Very good value for the money

The beds are very comfortable and clean. Very beautiful and interesting room interior and ceiling. The room was clean and functional.

Very small bathroom. Very tiny curtains do in the morning it’s quite sunny.

Decent rooms in good area of Plovdid

Nice location, decent rooms in competitive price.

In the offer it was written "a Comfort type room with a shower", including private bathroom. It turned out that the bathroom was located outside the room in the corridor. It was also very small and shower was right next to the wc with no separation from each other which is terrible, as everything gets wet around. Also, the drain grate was stuck, so using a toilet/bathroom was a challenge after having a shower. The good side is that after a complaint we got a discount and got a different room the next day which met our expectations. The room number 2 should not be advertised as "with a private bathroom", so nobody is mislead and can make the right choice, according to his/her needs. The host tried to help and rewarded us for the inconvenience though, so it wasn't that bad at the end of the day.

The location is great. The room is spacious. The host welcomed us and was kind to answer all our questions. I'd definately recommend the place and keep it as a favourite for the future.

Bad experience in Plovdiv

The location was nice.

Room was very dirty, bathroom was dirty. There were a safe and when I open it I was shocked. Inside the safe I found a hair. It was like horor movie. The boiler was not turned on.

Is it a 'hotel' if you cannot gain entry at 10pm?

I couldn't get into the property at 10pm after travelling by taxi from the Airport. I only booked with Vel House because they advertised a shuttle service from the Airport. They don't do this either!!

A disaster from start to finish. (i) Advertising that they did a shuttle when they don't. (ii) Having no-one at the venue to answer the door or even answer the phone (some local Bulgarian youngsters even tried for me). (iii) Sending me 'code' instructions by email to gain entry but NO visible box with any key in it!! (iv) I then had to pay full price in a central hotel.

Súper location for a very reasonable price!

Great, location, super great host- very helpful and nice. All the sightseeing are in a walking distance! The property is in the most popular area with lots of restaurants and bars, but quiet and nice for sleeping.

Perfect location with good price

Perfect place to have a bed in very good location of the city. The price is very good. Internet connection was Modem is in the room, internet connection was good. The staff were very kind, always responded positively to our requests. Power went off in the city and immediately they brought us candle.

No shampoo in the bathroom.
