When I realised this hostel was on the main pedestrian street and then that it’s above a popular bar I thought I made a big mistake. It was Saturday. But surprisingly, the noise wasn’t as bad as expected and I had a decent sleep. The hostel itself is quite nice, spacious rooms, good vibe and friendly staff. Gotta love the 12 am checkout!
People from the bar smoke on the staircase leading up to the hostel which means it stinks even when the bar isn’t open. The kitchen looked well equipped but not very clean, hence I didn’t use it. Also the beds themselves aren’t super comfortable, they’re okay but with a better mattress and curtains for privacy that would be the 10/10.

Despite being in the best location in town, we were able to enjoy a traditional stay. Our room was completely private and spacious, and the bed was very comfortable.

Perfect location, there's a bar just below the place and yet it's quite calm. It is centrally located on the main pedestrian alley and the room was beautifully displayed.
The owner was nice and let us leave the luggage throughout the day after checkout
It's difficult not to see the unhygienic side of the shower and the toilets full of rust. It would be nice to clean from time to time.
Although the beds were comfy, I got massively stung by some insects (not bed bugs) - I believe here as well the mattresses could regularly be checked.
