the same standard. I expected the bathroom towels to be replaced at least once every two days; they were changed during the first cleaning but not afterward. Additionally, there was no cleaning done on the balcony throughout our stay. At breakfast, if any items ran out, they were not promptly refilled—at least not while we were there, which was disappointing. For those who book the half-board option, dinner is served at the on-site restaurant, Pasta & More. While the staff was generally fine, they seemed overwhelmed by even a moderate crowd. A few staff members came across as rude. My impression was that they were more attentive and welcoming to à la carte guests than to those of us who had already prepaid for dinner as part of the package. The service is always too slow despite of requesting it again and again.

It was a lovely hotel in an excellent location, just opposite the train station. The views were amazing! It had a lovely spa, with a warm pool and an outdoor hot tub, again with lovely views. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was very comfortable and a decent size. Breakfast was good.

The room didn't have enough power points for phone charging, etc and some didn't fit well with uk adapter plugs. We were on half board. The food was ok (although not amazing!), but the service was could've been better. The staff were nice, but it seemed very chaotic and disorganised, making things very slow and quite variable.

Exceptional stay at a beautiful historic resort

Everything about our stay here was amazing. The hotel was just across the street from the train station, which made moving around the overall area incredibly easy. We spent all our days exploring, and returning to the hotel was like coming home to an oasis from the more hectic areas. we'd been touring. Our room had a sunny balcony (great for drying a bit of laundry) and a simply stunning view of mountains and waterfall. The breakfast buffet was very good, with lots of variety including (my husband's favorite) scrambled eggs. Wengen overall was an ideal choice for us, because it has a few lovely (yummy) restaurants and shops but also retains its charm. We want to come back, and when we do, we will certainly stay here at Hotel Victoria Lauberhorn Wengen. Next time, we will take advantage of the spa - we were too busy exploring this time to visit it.
