Worst accommodation experience ever. There was absolutely no service. The receptionist was extremely rude and spoke to

Worst accommodation experience ever. There was absolutely no service. The receptionist was extremely rude and spoke to guests in a humiliating manner. We booked two rooms, and both had serious issues. The property refused to accept card payment, even though card payment is listed as available on Booking.com. We were forced to pay in cash. The heating did not work. With an outside temperature of around +1°C, we were given a small portable heater and told to turn it on and off during the night to save electricity. The staff refused to provide alternative rooms. Because of the cold, we had to sleep fully dressed. The hot water boiler was not working. A room booked for two people with a double bed had only a small bed, and the blanket was too small for two people. One room had no towels at all. Another room had only one pillow for two guests; an additional pillow was provided without a pillowcase. The rooms were dirty and had an unpleasant smell. Throughout the night there were loud noises, shouting, and disturbing sounds, making it impossible to sleep. This place felt more like a brothel than a hotel. Complete misrepresentation, unacceptable conditions, and total disrespect toward guests. Absolutely not recommended.

I think I won't be staying at this place again, because of the cleanliness.

The staff was super kind and polite. The location is perfect, really close to the center.

It wasn't clean... The bathroom was dirty, the mattress was dirty, the table was dirty and it was really noisy during the night, I woke up like 5 times and usually I sleep really deep and I can't wake up easily. I'm not sure what was the noise from, maybe from the people in the next rooms.

Not completely awful but wouldn't go there again

The location is good, for a pedestrian. There is AC and water heater

The old rusted jacuzzi tub is covered in black mold, the door to the shared balcony doesn't close, ants everywhere including in the bed, no blankets. The pictures shown are mostly of the "common" room where the staff watches TV

The most awful hotel ever

The location is good, but there are certainly better places to stay.

This place, which can't even be called a hotel, left a bad taste in our mouths after our pleasant time in Plovdiv. First we arrived and were told that our reservation was invalid, then they didn't agree on what time we should come. We paid for a room for three, but there were only two blankets, towels, shampoos and soaps. They told us that someone would come to make up the sofa for the third girl, but in the end we did it ourselves, and the sofa itself was super hard and uncomfortable. They hadn't heard of hot water and toilet paper. The terrace was accessed from the bathroom, which was very dirty. There was a window that pointed to a lamp in the hallway and it was on all night. When we got home in the evening, we greeted the staff, and they just looked at us like we were crazy. Today we were supposed to leave at 11:30, at 11:37 one of the receptionists started banging on the door, shouting and sat on the threshold and stared at us while we put on our shoes.

Clean and nice rooms, but hard to get to

Very nice place to stay for a short stay. Staff are kind, and the place is clean. Walking distance to attractions in Plovdiv

There is no lift so if you are on the top floor it's a lot of stairs. Also the location is basically up hill and the parking around is very difficult. They state free parking and street parking but we parked atleast 2 streets away. Just something to think about for mobility

The experience was not good, the door of the bathroom didn’t close well and the water was going out, the towels low quality, there were ants in the bed

very good for a central and quiet accomodation

central with a fridge in the room and parking space around the building. easy check in/out with a spacious and quiet enough room. bathroom also big with hot water.

the room itself is well maintained, but you can see time took its toll on it. could work some renovations, especially at the sink that has a big hole where the normal faucet would be placed. the shower instalation also serves the sink as a normal faucet.

The room was pretty modern and with a nice bed! The location was super! Nearby everything. The bathroom was kind of weird, without a shower curtain, so everything became wet in th whole bathroom.

The towels and bedsheets smelled like sigarette smoke.

I think its a great value for money. It’s clean, quiet, comfortable bed, close to the centre. Internet speed is good enough for some work and for some video calls. Checkin and checkout were great and fast.

This is not a 5 star hotel obviously, some of the things could be better, but honestly for this low price, I don’t think it’s fair to complain about such things, so I think it’s fair to rate it as 10 out of 10.

Bad

Only good thing - central location close to the city centre .

Had quite unpleasant experience. Arrived late in the evening - there was no hot water in the shower. Apparently the hot water was not turned on because the owner wanted to “save money from electricity” so I couldn’t really take a shower until the next day. The second night was the real show - the electricity went down at around 22:30. It took the staff until after midnight to figure out that the problem would not resolve itself and I was moved to another room (btw the hotel was almost empty - so plenty of space it could have been made faster). The second room had a broken window so I had to be moved to a third one and while all this was happening the staff treated the situation like it was normal and I was a dreadful inconvenience.

The bed was great!

1) The bathroom was not very well furnished. The bin in the bathroom was too small. A few shelves near the sink would be very useful as well as a few hooks for the towels. 2) the glasses were dirty. 3) the fridge/friezer did not work properly. Everything was half frozen.

Nice location, but not worth it.

The staff was good, since they helped us with unclogging the drain in the bathroom. Chelsea House is on a good location, around 5 minutes walk from the centre. The furniture was relatively new, although the bed was broken.

The bed was broken and we had to improvise with the position of the mattress. The shower drain was extremely clogged. The parking spots they offer are very scarce. The price doesn’t respond to the quality of the hotel.
