The location was excellent, a short walk up from the centre of town. The breakfast was superb, and included home-made jams and plenty of fresh bread, plus eggs, cheeses and meats.
The owner, Martina, is thoughtful, efficient, and a wonderful source of information. I enjoyed talking with her about family and about life.
The hotel and the room were exceptionally clean.
I always like to have a kettle in the room, but I managed to find one in the hallway to make myself evening tea.

Great location, with a great view! Staff was very welcoming and personable. Enjoyable breakfast buffet with many options (yogurt, fruit, cereal, bread, boiled eggs, juice, cheese and meats, etc). Very short walk to the Mannlichen access gondola and restaurants. Peaceful location at this time of year (mid-September). Enjoyed seeing the Alpenglow morning and evening, though best in evening!
The shower water temperature fluctuated a bit, as it is an old building.
I was unable to get my mini fridge to work. Also failed to mention it to staff since it wasn't a big necessity for me, but I'm sure they would've been accommodating.

Not too far from the train station. I didn’t mind walking up the hill to get there. It was very quiet and relaxing, away from the bustling city center.
It’s dated but clean.
Breakfast wasn’t much. Could have gotten much more value for our money if we had walked a few mins down the road. The room had no coffee. We had to pay CHF 4 for a tiny cup of coffee in the evening.
