breakfast buffet was excellent, lots of choices, well rounded meal, great staff attending to eating area, room cleaning service was excellent and not ever a problem, very polite staff

my boyfriend is very much so an american in the sense that he needs his ice bucket. i think the ice bucket service could be handled a bit better. thats him though. i could care less.

Spa was excellent , wonderful outdoor sauna and seating area, Breakfast was good however charging for poached eggs or an omelette was not well received.location was 2 minutes walk from the station, and room was fine with a balcony and mountain views.

All other comparable hotels we stayed at offered fresh omelette with no extra charge.Also no prior warning that restaurant was fully booked, a heads up would of been good.

Very nice staff; excellent location; beautiful restaurant, especially the beautiful and yummy breakfast buffet.

Our particular duplex room was disappointing, very different from photos which show it as bright and stylish. Our room was dark and a bit dingy, with threaded carpets on the stairs and little natural light. (We did catch a glimpse of the duplex room opposite ours in the hallway while it was being cleaned and it was much brighter and more cheerful, so obviously we were unlucky with our room assignment…which, by the way, always annoys me, as paying the same price for such different rooms feels a bit unfair—not that this problem is unique to this hotel...) More problematic, however, was how hot it was in the loft area where the beds are. The weather (late June) wasn’t even hot and yet the bedroom was stifling, which made sleeping very difficult. The staff were very kind to send us up a second (!) fan, but really something should be done to improve ventilation if they’re going to rent these particular rooms out in summer. Also, I’m not familiar with Swiss law, but we had a neighbor in the room next door who was chain smoking on their balcony which meant we got to enjoy a near constant stream of second hand smoke wafting into our room… and closing the balcony door was not an option given how hot our room was…🤪

Pool hours were too short for my grandson (age 12) so we never got to use it. The gentleman at breakfast courteously went through an elaborate process to make decaf coffee. Why not just get him a Keurig?
